I find it amusing how morons online want to tell me to get a better connection and they won't listen when I try to tell them its the netcode. That just shows total ignorance. I'm have wired. I've played SSF4 & MK9 with barely any lag, yet for MVC3 I get a lot of it. My connection? I don't think so in this case. Couple this with an amount people complaining about lag then you can conclude there's something wrong with the netcode.

But when you only mention the lag when you get hit and disregard it when you're wailing on your opponent, it only makes you look like a poorsport, which Phil is without a doubt. He's decent at the game, but his sportsmanship is complete and utter garbage.
Personally, I never really experanced any lag issues when playing MvC3 (I got it on 360, idk if the PS3 one is better, worse or what. My only major issue when it comes to online is lack of spectator mode for lobbies, I would like to see other people play and maybe learn from them as well, oh well I can't say f Capcom yet, still waiting for Megaman Legends 3

Quick tip, networking.. yeah? There is NOTHING a game maker can do about how ethernet, tcp and udp work, which is why your connections are laggy. Because the system is running on BEST EFFORT data transmission (like the rest of the internet).

It's no knock against him but playing something and playing at a high level are two different things which he acknowledges.

Ok, i saw your other MVC3 videos and i must say, you must have a connection problem . I use to fight players with bad pings, but not 6 time in a row.
The main problem is, unlike SS4, you cannot see if your connection is gonna be good before you accept an opponent.

Quick tip, networking.. yeah? There is NOTHING a game maker can do about how ethernet, tcp and udp work, which is why your connections are laggy. Because the system is running on BEST EFFORT data transmission (like the rest of the internet).

He is used to the proper timing of the moves with no lag at all because he plays locally. Also he is using new characters just to try them out, so for all the retards saying he sucks. @LilNaishieez He hasn't been playing MvC3 for 10 years. The only game Phil is any good at anymore is ST, he's not competitive in MvC3 or SF4. He wasn't a top-player in MvC2 or CvS2 when they were out either. He hasn't been competitive for a few years now because he's been playing other non-fighters trying to play games as a "job" on youtube. He isn't a top-player anymore and doesn't concentrate enough on the games to be competitive because he's doing other things - he needs to learn to accept it

He's gone to two tournaments for this game so far (I'm in philly and was at winterbrawl) but for different reasons didn't play more then a few games in pools. He's known for Super Turbo that's it. It's no knock against him but playing something and playing at a high level are two different things which he acknowledges.
