@RedCobra20 Are you watching the videos using Google Chrome? It is built into Google Chrome. So even if you deleted Adobe Flash or Internet Explorer or Firefox it is still on your computer via Google Chrome.
@ClearTechInfo What are you trying to say that must be deleted? And do you know why is this "upgrade" being required now anyway? Who is requiring us to make this impossible "upgrade" and why?
@ChicaWolverina It's not just Flash. Technology in general advances so fast nowadays. You must always be up to date with Flash, Java, Adobe Air and other stuff
i dont get it i have downloaded the file installed the program and still dosent let me watch what i need to do, my point is I CANT WATCH THE VIDEO BECAUSE I DONT HAVE ADOBE FLASH PLAYER :(
@halopro98 Below the video above is a link that will take you to the exact article associated with this video. There you will find a link to download this exact video.
@Hamodey11 It will Play animation. You cannot create anything with the Player. If you want to create something you have to buy the "Pro" version from Adobe.
@Hamodey11 If you want Flash 8 Pro, maybe check on something like CraigsList. Someone might be selling their old copy. I don't know how you can get it for free. Maybe on an illegal sharing site?
@ClearTechInfo Well, when I downloaded another version of Firefox, I had some recent plug-in to download, so that could be the cause of my problem, I do not really know.. >.<"
@taekatol123 The Adobe Flash Player is now integrated into Google Chrome as of this year. Google Chrome always updates automatically in the background even if you don't want it to. So your flash player automatically get updated in Chrome no matter what.
With Firefox, you must update it manually. I recommend not going more than a few months without updating Adobe Flash on Firefox. Some would say update it every month.
@filipinofear13 This is a common problem. Click the Link Below the video. There is a comment below the article that will show you how to fix this problem.

@katsioylas I think it may be smoe sort of anti-virus, pop-up blocker or security program preventing a successful Adobe Flash Player install. Checkout the latest Firefox 3.6+ Adobe Flash Player install video I created. I go into more detail about this. I just added that tutorial as a "Video Response" on this page.
@DarkDestiny595 Checkout the response I gave "demonrok122393". That is a step-by-step guide on how to get the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player working on your computer. It has never failed me, even on the crappiest of computers I have worked on.
mine sometimes says "adobe flash player plug-in crash" and i press "send the problem" something like that... what do you think is the problem? and how can i fix those kinds of things??? im kinda worried about it..
@demonrok122393 Here is how I fix that problem. It has worked for me 100% of the time.
1 - Download/Install the FREE version of "Revo Uninstaller". Use Revo's "Advanced" uninstall to remove ALL versions of "Adobe Flash" or "Flash Player" from your computer
I have a CCleaner tutorial within my channel called, "How-To Use CCleaner to Clean, Optimize and Free Up Hard Drive Space in Windows" in case you need it
2 - Download/Install the FREE "CCleaner". Use the "Cleaner" and "Registry" options to clean up any leftover Internet junk on your comptuer
I have a Revo Uninstaller tutorial within my channel called, "How-To Thoroughly Uninstall Software in Windows with Revo Uninstaller" in case you need it
4 - VERY IMPORTANT: Disable or Exit *ALL* Anti-Virus, Firewall, Security and Pop-up blocker software. These programs blocking the Flash install are the #1 reason that Adobe Flash Player fails during installs. You must disable or exit those programs or it may never work.
5 - Follow my newest tutorial on my "ClearTechInfo" channel to install the latest Adobe Flash Player. The video is called, "Firefox 3.6+, How-To Install Adobe Flash Player and Possible Install Problems"
Hey, does someone know how to set the lowest quality of flash objects BY DEFAULT. I know how to set it low manually. I want it to be set on low by default. Thx to anyone :)
@laura43fun Hello. I searched about the net for an answer to your problem.
The quick answer is: No, there is no option available to set the flash videos tp lay by default.
The long answer and complex solution is to user Firefox and the Greasemonkey add-on to accomplish what you are looking to do. Below is the website I found the solution at...
@laura43fun It was just a suggestion by a website I found on the web. The solution or add-on was not mine. I don't know what you have against add-ons. I have multiple add-ons installed on my Firefox and Chrome browsers at home and work. They make browsing the Internet a lot better.
so whenever i try to install flash player ten the sites own stupid downloader comes up and itll ask me 4 times if i want to continue the download because it failed an integrity check, then on the 5th time it'll just say that it failed the check followed by a jumble of numbers and then close. i cant even see this video, ironically, because i cant install flash player 10, can i get some help on this please?
@fluffyzhangfei It is probably anti-virus, firewall, pop-up blocker or security softare blocking a successful install. You need to disable or exit that software then try the Flash install again.
Do you know what's weird? I have downloaded and installed the flash player, but I can't watch videos on facebook. Is it because my firefox was on when I was installing it? Please help.
@fistymcnugget lol. nope. The screen recorder program I used back then created that sound effect. The newer version I am using of it does not have that feature/option.
@ClearTechInfo Hi man. do you know what :P? i cant watch this video cause i cant download the damn adove flash. i press start and run and all that normal things... and it says complete and yet it doesent work. and yes i use Internet Explorer. Please Reply
@Marius2251 Click the "ClearTechInfo...." link below the vlideo. It takes you to the article associated with this video. Within that page you can download this exact video for free. It can play on any Windows XP computer. There is also a Mac version.
The problem I've got on my Firefox 3.6.3, is that whatever videos I watch on YouTube, no matter how long they are, say either over 1 minute to 7 or 8 minutes long, they seem to take an eternity to upload!!! I have even tried Refreshing the Page a few times, to no avail!!
Will I need to upgrade my Adobe Flash Player ClearTechInfo?? I hope you will be able to reply to my question. Thanks :)
You need to disable any and all Firewall, Security, Anti-Virus and pop-up blocker software on your computer before you attempt to download Adobe Flash. If not those programs will block you from downloading it.
btw, if you ClearTechInfo click the link on the Top-Right it will take you to the article associated with the video. There you will be able to download the video you see here to your computer in Windows or Mac format (for free).
Look at the video response above that is titled, " How-To Find and Change the Location of the Firefox Download Folder". It will show you where the file is.
won't this damage the computer because idk what to do i have a windows vista it also said something about activeX controls or somethingwhat does it do please reply
You might already have it installed. To test if your browser already has it installed go to Google Search and type in the following into the search box, "Adobe Flash Player Test Page". Usually the first 2 results will test out your Flash. Go to one of them.
To answer your original question, no it will not damage your computer. When you install any type of browser plugin Internet Explorer throws up the Yellow Bar warning. You just have to be careful if the website tries to install a weird plugin you have never heard of, then it can mess up your computer.
ah, 64-bit. I am waiting for a 64-bit released version of FF and 64-bit Flash.
In the last week or two I read something about the new HTML 5 and how that does not need Flash. YouTube has a beta site running. Check it out and see what the performance differences are. I am not sure what the YouTube URL is, do a Google search for "HTML 5 YouTube test site".
Also I believe Google Chrome will work with it and FF will not.
there is a level of irony here, I have searched Youtube because I can't play videos and I found a video that would have shown me how to fix my problem, if I could view it. lol
All of the videos from the ClearTechInfo YT channel are downloadable for free on the ClearTechInfo(DOT)com site. Just download the Windows version (as opposed to the Mac) and you can view it on any Windows XP, Vista or 7 computer.
Just follow the ClearTechInfo Link on the Top-Right. It will take you to the tutorial page which has the video available for download.
It might already be installed. To test Flash out go to Google(DOT)com and perform a Google Search for the term, "Adobe Flash Player Test". Click on the 1st link from Adobe you see. That will test out your Adobe Flash Player.
Ah, that is something different. With the Flash Player you can only view animations, not create them.
If you want to create animations you must use Adobe Flash CS4 Professional. Flash CS4 Pro is not free, actually it is expensive. Within Google Search type in "adobe flash CS4 professional". You can follow the links to learn more about it. Also within YouTube if you type in "adobe flash CS4 tutorial" a lot of video tutorials will popup for it.
Installing the Adobe Flash Player is almost not doable. It is kinda complicated. Too much work for me, lol. I posted a address below that gives details...
1 - Uninstall any adobe flash player installs on your computer using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it does not work it might still be half-installed and you must get rid of it.
Google Revo Uninstaller to find it. I also have a tutorial within my channel about Revo.
2 - Use CCleaners Cleaner and Registry tools/programs to clean up your PC right before the install.

@jed4870 The Adobe Flash Player does not work alone. You need the browser to make it work.

Thanks :)

@theseus27
Hello,
I would say to uninstall Adobe Flash from your computer using the free "Revo Uninstaller" (I have a Revo tutorial on this channel if you need it).
Then completely clear out all of your browser cookies and cache.
Last, reinstall Adobe Flash using the tutorial above.

You might already have it installed. To test if your browser already has it installed go to Google Search and type in the following into the search box, "Adobe Flash Player Test Page". Usually the first 2 results will test out your Flash. Go to one of them.
ClearTechInfo 2 years ago
To answer your original question, no it will not damage your computer. When you install any type of browser plugin Internet Explorer throws up the Yellow Bar warning. You just have to be careful if the website tries to install a weird plugin you have never heard of, then it can mess up your computer.

Dec2012omg 2 years ago
What web browser did you use when it was fast (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)?
What web browser do you use now?
- Joey

Try out the new Beta version of Flash. It a dresses the CPU usage issue and speeds things up.
Just lookup in Google, "Adobe Flash 10.1"
ClearTechInfo 2 years ago
no 64 bit version yet, and I've already tried 10.1
Fullscreen is horrible with better quality videos.
Tobiash87 2 years ago

You need flash cs4, you can't legally download it for free.

there is a level of irony here, I have searched Youtube because I can't play videos and I found a video that would have shown me how to fix my problem, if I could view it. lol
Noz7777 2 years ago
I know, lol.

Malanie215 2 years ago
It might already be installed. To test Flash out go to Google(DOT)com and perform a Google Search for the term, "Adobe Flash Player Test". Click on the 1st link from Adobe you see. That will test out your Adobe Flash Player.

cool, my web browser keeps closing and it says to install the new update, is it free
danielwcas 2 years ago
yes, the new update is free
ClearTechInfo 2 years ago
Ah, that is something different. With the Flash Player you can only view animations, not create them.
If you want to create animations you must use Adobe Flash CS4 Professional. Flash CS4 Pro is not free, actually it is expensive. Within Google Search type in "adobe flash CS4 professional". You can follow the links to learn more about it. Also within YouTube if you type in "adobe flash CS4 tutorial" a lot of video tutorials will popup for it.
- Joey
ClearTechInfo 2 years ago
Yes. It is automatic.
Also if you are able to watch any YouTube video you are using it.
ClearTechInfo 2 years ago
Test it to make sure it is working. To do that.....
Go go Google search. Then type in the search box, "Adobe Flash Test". Go to the first website you see that is from Adobe.

For Ben and chickendippers1997,
If you get errors I recommend doing the following
1 - Uninstall any adobe flash player installs on your computer using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it does not work it might still be half-installed and you must get rid of it.
Google Revo Uninstaller to find it. I also have a tutorial within my channel about Revo.
2 - Use CCleaners Cleaner and Registry tools/programs to clean up your PC right before the install.
continued --->

3 - Google get flash player. Download and Install Flash from there
