When I "comb" my hair out I always use the denman vertical (about 1/3? of the tip portion) Rather then horizontal less damage that way. Otherwise i use it as a pic (quick gentle pulls) just to fluff it out and separate the hair. Or both "pic" then "comb" depending on how tangled my hair is or the look I'm going after.

most conditioners with a ton of slip have a bunch of silicone in it, which builds up on my hair and coats it. plus i dont skimp on conditioner ever, so id rather use a lot.
Great Video! The glitter probably came from the conditioner. I have a different type shescentit conditioner and it has glitter in it too. Hope this helps. :-)

Use a wider tooth comb. It helps with detangling.
