I personally use opioids for medical reasons (strong knee and back pain) and I can state that opioids such as methadone, oxycodone and even pharmaceutical grade heroin are NOWHERE as toxic as alcohol is.

This is a great documentary. I agree that we need not so much 100% legalization, but decriminalization. Other countries have decriminalized drugs. You don't see the type of black markets or drug problems like you see in the United States. Marijuana is harmless. I agree with 100% legalization of that at least.

Stay away from speed, meth, but E, as far as I know, is relatively safe. Check out xcite83's recent postings (5 parts) on E. Turns out many of the government tests were flawed. The dangerous aspect of E is what is mixed with it, so make sure to find a safe source.

This is a great documentary. I agree that we need not so much 100% legalization, but decriminalization. Other countries have decriminalized drugs. You don't see the type of black markets or drug problems like you see in the United States. Marijuana is harmless. I agree with 100% legalization of that at least.

Legal substances like alchohol and tobacco have killed more people than illegal drugs. Perscription drugs have also killed more people than illegal drugs. Most people would agree that the drug war is unwinnable. But most people would also agree that it's infinitely fundable. It keeps people in jobs, gives people something to do. How do you think the herion and cocaine get here? They have more satellites watching the U.S. than other countries. So u think they'd notice illegal drugs coming in.
