WOW...its quite lag...I dont know whether I should get the game now or wait until I get a better PC.

My PC stat right now are:

-Window XP Pro SP2

-AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 4200+ (2.2Ghz haven't clocking yet)

-2GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM

-512MB DDR2 Nvidia Geforece 8500GT

will my gameplay be that lag too?

your stuff is fine you may wanna Overclock your CPU a little, but that's up to you, but you don't NEED to. but get a new GPU for you I'd say get a 9600GT.

I havent had any problems with drivers at all :) well as it costs like 69$ now i guess it is.. but i would buy the 4850 instead :D

Heck no man, that graphics card can take up to high settings but I would not go any higher than that. The rest should handle it pretty well though. I would go with the GTX 280 or the HD4870 for all high settings.

it should, it has 140 stream processors. if only more games were made for ATI, try pairing up another 2600 and crossfire them and see the difference :D $80 to get 30 FPS in crysis maxed

It is PCI express and i can tell you this i am surprised of the performance of my old p4.. but that cpu is history now :p I got a amd athlon x2 4800+ 2.4ghz 2600xt 512mb (PCI-E) 1gb and a 10 year old 6gb harddrive!. running at 1024x768 all medium (water:high ; sound:high) i got an average of about 30fps. But i never got time to try out high but i guess it will land at about 20fps.. Will order a new harddrive and 1gb more ram on 17th july! my birthday ftw. peace out!

Hopefully you mean/meant a 60GB harddrive and not a "6GB" harddrive as you stated several times in your comments.... because Windows XP alone needs 3GBs for SP1 ....and Crysis needs 7GB's...... so I'm PRETTY sure that is PRETTY impossible not to mention anything else on your hDD with JUST "6GB".

well first of all you should get atleast 1gb more ram. and as i need to do we both need to get a c2d or a quad core :) hmm the freeze lag is probably your memory, could be your harddrive aswell not sure though. and you probably should get a fan on your gfx as well :p peace out!

Because of my processor and my ram i got 1gb 332mhz or something original from HP and i got 1 gb 667mhz XMS2 so my XMS2 is the same speed as the Hp memory :( that is almost all the reason for all the lag in the beginning :p

I have the 2600XT HD (256mb) and I get a steady 60FPS on everything medium with a 2.4 Athlon and 2 gig's of ram. It's a great card, I wonder why you can only get up to 40fps.

u will have performance problems if u go to levels like "core" , "paraside lost" and the last one , u prob will have to change ur settings to medium or even low to stay playable

i think 8800GT is the best card to get if you can afford it. very good value imo. pretty sure wiv geforce 8800GT you can play mostly high settings with decent frame rate.

hes lagging cuz hes recording with fraps or watever software hes using. and its NOT impossible. I have pretty much the same exact specs as him, video card and all and I also average about 25 fps. Actually, I run it with the dx10 hack so I have shaders on very high and the game still runs good. so again, its not impossible. Ill have a video up soon just to prove it.
