Dang, sudden spam on my part, the more I listen to the song, the more memories of one come up. BTW, am I the only one that plays this song on Snake's iPod, and give him the "Young Snake w/ Bandanna" face camo and run around for this chapter? It really makes things more nostalgic, although sometimes it skips some flashbacks. Like he doesn't see that camera fall for one. Lol I sneak around in the box too.

Dude, don't think that. That's a fighting game. Not a sneaking game, it's about Raiden, not sunny, hell it's not even made by Kojima, his team is writing the story, but they're not making it.

They're too busy with A: MGS remake that they said they were gonna do. And/Or B: MGS5 which they did say is in the works, don't know how it will work, but i'm pretty sure that it will show Snake's death, so he can finally earn his rest

The team said they want to remake the original MGS. I'm also hoping for a remake of Metal gear 1 and 2. And i think that the only way Snake story will end is if they show his death, so my opinion is that they're gonna show Snake's death in MGS5.

And yeah, Rising is a Metal Gear game, but its not a metal gear SOLID game.

And i understand what you're saying but at the end of MGS4 (sorry to spoil for those who haven't played) Snake decides to live the remainder of his life in peace and that's basically the end of his story.

@DannyDaDon12 Nope instead. MGS4 it's the Masterpiece of Kojima about Metal Gear. It connects all the Metal Gear Solid titles in an entire, HUGE and WONDERFULLY ORCHESTRATED story. Man, I almost cried after I saw MGS3 final. And cried after MGS4 ending. That's umbelieveble. It completed an entire saga connecting three different generations. Simply amazing.

@Neblung chilled spine? try having a chilled body, whilst warm at the same time. this series ended with MGS4. the coming (or already released at some countries) game just isnt another metal gear solid... simply because the main reason of the game is gone. which was Solid Snake. the main story again revolves around jack (raiden). which was a dissappointment through MGS2. the only fun thing about raiden were save-game conversations with rose lol

The save game conversations with Rose were awful and one of the worst things about the game imo. The best part of MGS2 was the part where you fight many Metal Gears and Solidus was a cool boss. He could've been better if it hadn't been for the sword controls.

MGS3 easily had the best save game conversations, and even the the save game conversations with Otacon were kind of funny. MGS2 save game conversations with Rose sounded like a soap opera and it had some moments that were not meant to be funny. The love plot Raiden had with Rose was one of the big reasons why I hated him. Too bad MGS4 didn't have save game conversations.

@civilwarfare101 mgs3 indeed had the best savegame conversations. the one about the mushrooms which reloaded the batteries made me cry laughing (not savegame though) and because the "soap opera" in mgs2, in which the plot was so OBVIOUS, it was funny that raiden didnt get it. at least that how i feel about it lol

I love the movie references when you save a game in MGS3. Sometimes the save game conversations were kind of funny but they were annoying most of the time. I'm just let down that MGS4 never had save conversations.

I have played all the metal gear series, yes the 2D ones for those who are younger, 4 was a masterpiece, the entire serious was. I heard a rumour Hideo is interested in making 5 with The Boss. That I would welcome openly for i know they would incorporate it into the story perfectly. Being hounest, i had never considered the Darpa Chief and Sig to b the same guy :o As for Shadow Moses, Why must Otacon be crushed so :(

In an age where almost every new game gets shipped with crippling glitches and bugs, I can always count on Metal Gear Solid to provide me with a flawlessly executed experience each and every time. From the 1st game right up to now, we've been lucky to have such a great team of people that actually love and care deeply enough about the worlds and charaters that they create that they don't comprimise it all by rushing a flawed and broken product out the door before it's ready. Kojima FTW!

@MercedesDriver2011 Well it's because it's a linear game. I agree that Kojimas game's as especially solid (no pun intended) but it is a fundamental aspect of linear games that they are less buggy since there is less that can potentially go wrong.  This is why Japanese games in general are less buggy and require less patching than western games. Although the Japanese work ethic and pride in their exports plays a large part in this as well.
