  • Sorry Eric, you don't come close.

  • Nicely done. You have a great understdingmofmRobert Johnson's music and the talent to bring it to your guitar. Nice singing as well.

  • love it some great work here

  • P.S. So nice that you are singing now! :)

  • OMG Jim! I wondered where you were! Now you just need to do The Stumble and Dying Crap Shooter's Blues! So you aren't in California anymore?

  • great work......

  • Not bad man, I am really getting into Robert Johnson here lately and learning to play some of his songs I think I am going to have to get me one of those kind of guitars. Nice job for real!!

  • oh man!!! your are really somethin'...!! congrats!!

  • Damn fine playing James! Perhaps the best I've heard since RJ himself.

  • You are incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pick it, brother! Mighty fine...!

  • Brilliant !!

  • You, my friend, are excellent.

    Thank you.......

  • excellent

  • James, got to tell you.......you just knocked me off my chair. As an old classic blues lover, I compare anyone playin RJ to the man himself. Well, that's why I'm liftin myself off the floor right now !! Man, you are one cool dude ! Love your playin and singin. How bout some Bo Carter, Big Bill or any of the other guys? Just a thought.

    Keep em commin though.....

  • 1st time i seen ya!!it's them notes that keep u comin back......you tight ,them tones si badass ,thanks for the gift.

  • Nice playing - Great rhythm and timing!

  • He´s got more technique and maybe more knowledge about the instrument, but of course I prefer Robert Johnson, cause he goes straight to the point.

  • Players like myself perform these songs because we love the music and want to keep it alive. It would naive or foolish to think that we are approching the quality of the original recording. James

  • AWESOME!!!

  • If I closed my eyes I can pictured Robert Johnson singing this song about Racism/murder/Lynching, sodomizing slaves, African voodoo black magic awaiting at the dark crossroad in the South Delta highway, whilst R.J. walking alone at night clenching his guitar case tightly in his clammy hands wondering if he's gonna get killed by some crazed KKK, redneck type waiting for him..

  • Love the driving guitar.Soulful singing, too. And that Tri-Cone looks SO cool!

  • Very nice. Great stuff.
