    P.S.

About the subscribiption... heading to your channel, for to thank you as you deserve!

    ^_^

  • @danbergam I'll definetely have to tell you how everything goes :D And thanks!!

  • @BrookeLynne2010

    Thanks to you, in advance!

    :-D

  • wait at step 16 5:08 who come mine aint open it is close i cant do the step

  • @faizaabid1

Ouch... probably something went wrong while doing the frog base... if I was in you I would unfold the figure you've obtained so far, until you find where the wrong flap is.

Anyway, these are things that may easily happen!

  • Really cool

  • @Ilnumeroverdecom

Grazie mille, per la visita e per il bel commento!

    :-)

  • Okey when i realized how to come to this step of video, it was definetly perfect!! Thanks a lot. Very slow and so perfect for someone like me. !!!! :)

  • @schiqqergirl94

Congratulations for the perfect result you got!

You're very kind, you've noticed the aspects I concentrated the most when making these tutorials: slowness and clarity (as much as I could, I'm far from being perfect)... but let me tell you that I only helped with the instructions: but *you* put your skills, patience and will, and you achieved such a great result!

    Be proud of yourself!

Thanks to you, for such a nice comment!

    :-)

  • see the original animated version FUA this fun

  • Is there a particular reason why you're not recording your voice?

I mean, it's ok, the people who are familiar with origami can understand the folding method, but it would be much better if you made every step clear commenting it loud.

The way your tutorials are now is just very slow and at times boring, not to mention a bit confusing because of the low quality video.

Just some advice to improve in the future ;)

Thx, it was helpful to me anyways!

  • @alezalez75

In my latest tutorials the quality improved a lot... let's not forget, though, that when this video was made there were many limitations to quality (let's say: a low resolution).

I've began to think about remaking these first tutorials with a better quality, of course.

About the talking. That's an improvement I'm thinking about, even though I don't really feel comfortable in giving verbal explanations (English isn't my first language).

    Glad it helped you!

    ^_^

  • i made this upside down and it was a flying opened banana!

  • @alberlos

    Haha, that was funny, indeed!

And... well, you could have given me an idea for a new origami design! ;-)

    Stay tuned!

    :-)

  • @danbergam I thought about the peace symbol but i don't know if that is hard to design

an i made a video on how to fly you lily but you are the one who can only watch the video because it's a nonsense and yes i have lots of mistakes because i'm spanish

  • @alberlos

I guess someone already made it, but I'm not sure and should check...

About your idea of having the iris flower fly... it's a cool idea!

    Congratulations for thinking about it!

    :-)

  • do me a favor, make a video of the last climb I did

  • hear is my own and do me a favor, make a video of the last climb I did.

  • @origatlan2011

    Sorry, I don't understand...

  • Thanks so much!

I hope you can make more easy origami-s.

  • @Theliketoparty

    You're very welcome!

Oh, I've put out a good amount of tutorials, so far, and I'd say that most of them are quite easy!

I cordially invite you to try some of them!

    :-)

  • Can you make a tutorial on how to make a diamond origami?

  • @Theliketoparty

First of all, thank you for asking!

Hmm, I'd have to think about it... and, most of all, I'd have to try to figure it out, somehow...

I can't promise anything but, be sure, I'll do my best to come out with something!

    ^_^

  • I LOVED THE TUTORIAL! because i always forget the steps on how to do that. Hope you do more. :) Thanks so much. :)

  • @Theliketoparty

That's *so great* to know, that I've been able to help you in making this!

That's why I want to thank you so much in return!

More? Oh, I've been definitely doing more... for example, my latest tutorial is about a tulip... it's featured in my page: feel free to check it out, if you feel like!

    :-)

  • 1.pause video

2.hold left for three seconds then while holding left press and hold up you are now playing snake

    3. spread the word

  • @Theliketoparty

Yes, that trick has been around for a while! ^_^

By the way, if I may ask... did you like the tutorial?

  • going to do another video

  • @origatlan2011

I wish you a happy folding, then!

    ^_^

  • I hope your comments on my account

  • thanks for subscribing. olle do you make a new video?

  • @origatlan2011

I'm just editing a new one: hopily, it will be out in a couple of days!

    :-D

  • I love your videos

  • @origatlan2011

That's kind, from you... thank you very much!

    :-)

  • well at least we can be friends

  • @origatlan2011

    Oh, of course we can!

    Not only.

You know what? I'm going to subscribe to your channel.

    ^_^

  • sorry origatlan2011

  • i invite to subscribe to origatln2011

  • @origatlan2011

It is not so nice to use my videos to advertise yours: when I was at the beginning of my YouTube experience, I didn't go around on others' videos asking people to subscribe!

Ok. I'm going to give you one of the best advices... I mean, for me it worked.

Advertising serves to nothing, if you don't have *quality*!

Care about the quality of your videos, try to make them the best you can... and if they are worthy, people will watch and subscribe without asking.

    Treasure this.

  • Hello everybody!

Here I am, willing to read to your comments... feel free to do so, if you want!

    ^_^

  • but hears and step 1 2 and 3 to about those ??????????

  • @flexita45

I don't if I correctly understood... but if your doubt is about the beginning figure, that is the frog base: in the description of the video you find the links to those parts!

    ^_^

  • i dont understand

  • @TheValeriemelissa

    We can solve that!

First of all, if you refer to the beginning figure, that's - as it's written in the subtitles - the frog base: just follow, as it's written, lessons #1 and #3 (links in the description) and then return to this video.

If you're referring to any other step, just let me know on what of them you're having some difficulties and I'll write down an explanation!

Origami's like that: sometimes you need to watch a step more than once to better get it.

    ^_^

  • @TheValeriemelissa if youwant something easier watch my vd of any easier flower

"How to make an origami flower MsAC39" thats wat u need to put in the search

  • @MsAC39

Would you appreciate if anyone else came to your videos only to advertise its ones? I don't think you would.

  • @danbergam thanks! and yes she told me it was beautiful! (:

  • @cami99100

I was sure she would have appreciated it!

Thanks to you for letting me know that and for putting a smile on my face!

    :-)

  • Hello, everybody!

Feel free to let me know your opinions about this video, if you want!

And, if I may help, just don't be shy and ask!

    ^_^

  • @danbergam thank u! (: and yes i hope she like it..

  • @cami99100

She will love it... it's a sign of your love for her! ^_^

  • i was looking for a mothers day present and i think this is perfect! i like it! (:

  • @cami99100

I'm sure she'll love it too, for the flower itself... and because it will be a present of yours you'll have made with your will and patience!

Thank you so much, for so nicely putting a smile on my face! :-)

  • Comment removed

  • great its my mothers day present!!

  • @suriah100

I'm sure she will appreciate it twice: for the flower in itself... and, first of all, because it was a really nice thought of yours, a lovely sign of your love for her! ^_^

Thank you very much for so kindly putting a smile on my face!

    ^_^

  • i didnt understand T_T but thumps ups because u know how to that :D

    XD

  • @03leviatan

    You're so kind! :-D

But please, don't despair! You can do it too!

What step(s) you didn't understand exactly? I might write down an explanation for you, it wouldn't be a problem for me!

    ^_^

  • I hadn't done of these in several months, and needed a "refresher course". Thank you!

  • @aster48

I'm glad I've been able to help you... and well, I want to thank you in return you for having chosen one of my tutorials!

For any folding need, feel free to consider them all at your disposal!

    :-)

  • parece q fuera para gente GAFAAA!!! NO ME GUSTA ESTE VIEDO NO ES CASI INSTRUTIVO!!

  • @hssead

  • @danbergam obviously is instructive

    is so easy to understand

hssead maybe you don´t see anything

  • @c5778

Thank you very, very much for your kind defense and for your beautiful words!

    :-)

  • hêy_âNy_gùys_wÅnt_tO_chÃt_wìth_mÈ

  • @CutayyScottaj183

You see, if you had payed attention to the video you've chosed to spam on, you would have realized what a beautiful flower is this... and, maybe, instead of spamming, you would have probably begun to fold it and now you would feel the satisfaction of having made a paper flower all by yourself!

Too bad, looks like for now you've lost a chance.

I wish you to be able to understand, one of these days...

  • @danbergam And u wasted ur time when you could of been making a flower =D

  • @FLETCHSMUSICPLANET

Err... I'm the owner of this video... I mean, I'm the guy who actually made this tutorial!

    ^_^;;

  • @danbergam hahah i no just jokes =')

  • @FLETCHSMUSICPLANET

Hahaha! Ok, then, sorry, I didn't get it... meh, shame on me!

Thank you, for putting a smile on my face!

    :-D

  • nice, for more origami video go to origami-instructions.info

  • that was tum

  • @NMJE

    "Tum"?

  • @danbergam FUN*** did it from my cellphone auto-correction changed my word :S

  • @NMJE

Oh, things that happen, with technology!

Thank you so much for your kind comment!

    ^_^

  • THIS WAS THE BEST VIDEO ND THE BEST TEACHER CUZ DEY PUT IT STEP BY STEP

  • @Katijafly

...and this comment of yours is one of the best comments I ever received on one of my tutorials, because I did my best both in terms of designing and making in order to make these tuts as much clear and easy to follow as possible!

Thank you so much for your kindness... you've put a smile on my face and that's priceless and precious, to me!

    :-)

  • this video sucks

  • @VSY021

What should I say about your comment? I can't even see it as "constructive criticism", because it doesn't help to clarify what you didn't actually like about this video.

Is it about the low resolution? When I made this video, maximum resolution admitted was 320x240!

Is it about the slowness with which I show the steps? That's something I'm proud of, instead, because even beginners may better follow it!

Is it about... what? As you can see, your comment doesn't really help... :-\

  • Hello everybody!

I'm willing to read your comments, opinions, stories and whatever you feel like to share... don't be shy!

    ^_^

  • cool!!

someone taught me to make this flower like 14 years ago, and ever since i have never found it anywhere :) and meanwhile forgot the details of how to make it :)

such a nice reminder, thanks a lot !

  • @OnTheReBound

I'm so glad to have been able to bring those steps and those folds back in your memory and in your heart... and in your hands too! ^_^

I really want to thank you in return for putting a smile on my face!

    :-)

  • @BrownieKinz00

I wish I was able to let you know *what and how much* your words mean to me!

Thank you very much, your appreciation really means a lot!

    :-D

    Daniele aka Dan

  • cool

  • @dsmitsmit

Thank you so much for stopping by and being so kind!

    ^_^

  • yea!! i made one and its horribly sucky, but i cant wait to get better at it!! ^-^

p.s. i luv your videos danbergam!!!

  • @omgliketaco

And you will get better at it: by getting used to the steps and, what matters the most, being accurate with the folds (that's fundamental)!

The greatness of origami just stands in that: seeing a regular square becoming whatever complex and beautiful figure and realizing: - wow! I made it with my own hands! -

    :-D

    Congratulations! :-)

Thank you so much for letting me know your satisfaction and for your *great* words about my tutorials: both the things are the best reward!

    ^_^

  • Have you followed this tutorial?

Are you satisfied with the result?

Please, let me know your impressions and opinions... being in touch with you all is a great reward, to me!

    :-D

  • Thanks to you u rock!!

  • @FreeToVideo

Thanks *to you*... you rock too!

    :-D

  • That's how i learn in my primary school! I have difficulty making it for the open day because i wasnt fond of origami x( Now u posted the videos i saw i became an origami addict :DD

  • @FreeToVideo

These are the things that always make me smile!

It means so much, to me, to know that my tutorials actually help people out there learning origami (for projects at school, for example) and make them grow a passion for this art!

    :-D

Haha, yeah, origami is quite addicting!

    ^_^

  • nicely done! Thank you! :)

  • @EdenSophieAurora19

Thanks to you for stopping by and so nicely commenting!

    :-)

  • Hi, everybody!

    Hola a todos!

    Ciao a tutti!

Here I am, cordially inviting you to let me know your opinion about this tutorial... and to even ask me for advices, explanations and such about any step you need, in case!

Thank you for being there! ^_^

    Dan

  • Thank you so much!I made it on my first try! This tutorial was WAY better than any of the other ones I've seen! You're amazing at origami! :)

  • @omg5144034025

You don't even imagine *how much* your words make me happy and reward me!

Because, really, since I've begun to make these tutorials I've tried to do my best to make them clear and easy to follow and slow enough...

    THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH!

Oh, and... *congratulations* for making it on your first try: having the finished origami in your hands is great!

But me, I've only given the instructions... *you* have made it, with your hands, your will, your patience and your skills!

    :-D

  • Hello, everybody!

Thanks to you for your kindness... and peace to you in return!!!

    :-)

  • How sweet! Can't wait to make this. Thanx dear...great job :-)~

  • @imtiaz817

    Thank you so much, imtiaz817... you're such a smile-giver!

    :-)

    P.S.

    Have a happy origami time!

    ^_^

  • your video is great

  • @meteopegasus1

    Your words are great too!

    :-)

  • nose no me vacila

  • @diegochaveztk

It's your opinion and I respect it.

  • dude.

honestly, you saved my life xD

this rly helped me, thanks ^__^

    great tutorial .-.

  • @AlexRmX4Europe

Wow! I'm really, really *happy* to have had the chance to help you!

Thanks to you in return, for letting me know your satisfaction with such kind words and for letting this day of mine begin with a smile!

    ^_^

  • @danbergam haha,

    I wanted to make a present ^__^

and didn't know what to make, and the usual paper flower was kinda lame :\

but this one looks awesome :]

my day began with a smile too :D ..after half an hour of 'paper-work' xD

    no prob :)

  • @AlexRmX4Europe

I'm sure who will receive this present from you will be delighted: not only because it's a nice one... but also because you made it with your own will, patience, hands... and skills too: and this makes the present even more precious!

    ^_^

  • @danbergam you can say that again :)

    thanks ^__^

  • 5:43 Quake ;)

  • @czesiofan

    8-O

I never realized that, but now that you make me notice it...

    8-D

    ...that's amazing!

    ^_^

  • retarded

  • @clubmonkey315

Maybe you think you're a winner, because of your insult towards me... the problem is that an insult like that, without a real motivation and/or explanation, sounds absurd and senseless.

    Apart from that.

What do you think you're building, with an attitude like that?

What kind of world are you building, in that way?

Are you making the world a better place for yourself and for who will come after you?

Please, do a favour to yourself and think about it.

  • Congratulation, you explain very very well!Thank you very much

  • @vilainpetitcrapaud

Thank you, thank you very much: your words are so rewarding to me!

    :-DDD

  • that's what I call goddamn 'step by step' instructions! hard to find these days. kudos!

  • @jjohnson1337

    Ok.

So, I want you to know that so far this day hasn't turned out as a really good one for me, but you know what?

I open the page, I read your words... and suddenly a smile pops up on my face, despite how unpleasant was the day and upset my mood before of it... and that's priceless and it's just because of you!!!

Kudos and many thanks to you in return!

    :-D

  • how do you make it colored on the inside :(

  • @legendaryone696

Don't know whether or not I exactly got your point... anyway: you should begin with a square of paper colored on both its sides...

  • its so frustrating to watch im really sorry.... maybe adding music?

  • @sj1220

...but if I added some music you don't like you'd end finding frustrating to listen to it!

Each person has its tastes: it's *impossible* to satisfy all of you, hence I don't even try.

    Think.

You're maybe watching this from your computer... it has:

    1) a hard-disk with your fav mp3s

    2) a CD player

    3) an internet connection able to play online radios

And because it's multi-tasking, while watching my vid you can listen to whatever music you want in one of those three ways!

  • @danbergam maybe even if you added your own voice? explaining along with the words may help... its upto you in the end i was just making suggestions... your doing a good job tho keep up the good work!!!!

  • @sj1220

Don't worry, it's your sacrosaint right to make suggestions and give opinions!

    ^_^

Adding my voice with spoken explanations wouldn't be easy: English isn't my first language and while I think I can explain a step by writing it down I guess I would have hard times trying to record a vocal explanation going along with the each step... origami terminology, you know.

Also, mute tuts are my style: still, I'm always ready to give written explanation of steps, whenever someone need it.

  • @danbergam but that square base doesn't work with every tpype of paper right?

  • @jonykleko

Well, I'm not an expert... but in my humble opinion it should work with almost any kind of paper: though, I'd say some types (harder/softer, thinner/ticker) may require some addictional strength/delicacy.

  • @danbergam

    No biggie ;)

  • @jjohnson1337

    ^_^

  • great but more a origami for 'slow thinking people'.....

  • @Kiralike

    Thank you!

    "Slow thinking people"?

What about "never having done origami before people", instead?

When I made this tutorial I was just at the beginning!

    ^_^

  • Wow! You are an amazing teacher when it comes to origami. You anticipate all the problems a person may run into while making each fold, and you don't go too fast. My flower turned out PERFECT the first time!!! Thank you so much, and please, please post many videos on origami folding--you are a master at your craft! THANKS!!!

  • @schumanncello

    :-D

You're too kind, I'm not a master at origami for sure and my videos (especially these very first ones) could be way better... still, when I made them I was just a beginner (non that now I'm that expert, haha! ;-D) and I think I was better able to walk in a beginner's shoes and to try my best to make the whole thing clear!

Don't know what part of the merit goes to me... but, for sure, you've put your will, patience and skills in order to succeed!

    Congratulations and thank you!

  • i tried making this ....it turned up with only 2 leaves instead of the four

  • @blackout427

Hmmm... maybe the other two ones have remained inside, rather than outside, for some reason?

I can't say, right now, where something went wrong, whether in the frog base (lesson 3) or in this part... but I think you should try, if possible, to follow the steps backwards, until you find where the figure in your hands differs from the one I show in the video!

  • @danbergam thanks

  • I learned how to make this in the 6th grade. Almost 20 years later and I still remember how to make it!

  • @ghostexorcist

    That's cool!

  • i hope this isnt hard

  • @kayla34767

In my honest opinion it isn't: it just takes calmness, patience and to not hurry up, at least until you've practiced it!

    ^_^

  • Thanks very much!

  • @789123Y

Thanks to you for your kindness!

    :-)

  • LPM..!!! pero qe buena flor..!!! :O

  • @gustavo087

Sorry, I don't know much spanish... "LPM"?

    Muchas gracias!

  • I used you how to make a frog Episode Lesson 3 Episode and This episode to make a Bulbasaur It is okay i had to cut part of this thing off and tape it to the back. But My frog has no more hoppy in him ^.^.

  • @whoami12100

    8-O

I had never thought about an origami Bulbasaur made up by putting a frog and an iris... but now that you make me think about it... that's genius!

Really, congratulations for coming up with something so effective... and thank you for letting me know!

    :-)

  • @danbergam Hah your welcome But he doesnt have anymore hoppy in him xD It might not work at first but you just have to keep trying ^.^

    :-D

  • Umm bad vid thumbs down maybe you should of showned how to make the frog base =_=....

  • @985steven

...or, maybe, you should have noticed a few things...

At 0:14 the title: Lesson #4.

At 0:38 the subtitle: Frog base (see lessons #1, #3)

It's obvious that lessons #1, #3 contain the previous parts! One may find them browsing in my origami tuts playlist or in my vids!

Also, in my tutorials' descriptions the links to previous parts are always written!

Finally, below this video it's written:

"This is a video response to ...and Origami for all - 03 - The Frog Base".

  • thanks :) oho i make it by my self today, really good lessons :) thanks

  • @shadow7385

I'm so sorry, I haven't seen your comment till... now!

  • OMG Sweet So Cool I Showed It To My Bro And He Now Watches And Makes Your Origami Stuff Thanks!~~

  • @CommentandSubscriber

Origami is really a quite poetic thing... sometimes challenging, but so rewarding... and meaningful, on so many level... and kinda magical, too!

    ^_^

So, I wish a great origami time to both you and your brother!

Thanks to you, for so nicely commenting and for putting a smile on my face!

First of all, congratulations for making it: because me, I've only given the instructions but *you* have actually done it, with you will, patience, and skills!

In second place, thank you so much for letting me know your satisfaction and for your very great words!

    :-D

  • if ya dnt mnd r u a mute

  • @symonegaga

Don't worry, no problem at all, it's a legitimate doubt!

    ^_^

    The fact are that:

    1) English is not my first language

    2) origami has a very specific terminology

    3) I'm not that good at origami and, to me, it takes concentration

Put these things together and you'll find why I never talked in these tutorials (so far).

I could eventually prepare and record a comment after filming... but I guess that mute tutorials has become my own style... so I don't know...

    ^_^

  • This is great! Thank you! It's not too slow and not too fast. Just right!

  • @Sithean

I just want you to know how much your words are precious to me: because making these videos at the right speed as always been one of my main goals!

That's why your words are so rewarding to me, thank you so much!

    :-)

  • @danbergam - You are most welcome. =) Your videos are wonderful, and as I said - JUST RIGHT! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with the rest of us. Bless you!

  • @Sithean

Thanks to you in return, for sharing *your* talent, one of the most rare and precious ones on this world: the ability to kindly put a smile on people faces!

    :-D

  • @Sithean

    P.S.

May the good Lord bless you too!
