  • This is the first time I've watched anybody build an engine, it's very fascinating :o)

Yes, scumbags, we suffer those idiots here and they just get away with it in the courts, it's arse. Should use them as live fire targets for the Army! ;o)

  • nice job can't wait to hear it run

and to hell with the assholes... a lot of awesome people in Australia too

  • In 70's I had a '64 w/four wheels att, hydrolastic susp. 'n all! Offer'd $100 but orig owner took $50 'cause shop said $1,400 to fix. LOL'd at my tools then shart when it sparked; fouled plugs was all. Sold for $450 after 30k miles ++ stories: shift-lever det'd in traffic, lows cut on a mtn. hwy (ahh Lucas 'lectrics, pop'lr w/onc. tfk!) Best: Ownin a 928 @ light 3 times! Maybe daddy's car, nah, he wasn't up on kinetics; w/35hp ya coast+time stop ligths! The project's a 'beauty, thx. for sharing.

  • We have those "YOBBO'S" here in Chicago too - but we call them crack-heads.

Hurry up and finish that engine up - it's going to be a great test stand runner - I never seen anything like that one before.

  • ed bullets are to expensive like ak-ones i thihnk are more expensive that's why other pissed people invented bombs and grenades a home made one with bearing balls and nails should do the job nice and the most important CHEAP

  • what's just as bad are the darn gangbangers just go around blasting their sinful crap music, even in the early morning they do that! what has this world come to.

  • i agree with you on the yobbo's i haven't really seen any over here in the states but i know they exist and i can imagine how annoying it is they get paid to be "good" by the country so they dont have to work and they get to destroy other peoples property.... damn assholes

  • you call that a big adjustable wrench? wait till i go to nh and get a vid of the i'd say 2.5 ft to 3 ft wrench in the garage there, it ways an easy 20lbs

  • Did anyone get any footage of them doing their nasty deeds?

  • @Nighthawke70 not that I know of

  • I got a bunch of those shitheads over here too, smash car windows for the hell of it, break into cars for a pack of cigarettes.... makes no sense....... and I cant wait to see this engine running!

  • I dont get why they get pissed and smash crap that isnt even theirs, I mean, I like getting pissed and going outside fixing stuff until early hours of the morning.

  • On the subject of Yobbo's, we have our share of those type of fucknuggets in this country as well... :-)

  • Still got that mega roofers blowtorch? I'm thinking that linked to a sort of gas tank backpack. That'd piss them off!

Bloody scallies, one of my mates had an old Ford Fiesta. One day he woke up to find it on its roof. Police didn't want to know as we couldn't prove who did it even though everybody knows, including the police who the local troublemakers are.

  • I recently rebuilt one of these engines for my old mini, changed the drop gears to straight cuts, duplex timing chain, lairy camshaft and and polished/ported head with bigger valves, what a screaming monster that was!

  • a-lumin-um? C'mon cobber - it's ali-min-i-um!

  • ed for minister

  • You a fan of the AK-47 Ed?

  • @eurokid83 I love'em to death :D, best amalgamation of wood and steel the world has ever known, just a shame they are put in such bad light by the press and the anti-gunners.

  • @Aussie50 Yeah I hear ya. As a prowd owner I can say, without a shadow of a doubt I love my AK. Wouldn't give it up for anything.

  • amen on the ak47.. but can i ask why you say aluminum like a yank?

  • You should run this country!

  • know exactly what you mean re: dumb as shit wastes of space.

had a halfway-house at the end of our street until ~1 years ago, but even with that gone, low-cost flats that seem to be popping up everywhere don't exactly invite much better mannered folk.

my response instead of making myself visible is a set of floodlights and directed sirens that will go off along with my car alarm.

of course it's probably too late to ward off damage but at the very least they'll end up hearing impaired. :)

  • @tehxan

LOL, blowing a massive siren in their ears, that's what i yet have to see.

  • the Yobbo didnt like your video :D

looking forward to se this run ...

  • aussie50, if people are breaking laws then there is a place to resolve this via the judicial system and the police. I know that it doesnt always get the instant answer we want but it is what we have in Oz. Of all the legal systems in the world ours isnt the worst. But people taking this role to themselves without recourse to the legitimate avenues can only lead to chaos. Who would then judge the vigilantes.?

  • @romandybala I've called the cops on them many timed and never seen or head of a cop car even goin near my street.

if the cops stamped on them every time I would not have a problem. but they don't.

i was joking about using small arms in a residential neighborhood, I am well aware of the damage a wayward slug can do to innocent bystanders and their property.

but if I were to be elected into government I would definitely bring down the iron fist on them.

  • hahaahhahah loved your talk about yobbos!

  • I reccomend a small caliber if you intend to disperse the fuckwits.... :) a 7.62 is gonna be a bit to easy to trace back! try a 17HMR. very effective

  • Go TF2 style, engineer up a couple of sentry guns..

  • Those goons (hoons?) would last about five minutes if they tried that in Texas, Arizona, and a number of other U.S states, either the cops would nail them or the private citizens would. In Canada we haven't had many problems with this, yet, mostly stupid crap like tagging by teenagers. We have had problems with human scum from Pakistan and other Islamic countries performing "honor" killings of wives and daughters and they were given a pass by a judge in at least one case.

  • Love the no.3 use it on almost everything :P.

  • You need to go all Mad Max on those motherfuckers.

  • nice work there ed, looking forward to see how she runs. there is times where theres drunken gangs lurking in my suburb playing with fireworks and stealing rare vintage cars, but other than that, its usually quiet now. not so much i can say for my cousin, their next door neighbour's car got torched a couple months back and nearly cost them both houses.

  • it seems to be the way of our suburbs. lucky im far enough out of the real suburban scene that there arnt many one foot, but there is shitloads of hoons all over. they even pour oil down on the road to do burnouts and shit!

and the general opinion of this country is to fuck everyone who has more then your self over. good old 'aussie' spirit lol

  • hey Aussie can u use ROSL 20w-50 oil in diesel engines? cause my school did.

  • Nice Vid. Keep Comming. Morons EVERYWHERE, TONS OF THEM, no only in Australia.

  • where i go to school it is fulled with stupid fucking loonies that cause shiti could go on but there is no point

  • Fuckwits are taking over the world.. Thats all I have to say about politics.

  • i agree with you about what to do with the crazzies like comeon get a hobby we were all once kids too like we were never like that

  • lol "fuckwits" thats one i have not heard

  • the uk is the same with people. When I was a kid it was a nice place but now its just full of scum that are basically wastes of blood and organs they serve no purpose other then making my life miserable and an ak47 to the face is the only thing they deserve

  • Good job ,looking forward to seeing the engine running.

  • I know there is a way to use a feeler guage on the driven gear to measure the thrust but i forget how to do it . I assembled one like this and it knocked until we installed shims on the input gear,

  • kJust to let you know the thicknes of the front cover gasketis critical because if its too thick the front gear will wooble and knock while its idleing .

  • @powder555 thanks, I used the one supplied in the kit but we will see if its right. it almost seemed a bit thinner than the old one so it may take up the wear in the thrust washers

  • It's not just your country that's full of morons :-( they're everywhere.

  • @pikuorguk yeh, after what we saw in London a few months back, I have no doubt.

sad part is these crazies over here would love to riot like they did in London, you hear the bragging about it and it makes me sick.

  • @Aussie50 I wasn't sure if you heard about the riot a few months back in British Columbia here in Canada? Talk about bragging and crazies

  • @pikuorguk Yeap, Here we got moroccon and turkish hoodlums..

  • I agree about the last bit. Last night, the same type of messed up people vandalized my street. They've scratched a bunch of cars, broken a lot of car windows and punctured some tires. God damn, I hate those people. Why can't they just leave other peoples stuff alone... Why do they need to destroy other peoples stuff? People they don't even know...? I just don't get it...

  • @TheCrazyInventor thats one thing that really burns me up, vandalizing cars,. that's why I wasted 20 mins out front making sure they weren't going to go for the cars in my driveway.

  • LOL I like your rant at the end, I feel the same, those people dont know how to use there brains, if the even have some,! XD

  • @MrGerbilBrain If they had a brain, they would take it out and play with it.....

  • @BuickDoc L OOOO L!!!! XDXDXD

  • @BuickDoc

    LOL!

  • one of my friend's dad has tons of guns. been over to his house tons of times and seen a gun out, but never seen the same one! lol i know he has an ak 47, an uzi, a 1911 pistol, a glock something or other, more pistols probably, tons of shotguns, rifles with infrared scopes. its sick at his house

  • Don't know about down under but folks like that have RIGHTS in the good old US of A. Hell, we give them welfare, low interest loans, social security, food stamps, free medical care, yada, yada, yada. I'm all for given em a bit of lead poising too...

  • @huerdon yeh same here, some of them work but a lot get welfare, spend it on booze and drugs and just go around causing harm on the streets or driving their cars recklessly.

  • Good job on that Engine, Agreed, Damn Street Yobbo's, they're taking us over!

  • right on mate.........

  • Get rid of all the useless people , hey?The ones we dont like with their funny way of speaking, their odd food oh, and dont their clothes look weird? Why cant they be more like us? Adolf H. had a fair bit to say about that . Bit of tolerance can go a long way. Remember when you were a young teeenager? Did you not ever smash a bottle in the night while out with your mates?Hopefully all the kids make it thru their early years and find a path in life which brings them pleasure and fulfillment.

  • @romandybala I'm not suggesting total genocide here, but giving these Adults more 'tolerance' is why they constantly run amok, they aint kids, they are grown men causing legitimately malicious harm. wielding weapons (A timber fence paling is a effective melee weapon and stolen property )

when I went out with my friends, we may have made a bit of noise, but we did not smash bottles around or vandalize property. its not that hard to do.

  • @romandybala The reason why the UK is in such a shit state is that the previous governments attemps at a nanny sta.. I mean wellfare state means that nobody is responisibly for anything and can do what they like with no fear of prosecution. Sometimes leniency does more harm then good.

  • we have ass holes like there here in the states too. fuck um all

  • we need to all go fuck gun laws at once. Can't fine everyone at once without backlash

  • Lots of progress!

Im with you on the yobs, i can't stand them.

  • Comment removed

  • to clean gasket areas the best ive ever used is called 3M Bristle brush. They are disks with plastic pins on them you put on a die grinder or a drill. You can choose then for steel or aluminium. Did my compressor's head with that, worth it

  • Nice work, have to say though, im not sure id trust that torque wrench...maybe time for a new one? :)

  • I'll need an AK-47 also, we have the same kind of badass junkies here. And a golden ex-Saddam's AK should look great onto my living room wall, when not in use.

  • I can already hear this old girl doing its first crankovers and fire off.
