This is the best sounding version of the Final Fantasy Prelude. Beyond just beautiful, this sounds so heavenly.

FFIX and FFVI for me. I absolutely love this version of the Prelude, after singing(badly) along with Melodies of Life, I just listened to this song and reminisced about the good old FF days. I love Sci-fi and all but it... just doesn't mix well for Final Fantasy. Long live the old FF games :D

@TFEF2 IKR! Thats why FF9 is my favorite. It had the medival aspect yet still somewhat futuristic with airships.

FFXV is going to be on Wii U as well (multiplatform), back to where Final Fantasy belongs! Hopefully that means it will be good! I want another 4 in a party game, and more fantasy/medieval themes rather than Sci-fi. (going back to its roots due to it being on a Nintendo console).

You know, this would be a great theme for a portal to a new, unknown world. That's why this is the theme of the Final Fantasy franchise. You never know what world you're gonna be in when you play this tremendous franchise.

This made the ending a little bittersweet for me. It's a happy ending but it has a hint of sadness to me, after all the game has ended :(

@Standuble you know, I felt the exact same thing... It was a very melancholic moment for me when I heard this song and stared at the "the end" words. I stayed and listened to that song for about 30 minutes, remembering everything the characters went through and how it all reached me. I even imagined how they would live after the end, all the Vivis, Zidane and Serah (that's Garnet's true name, the one her dead natural mother gave her)... Whew... strong moments. Long live FFIX :D

Final Fantasy I, II, III= marked the beginning of a series, a legend, IV, V, VI= the golden years of RPG, where the stories actually become complex, darker and more compelling that it's even enough for us to share the adventures of Cecil, Bartz and Terra, VII, VIII, IX= brought a great change and a magnificent one at that, X= marked the end of the series' greatness, XI, XII, XIII, XIV= the crumbling and perversion of something once great, the future for this series remain blur for now

@Through011 i personally thought 14 was the downfall of final fantasy. final fantasy 15 hopefully will be like...the reviving final fantasy. final fantasy 11 was meh i never tried it but final fantasy 12 and 13 were pretty impressive. if you really like this series, every final fantasy is amazing in it's own ways you should realize that. (well i dunno about 14 though)

This song gets me really emotional for some reason. This is my favourite prelude theme, I love to all asleep to this song. I first heard it on Chocobo Tales when you read the stories from the storybook. I would plug my headphones in and just listen. It was really nice. <3

I never got to play this oen really near the end of the first disc the game froze and it kept freezeing int the same place and could nto get a new coppy anywhere :(

I love ALL of the FF Preludes... These, I think, are the ULTIMATE THEMES of Final Fantasy. This IS the FF Theme... That's what I believe. :3
