thanks,, you taught me alot that i didnt know, I've always wanted to go to that area to learn about the mining, but I never make it, not cheap driving from wisconsin.
Please tell the artisan miners, my ROTAPAN quickly recovers rubies, sapphires as well as gold. The specific gravity of these gems is twice as heavy as sands and quartz and gold is even greater, The Rotapan operates by sorting the different specific gravities .
@Kenny123456ish If you are willing to pay you should go to Gem Mountain, more stones and bigger than what we find. Also they are open all the time rather then just when we go up. If you are hell bent to scratch with us and can follow the family/dog friendly digs we go on then you can come for free. Message me through youtube.
If any are bigger than 4mm I could give it a go. If not get a hold of me after this next season. I just was accepted to take my journeyman electrician test for Montana. I am hoping to move up there by a place to dig. Crystal Park, Lolo forest or, the Spokane Bar.
@kyle528ify Biggest stone I ever found came from Spokane Bar, beautiful Green of about 8ct. That said crystal park is almost more fun and a lot less work.

are they worth the time???

@justinsnewchannel Nope but it is the time I that I value, not the stones.

There's no such thing as red sapphires. Red corundum are called ruby, blue are sapphire while any other colors are termed fancy colored sapphires.

I am a gem cutter from Reno. I would like to cut gems out of those.
kyle528ify 11 months ago
@kyle528ify I doubt they are large enough to be worth the bother of cutting. Maybe next season we can continue to home in and do better.
