You got the wrong idea of what bouncer do then.. A nightclub is not like fighting one on one in a boxing ring.
Also there is no guaranetee that the drunk patrons will "fight one on one " either -- you alway have to be careful of his mates who make jump in and king hit you,

In my younger days I've worked as a bouncer and most of it is in the head, not the muscle. If you actually talk to ppl and not try to escalate the situation, that's the best call. But if someone is boing a douchebag, then obviously it's better to toss that person out. And definately you don't have to be like 250 pounds to be a bouncer. In fact the best ones I've worked with were all under around the 190 to 210 range.

The guy tried tapping to say release to which he replied "this ain't the UFC bitch!" Good guys if you ask me. Don't know about these guys though.
