Nice! Best thing about this is I have enough knowledge to know exactly what you're doing! Problem is: I never use Thor but now I'm definitely using it more often, also I never remember to add movement with the filter cutoff although I do like a bit of env filter action :D Thank you very much! this is ok, but has way too much hiss in the top end... do u know how to make a "Chasing Shadows - Ill" kinda bass.. i just dont get how crisp their and noisias reeses sound, been trying to do it for years and have never cracked it.

It's all about cleverly placed distortion and EQing, man... Just gotta tweak it for a while till you get the sound you want.

Couldn't hurt. Another trick I've heard alot of is make a few different synth patches dedicated to a "layer" in the EQ range, i.e. a high, sharp sound, a punchy midrange sound, and a deep sub-bass, and put different effects on each "layer". That'll give you much more control over the sound, and a much more dynamic sound overall.

yea man, i've been doing that with varied results.. what do u reckon is the best setup for the low end? im assuming its sine waves but they dont fit very well into the sound.

also if you listen to chasing shadows - ill, you will know that you've never come accross a synth setup like that nor will do even if you try..

First of all, lots of detune (unison) then go for a stereo imager, and make the high end pan all the way, but keep everything under 400 mono.

Now it's time for some proper distortion.
