  • This is first blood part 2. He just got done rescuing the POW's from vietnam in this one. Rambo 3 is where he fights the Russians in Afghanistan

  • Everytime I watch Rambo I cry I love it so much!

  • one of the greatest lines in movie history.

  • conteston el muchacho

  • Hey thats not the music right its been awhile but I really dont think thats the music

  • Think twice before asking your soidiers for a WAR and, if so, make sure they get the best equipments.

  • I prefer the music thats in this scene not this music this music tries to down play the seriousness of what he is saying

  • TRUE !!!!!!!!!

  • Rambo: I want for our country to love US as much as love IT !!

Colonel: Uhhhh, John......I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon. What ELSE do you want ? Want a banana split ? A new tie, maybe ? I can set you up with my cousin Bertha. She has a really nice personality.....

  • What i dont get i how come as americans we dont listen to this guy. The soldiers didn't start this war, and even if you dont agree with the war, at least be kind to them. Thats what we need to improve on in the USA. Go Rambo

  • He's not criticizing the U.S. per se. Just the politicians.

Can't wait for Rambo V. Rambo brings the war back home. Shit is going to be EPIC!

  • I wonder if it really will be about the housekeepers/his long lost daughter going missing in Mexico. That sounds like an interesting plot to me, but I do understand why they didnt use it for Rambo 4

  • well said...

  • Patriotism is the virtue of the wicked, according to Oscar Wilde.

  • I love it, and i love America.

  • he is such a man that rambo. Let that be a lesson to the USA. Care for your soldiers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "John Rambo (having supplied weapons to the Taliban) defends their actions and right to self-determination."

    That's Rambo 3 not 2.

  • Wow wow... These Freedom Fighters were Not Taliban...The same fighters turned into Taliban in like the 90's

  • he's my all-time hero!

  • I'm not American, but they've always been taught to be patriotic since childhood, and to love their country. Just like alot of other countries, e.g. Japan.

  • Priceless comment.

  • Yeah, Rambo was the head of the Al-Quaeda operations.

  • Rockys speach IS better

  • jewish polotics? you are absurd. i see you've listened to hitler a little too much and rambo and rocky may be italian-americans but they are still AMERICANS and thats what counts in the end, one nation under god

  • I LOVE RAMBO

  • stallon is the best acton hero for ever an his speech still rocks

  • LOL some of the worst acting ever.

  • Short, but Brilliant. I love My country.

  • rambo can out-man anybody

  • Hell yeah, even Chuck Norris

  • Haha, funny, now stop it before he ears you

  • heyhey lets not go crazy!?!

  • We Love You Soldiers!!!

    Love,

    USA

  • That was pretty good, he'd make a great batman.

  • lol, this is so funny...

but he looks much better in Rocky Balboa, and his speech to his son... He progressed a lot.

  • Rocky's speech is better

  • ya lol, in that movie they play the impossible quiz song in it like 3 times

  • Stallone is the man!

  • Because you want to look cool to us youtube surfers, "as if" these scence are bullcrap.

But you know what? Those speeches are great.

You just got my boot up u'r ass.

Sorry, thats just the way it goes.

    Next!

  • Sir, I uploaded this to YouTube for people to laugh at. We really do no act like this in the Western World.

  • LOL you got ownd by the vid owner!

  • YES!!! RONALD REAGAN 4EVER!!!

  • Ronald Regan forever. RIP.

  • meatbizzal, yes yes you are the best ! I think what americans need is a bit of modesty. Be more humble. US is a country full of good things in term of cinema, music and so on... but what i dislike is they have this strong idea to be the most powerful and be the best. What they is sometimes good and sometimes bad, just like every country, every people, they are just human being.

  • im a proud and true american, and i say that yeh america is a little arrogant but we have something every other country doesn't have, whether for better or worse, and that is a dream, that you can do anything if you try and that is the AMERICAN dream

  • u hate us because were the best everyone hates the best and the best's allies besides u probley think of how our culter is meaning less but by god everything we do has a purpose u wonder what the world would be like if we left our allies in ww2 without support then we would b a nazi world a shit place

  • You're right about WW2.

But what exactly are Americans the best at?

  • Except perhaps punctuation.

  • You wouldn't even been in the war if the japs didn't bomb you first.

  • Haha very funny

  • This is so true. My uncle was a Marine in Vietnam. He had been called a "babykiller" when he returned. He never did anything wrong over there. Every time he hears Stallone's words in this scene, he cries. He just can't help it.

  • lementis youre just jealous you dont live in the us

  • umm, first of all, it was Stallone, himself, that considered Rambo and Rocky to be American heroes. Rocky for persueing the American Dream, and Rambo for fighting for OUR American dreams. Doesn't matter what race or ethinicity you are. America is the melting pot. Second, with that kinda attitude you have, sterotyping a group of people, we have wars.

  • whoa hey fuckhead so you hate America big deal but don't bring the Jews in this they don't want fucking trouble its dicks like you that make America suck

  • possibly one of the top 10 actors ever

  • it used to be the greatest.

  • What we want is bOObs !

  • mitico!

  • wow, Stallone looks really young...he is an under rated actor, he deserves more.

  • Rambo is the greatest hero of all time and I wish people would love America as much as Rambo does.

  • ROFL.

  • Yeah? He must've been speaking about the men who've fought, and died for their country in Vietnam. Same thing should be said about the men who are fighting, and dying for their country in Iraq.

  • You're right. Our soldiers are heroes wherever they fight, though neither of the wars have made the world a better or safer place.

  • Greatest hero? Search Joshua Chamberlain. Search the real Custer. Real heroes are even better, though I salute your love of the good Rambo portrays.

  • whats up with the background music thats not from the movie....kinda killed it

  • It's Peace in our Life by Sylvester's brother Frank, and features in the OST to the film.

  • This scene always makes me cry.

  • They followed their direct orders given by the people they elected. So its the people who voted for their presidents should be blamed. Not the soldiers who died for nothing with out a complain. Atleast one brave man speak about it here. Dats why i love Stallone.. Der could be many good actors than him. But no one gave such a strong image that last for ever. His gift is RAMBO. And no one will ever forget Rambo even long after the death of all of us.

  • Rambo set up standard for a lot of heroes of our time in asia. Da shit thing is, western countries hate their army when the papers say something. But we love our boys who goes for war no matter what the cause is. We don't care what they do or how they do. But they are greater than any of those asses who sit there and blame them. I heard that americans spit on the soldiers when they returned from vietnam war. Retards.

  • good title MOTIVATIONAL SPEECH good movie rambo x100pre

  • the SAS and The Marines are both elite forces and are fighting over nothing to protect our counties and familys and he hate them for it because we dont understand.

  • Untill you've been a Marine (RMC - which is British) as I was, you can't really understand where the Rambo premise is coming from. A Marine and a Solider are two different things. Almost anyone can join the army, but The Royal Marines are a cut above. Most recruits fail. It's hard, it's tough and you need to be a bit mad to do it.

That's what the Rambo thing is about - once a Marine, always a marine. A focus, an aggression is instilled in you. You can kill without thinking. That never goes.

  • hes saying if u watch part 1, that the country disowned him and that he saw soo much violence he couldnt take it. rambo was a ego-maniac green beret bit more than a soldier. the tale is that in rambo 2 the freeing of pow's was a sham so america doesnt set up a new campaign to get them back due to public out cry. watch it u find out. its true of today a soldier should earn more than footballer and a boxer a month dont u agree !

  • mate i wouldnt say that being a marine makes you 'elite'. If you were talking about the SAS then its a different story but dont get too full of urself

  • are you in the SAS? What background do you have to say something is better then another. Of course Marine is above Army... they get shot at before MOST ppl know that their own country is at war.

  • Hold your horses..Stallone is a successful actor, do you reaaly think you are better than him? Many liked him then and still many like him now.

  • I think I could be. I think his worst acting was in the remake of Get Carter - you can clearly see that he has no idea what the film is about.

  • Get Carter? What I remember was MIchael Caine not Stallone. 'you sure he did a remake?

  • Yes, there was a remake in about 1998 set in LA.

  • What happened to that face?

Stallone really bashed it with steroids

  • he had like a stroke or something when he was a little boy possibly a baby i forgot got it form wikipedia but one side of his face is sort of paralized

  • ...umm... yeah... deffinately not going on my fav list

  • lol.

  • One of the Greatest scenes, by one of the Greatest actors, of All Time....

  • Corny... Rocky was a far better series.

  • I definitely agree.

  • so let us send him to iraq lol

  • A single tear just rolled down my cheeck...

  • Not too over the top.

  • please sen me the letter of THE BRIDGE

  • What I want? I want this movie to love us, as much as we love it!

  • I also loved this movie - and still do. Its my favorite. Saw it 5 times in the theather back in 1985. And the music in this movie (by Jerry Goldsmith) is the best music ive ever heard.

  • RAMBO!!!

  • Nothing against Sly/John. He was my idol when I was a teen and I love his movies for more than 20 years now. But in this special scene he was absolutely overstrained in acting - the dialogue wasn`t that bad, but his performance unfortunately was!! That`s why nobody ever took this dramatic scene serious!!^^

  • jive turkey

  • yeah

  • i loved this movie so much when i saw it as a kid.
