@ShizEditz That's what all professional SC2 players do. It reduces any possible lag so they can play at max efficiency.

@acountddd actually idrA now plays at ultra settings. As does spanishiwa, sen and a crapton of other high level zergs, terrans and protoss players. It was the brood war players who mostly kept it to low graphics. It used to help a little with spotting cloaked units because low graphics plus high texture showed them up better but I think a patch changed that so it was just preference and how good the computer was.

@boredwan they're not playing on ultra, prob medium but not ultra thats just stupid

@Fredrich1337 actually I know that spanishiwa plays on ultra most of the time but lowers it to medium when he streams since his computer can't handle streaming ultra settings. Every player who uses low graphics will use ultra texture though.
