  • Memories of listening to the radio in Kingston Jamaica.......so so wonderful...

  • how wonderfull !!!!!l ovely song !!

  • This kid's fantastic, how was he allowed to disappear?

  • Wow!

Been so long since i've heard this song. Brings back sweet memories of being a teenager growing up in America back in the 70s. Thanks WiggyVideos2 for posting this. You da bestest!

  • This group is terrific live too!!!!!! So many bands don't even sound like thier record!!!!

  • I first heard this song in 1975. I was at an atheltic program at the YMCA and loved it on site when I first heard it. The NExt day I called the radio station to request it again, but I requested it as being performed by The Jackson 5. Boy do I still feel foolish. Now that Micheal Jackson has passed maybe He and Marcel King will meet. Perhaps come out with a cd together with heavenly harmonies.

  • This is from the TOTP Christmas show from 25th December 1974 and i hope nyrainbow4 upload the full performance from that show when its reshown in July.

  • Marcel, Leroy and them: thanks for the lovely music you gave us. You were truly appreciated and won't be forgotten.

  • Music just does not get any better than this classic, epic ballad. Pure Gold.

  • I love those afros

  • Yeah it was in the Daily Mirror about Leroy the other day. Another one gone..im old :/ all time great song...1974

  • This band deserves extra credit for doing what Elton John fond impossible to do -- get a #1 song in the UK during the 1970's. Oddly enough, Elton didn't hit #1 there until 1989 with "Sacrifice," despite having a few #1 songs in the USA in the 70's -- for example, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Crocodile Rock, Don't go Breaking my Heart.

  • I didn't know blacks live in England??

  • Maybe you should get your eyes tested you racist!!

  • have u been living under a rock?

  • Not from England, don't know who lives there.

  • Something told me to come check this song out...please tell me..who has passed away from this GREAT band? Rest in peace and know that this song is a masterpiece.

  • Leroy was the Keyboard player. This is a classic tune and deserves to live right up there with the best Motown had to offer. The song and Sweet Sensation will live on!!!!

  • This is sooooooooo good! It is one of my favorites in 1974. It is sooooooooo damn GOOD!!!!!!!

  • I agree. It's one of my favorites too. In fact, I vote for it each year in the Lost 45's countdown on WODS in Boston. It has fallen out of the top 100 recently, though. The station just played it tonight, but I missed it, so I searched the 'net for this. Thanks for posting it. It's one of the most poignant songs ever. I captures an emotion that makes it timeless.
