Asante is awsome so thats one spot locked up. Hobbs started on arguably the best team of all time, and brown is one of the better corners of the league and not going anywhere at the moment. Ikegwuonu was a fourth round pick last year who was supposed to go in the first but dropped when he got hurt and the combine and people knew he would miss a year... also BDawk is gone so hes welcome to get old for the Broncos!

You're forgetting Joselio Hanson. When the Eagles played the Cards in the regular season, he stepped in for Asante and contained Fitzgerald to just 5 catches for 65 yards (very pedestrian numbers for that receiver). He could take Sheldon's spot or he will be the nickel. Plus, they signed Victor Hobbs and Sean Jones as safeties. The secondary is quite deep, there is a lot of competition, and the starters and backups should be solid.

I'll list a few. Marvin Harrison, Torry Holt, Roddy White, Chad Ochocinco, Boldin is 6'0" but thicker, Greg Jennings, Steve Smith, TJ Housh, the list goes on and on.

Maclin's combination of size and speed is as good or better than anyone on that list and that is why HE IS A TRUE #1 receiver. Having him opposite Desean is going to be nightmarish for defenses

The same player? HE'S ALMOST 4 (count with me: 1, 2, 3, 4) inches taller.  That's a huge difference. He has better leaping ability downfield and is more than just a speedster. Both will complement each other well, giving us downfield threats, while Curtis, Avant, Celek, and Westbrook will have tons of space underneath. Hank Baskett should also see some looks in the red zone and gives us size.

And Reggie Brown looks to be on his way out. They can't pay him what they do to be a #6 receiver

I think he'll be a Marvin Harrison type. He can go deep and he can also be a possession receiver. In college about 40% of his receptions were on third down, so he can be a clutch target in the mid-range game. And I think Avant and Curtis have developed well enough to complement the two deep threats on the outside.

I think Maclin will combine short-range receiving with big plays to become a true #1.

Boldin is physical but he's only 15 pounds heavier than Maclin plus he had a few injuries for being to physical. Boldin is Great but Maclin is young faster and has potential to be just as tough. the reason i think booty will be a good QB is because he was a starter a USC. usc turns out more good football pros than probably any other college in the country. and if you look at the last QB's to come out of usc, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Matt Cassell, and now Mark Sanchez this year. All of those guys are extremely talented good Qb's. Palmer has already been to at least one pro-bowl, what cassell did this year speaks for itself, and i beleive once leinart gets a shot, he will do very well
