Why did they make Ganondorf tragic? He's suppose to be the king of evil, so he shouldn't have a tragic past. All he wanted was to take over Hyrule, not save his people. What's worse is that people are saying that he was good and that Link was bad. Are you kidding me? Didn't they play OoT? He is pure fucking evil, and he wanted to rule Hyrule, so he can have power. He isn't tragic, sympathetic, or human. He is an evil, greedy, cruel, inhuman monster. Some people just want to see the world burn.

Just could have been who brought him up. The fact they chose to actually develop him as a character in this. Make his reasons for wanting hyrule just alittle more real. Which was one of the MANY things Twilight Princess messed up with. It gave this battle so much more weight.

This scene is the worst in the game, and is the only one I didn´t liked, I found two mistakes:

1. The king appears from nowhere (Where did he came from?!)

2. Where did Ganondorf had got the swords before getting them out? In his sleeves? UNlikely, they would´ve fallen a long time ago

And a thing I CAN´T understand:

Link and Zelda could´ve scaped if Zelda kept quiet and let Ganon laugh like a mad! Or they could´ve ended with Ganon at the same moment! My opinion.

I just can't help to root for ganondorf on this one: he was the king of a desert where the wind brought death (to his people) and all he wanted was the lively wind from hyrule.

His wish is not to destroy ("Do not fear, I will not kill you") but to change what the wind brings for him and his people. As his wish is taken from him all he does is laugh (what a good sport!).

As I understood it, he first tried to do what you suggested, but failed and more and more Gerudo women died, until it drove him mad and he decided that, if his Gerudo can't lead happy lifes like the Hylians, it would just be justice to make the Hylian's lives as miserable as theirs.
