pretty wild. my father used to catch rattlesnakes in the adirondacks, and he ended up finding a nest of copperhead offspring one day. One of them had 2 heads, and he donated it to a local museum. It only lived for like 4 months (which i think is normal for snakes that have this strange birth defect), but it was the only venomous snake I have heard of with this characteristic.

@legion1a One thing I know is that, one of the head is always the front-man... One leads while the other follows... I've seen a snake where it had 2 heads but it wasnt like the one over here, it had a normal snake head, body and then another head instead of the tail...! freaky isnt it? one head takes the lead for sometime then it'll be the other side head's turn.. I saw that snake when I was a junior school boy in my country Nepal.

I truely think you guys should be on Animal Planet. So many people watch that channel that, I think, it would help you give snakes a better rep. I've seen on so many of the shows that are on there showing snakes attacking people that something like what you guys do should shown. I really hate how many people make snakes sound like monsters. :( I've took some of my friends, who don't like snakes, and had them interact with my snake. Most of them love snakes now because of that! XD

Very cool! The closest thing I've ever hatched out to something like that was siamese corn snakes, which were joined together about 4 inches midbody. I saw two heads sticking out of the egg so I knew something was up. Did my best to keep them alive, but refused to eat and died about 2 weeks after emerging from the egg. Just wasn't meant to survive, I guess.
