  • In Australia commentators have said that CC deniers should be tattooed and one has said "should be gassed"...remember the other group that dealt with its opponents that way ?

This is very clear evidence of criminality that must be persued in the courts. I am not a lawyer but if I was I would be making my name prosecuting these people.

  • GATemps peaked in 1998 and have been receding ever since, that's near 14 years of cooling! Scientist said about 10 years ago that temps would soon skyrocket back up but that never happened. Prosecute IPCC NOW !

  • "Sketch comedy mocking the British government's obsession with Global Warming. It's funny because it's true." Talk about missing the point! The scetch is about that you can't claim climate change isn't happening based on the daily weather. Some comments on here are pathetic, no wonder they don't believe it when they can't even interpret such an obvious point. A global conspiracy by the worlds scientists to make money, HAH! They'd make hundred times more daytrading on Wall Street.

  • @Studeb It's the global warming believers who claim that every weather event is some how evidence of their ridiculous theory. So I guess its mocking you.

  • @ClimateScam Actually, anyone who knows anything about climate change would never argue that a single weather event proves or disproves anything. They argue that the notion of weather and climate is separate, as is illustrated by the sketch.

But I suspect I would have more luck informing the wall of this obvious point.

  • Ha ha everyone's taking this topic so seriously! This is a light-hearted parody of what really happens and although global warming is very serious this is just meant to be jokey and funny!

  • i love this video. comedy captures the stupidity of the high taxing green excusing governments around the world.

Australia thinks that by putting in a Carbon tax aka penalizing our own businesses, that it will encourage other countries to penalize their businesses too.

They also think it will give them a competitive advantage. seriously thats what they think.

If a small tax is good then surely a larger one is even better??

  • @HODthunderwolf You're totally right.

  • It's clear people don't understand the difference between climate and weather. Climate works as a complex system where regions have affect on each other constantly. Global warming is mostly seen as actual warming on the poles, and what effects the poles effects the global climate. Not always as "it's gonna be warmer in Europe", but "large amounts of shit captured in polar ice is getting loose". And would it not be better conspiracy to say it does not exist and let consumerism run rampant?

  • Because of this winter we're having in Britain, I think the earth is just going through some kind of cycle to renew itself or something. Now that the weather is as it should be for this time of year... nothing to worry about, hopefully that means hot summers!!

  • What ever happened to snow being a thing of the past? the met office says their will be no more snow because of global warming!

Saying "what ever happened to global warming?" is accurate.

  • It was a 95 year record low in Atlanta and in m any places in the south east states. We could use some better signs of global warming rather than Al Gore doomsday movies. Hard to be scared of the earth burning up when it's frozen solid in places it normally isn't. Facts are stubborn things.

  • @cano21 Facts are stubborn things. While you experience record lows due to mesoscale frontal systems, many other regions are experiencing record highs. You could have done better in understanding the difference between weather and climate mate. While the earth as a whole is warming, there are expected to be many area's of local cooling, and it won't all be detrimental. Problem is all the people who are feeling the negative changes now are too poor for any of us to care about.

  • @GRO5002

    nonsense my friend.

its useless pointing to nations suffering from droughts and famines and connecting them with global warming.

There have been droughts and floods of massive proportions for ever. If you think a carbon tax will change that then you are a screw loose.

  • @arsjth There is a wealth of science that suggests this is indeed the case, and that rapid shifts in the global climate system are resulting in prolonged drought and more intense flood events in many (not all) places throughout the world. I never said anything about a "carbon tax" However if you look to the Clean air act of 1990 you will find that the U.S already has a cap and trade program. This program was aimed at chemicals that produce acid rain. Needless to say it was highly effective.

  • @GRO5002

No there isnt. Please provide that wealth of information to me via PM.

Just saying it doesnt make it so.

In Australia our longest and worst droughts and floods were many 10's of years in our history. Same too for the worlds worst floods, which are often hundreds of years ago. Hurricanes etc are no more regular or intense than the past. This is merely preying on the ignorance of the average person who watches tv and thinks "gee this is getting worse".

  • @arsjth PM sent, I hope you find the Science useful and informative.

  • @GRO5002

in Australia they are bringing in a Carbon Tax. This is all about grabbing cash from high spending governments and about wealth redistribution. The communists infiltrated the greenpeace movement causing one of the founders to abandon his own organisation. A small group of nutjobs hold the world to ransom.

Clean energy can be legislated by instructing companies to reduce pollution (not carbon dioxide which is not a pollution but a natural product that plants need to grow).

  • @arsjth I don't recall Greenpeace ever being a scientific organization, and Australia's carbon tax is what? possibly more effective than doing nothing perhaps?. To be fair, Mercury is naturally present in many bodies of water. Why then do we have to worry about mercury levels in our lakes and streams that increase from industrial pollution? It occurs naturally after all. Many substances in nature can produce adverse effects in excessive amounts, CO2,CH4,O3, and H2O are no different.

  • "Could see jail time". That's how the carbon-cult "win" science debates, by calling for incarceration.

  • @HODthunderwolf I'm sorry but weather events are constantly being held up in the mainstream media as evidence of global warming. Hurricane Katrina is one and the recent heatwaves and forest fires in Russia is another. If the global warming crowd are going to use these events as fuel for their propaganda then I think it’s perfectly reasonable for sceptics to point to record snowfalls and blizzards as proof its all BS.

  • @ClimateScam

well, when global warming advocate point to whether as evidence they are wrong aswell

  • lol great sketch, im sure we all know by now the focus on co2 alone is building to another tax scam to make our corrupt governments richer... if they truly cared about the environment they wouldnt be pushing for GMO crops, more airports & allowing polluting corporations to get away with what they do... not to mention the obvious solution of local, organic food, rainwater harvesting, permaculture etc... which could implemented easily but wont as it would mean less tax/corporate gains

  • @gingermaradona Yeah he indeed missed the point that it's making fun of people like him.

  • @CollinMaessen How come when it's hot for a few days there's always morons in the media and governemnt that try to say it's a sign of global warming? You cant have it both ways.

  • @ClimateScam That has nothing to do with the point/joke of the video that you uploaded.

And I'm not having it both ways. They are stupid if they don't base it on something that shows there is a correlation between what's happening and predictions/measurements of global warming.

  • @CollinMaessen So you think the sketch is pro or anti global warming? I don't think it's taking a position either way. What it is doing is making fun of excessive government regulations and ridiculous "awareness" campaigns.

  • @ClimateScam Uhm no, this sketch is specifically targeting the "it's cold so global warming doesn't exist" claim. The rest is a little poke to weird awareness campaigns.

If you doubt the position of the comedians that made this sketch, take a look at this article (second paragraph):

    eveningtimes. co. uk/features/editor-s-picks/is-there-anything-that-ben-can-t-do-1.1063127

  • Excellent sketch !

My God, has the penny FINALLY dropped ?

Sorry, Al (Gore - not Qaeda) - but maybe you could make a video next (to be freely distributed to all primary schools, Dumb Science Teachers, Gullible Journalists, and the Nobel Committee) on the Amazing Benefits of Fluoridation ? I'm sure it'd be a smash - and have Youtubers (private AND Government-sponsored) ripping each others' throats out for years to come !

  • LMAO! 5 stars!

    Peace
