  • ALL THIS IS , ITS CLEAR PLASTIC WITH LIGHTS IN SIDE THE CLEAR PLASTIC,How is this impresive?

  • @mystic81006 .. Sorry but i will have to correct you on that....Do you know what OLED is? Not LED...Organic LED.....Look it up...it is several sheet layers of etc etc.....and it will be Flexible and very very thin when they can get it perfected on the HDMI TVs...so far they can get the red and green to last longer but Blue is limited to around 5000 hours before it fails.....and one manufacture but a 20 something inch on the market and it was over $7000.00 so a 50inch would be over $30,000.00..

  • @sircody08 OLED IS PLASITC,ITS A FORM OF PLASITC,SO LIKE I SAID MY FRIEND WHY IS THIS IMPRESIVE?They can put a one million dollor price tag on it and it is still just plastic to me.

  • tony stuck was here

  • @deadsmile2011 stark?

  • It's faker then your's girlfriend orgasm.

  • sauce plz

  • @MrHaxorer It is an electroluminescent display by Planar Embedded.

  • OLED screens would be perfect for HUDs, imagine them places such as your car or even on your windows at home

  • @yourma2000 Or maybe your Iron Man suit.

  • but the question is. will it blend?

  • can they use that for the cars?

  • They could indeed. Would be cooler still if they integrated these into parts of the windscreen (around the edges so that it's unobtrusive, probably on the driver's side edge, i.e. left or right depending on which side the driver sits on).

  • Some Saab cars has this

  • I need this in my camaro

  • it should have the whole front window with this but just in the corners like a regular car

  • so get a few layers of this one and 3d will look muuuch better ;)

  • Cool , I'm wating for the marriage of transparent OLED and foldable OLED, perfect augmented reality devices !

  • OMGHOWDOESTHATWORK!?!?!

  • omg that was cool in ther car in the window

  • Finally we're in 2010 guys!

what's happening; where is this thing?!

    were are holograms

Most of the new prototype technologies FAIL and suck

  • Where can I buy?

  • the sooner we have Holograms the better how badass would it be to have a floating square box in your living room that changed colors and ou could walk through.. Id buy it

  • This shit is the biggest fucking joke I have ever seen. Its simply an oversized led blinkie. I bet its only controllable in two points, either all the numbers or the useless bar graph acting as a monochrome rainbow of uselessness.

  • Perfect! I Love it. :)

  • I want a computer monitor like this... Even though that would probably turn out really oddly.

  • @agentdarkboote Search youtube for samsung transparent OLED laptop.

  • It would be cool to have that in the windscreen of you car.

  • No it wouldn't. You'd have to constantly change focus between the windscreen and the road ahead. This would be mostly annoying, possibly dangerous.

Airplanes have HUDs that use a projection system that is focused to infinity so the pilot doesn't have to change focus all the time. Without that it would be useless.

  • And what are you doing when you check your speedometer? Right, you change focus.

It's true that something like in the video would be annoying but it doesn't have to be that big and bright and could possibly be dimmed automatically.

Why not placing it in the area where you can only see the hood?

  • @derrenegat So, you are saying that when you look at your Instruments in your car, moving your head/eyes down is not dangerous, and not annoying? i think technology has always meant a change in our regular behavior, but we as humans get used to it!

  • @MrRedRooster Some cars do have this feature, some cars have a laser projector on the dashboard and it projects the Speed and other things

    on the windscreen

  • @MrRedRooster I think a couple new cars have this. like in the corner to indicate oncoming objects and stuff im not sure. I saw something like in in a commercial

  • @MrRedRooster I think that is the point =)

  • @avatarelite My comment is over 9 month old and at that time there was no car available with inscreen technology. Like Icemoney22 stated... I've seen that in a commercial aswell.

  • @MrRedRooster When I was in training in 2005 my instructor had a pontiac that had it. It was the first time I had seen it. So it's def been around since then. I'm not correcting, just informing. I'd hate for you to be at a dinner party and say " They've only been around for about a year " . :: Awkward faces :: <3

  • @TheTechAdmin

Those technically were being projected to the windshield. What is displayed is a true OLED, where the light is coming from within the glass...

  • @Placid09 I understand that. But they are not marketing it properly. You don't show off your new gamer pc by playing solitaire. And that's basically what they're doing.

I think it would be better placed in areas we would never imagine a display being.

Like on a beer mug or something. Clothing, entire buildings, etc...

  • @TheTechAdmin

Just gotta give them some time I guess, this is still bleeding edge tech, despite the fact that it's finally coming to market. I saw some videos from CES 2010 of an oled screen on an ID, and in a passport. It's a bright world we're getting closer to everyday!

  • @MrRedRooster

wow! yeah that would be totally awesome have a interface like in wipeout pulse game for PS3 I would be totallyfreaked out!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrRedRooster this isnt new!!! bmw 5er and the corvette have that over 3 years!!!

  • @MrRedRooster The New "Saab" Versions have this technology on their screens it shows you speed and so on. its rly cool.

  • @MrRedRooster Some cars do, Higher end ones. but i am sure you could make something similiar to it.

  • @CoolConejo that's just a projection system, in this case the glass itself is emitting light.

  • @MrRedRooster never though about that

  • @MrRedRooster Peugeot 3008 has this.

  • @MrRedRooster some Saab car has speedometer in the windscreen but I guess it works with some laser projector or something

  • @MrRedRooster camaro 2012

  • @MrRedRooster BMW does indeed have this in the windscreen of their upper clas cars (i think lamborgini has this too)

  • @DathCoco Yeah, but it's projected on the windscreen, I belive. This is different. Now, my question is.. Where's Transparent Retina ? Apple sucks!

  • Looks like Rebel Base command displays from Star Wars

  • genial ich will so eins haben
