  • Even months later, this still makes me smile.

  • Rev Billy is a great guy and I can't wait to vote for him. Look for Billy Talen Nov 3rd!!

  • totally voting for him

  • Thank god for Reverend Billy! You have my vote!

    Save New York!

  • This is no joke. he submitted over 18,000 signatures to get on the Ballot. he only needed 7500.

  • I hope this is a joke, dont fucking vote for a reverend

  • he's not a real reverend, he's a long-time activist

  • is this a joke?

  • Kudos to Rev. Billy. We need more politicians like him. Obama has proven the bakruptcy of the Republicrats.

  • HAHAHA! IS THIS SERIOUS?? I feel like I am watching a Borat character. People in this city are insane if they think that this guy knows anything about running a Popsicle stand let alone a city. Ok David Koresh...please don't put cyande in the city water.

  • See my video HOW TO PETITION for tips on getting signatures.

  • Absolutely exhilarating!!

Make New York the first city of REAL change!!!

  • i wouldnt vote for you ina million years.

  • he's a reverend.... common sense isn't exactly his strong point.

  • ahhhh

  • hahahaha, that was funny, ... and that is why our economy sucks, because of the greedy, ... "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" woohoo !

  • This guy is absolutely hilarious. Typical narrowminded simplicity that is just refusing to accept progress. This guy gets elected and I'm moving out of NY. His song proves him and his followers to be nothing more than your typical socialists. "Start spreading the wealth." What a moron. How many people does a small pharmacy employ? 4? maybe 5? A Walgreens or Rite-Aid will employ at least double that so there's 5 more people earning a living. Way to go Billy! Get a degee in economics first, mkay?

  • Perhaps you missed the Wall Street Journal's article "Reverend Billy's bailout". Here's what WSJ writer David Weidner had to say: "Basic economics are on the Reverend's side. For every dollar spent at a chain store, studies show only 50 cents stays in that community. By contrast, 90 cents of every dollar spent at a local business remains in the local economy."

  • That was great. Thanks. We gotta fight to keep NEW YORK, NEW YORK

  • good luck

  • If you like Reverend Billy Talen's message, go to his website (in description box) and donate! If you live in NYC, your donation will qualify the campaign for 8-1 matching funds. Change-a-lujah!

  • Look after the true spirit of New York. VOTE REVEREND BILLY

  • pssst... the world is watching, even Australians are talking about what a breath of fresh air and beacon of hope Mayor Talen will be to New York City.

... "Mayor William Talen", has a nice ring to it ay?

... beauty bonza Billy! go Billy go!

  • I wish I was a New Yorker now so I could vote in Billy Tallen!

  • Me, too. From Florida.

  • Me, three. From Utah.

  • 500 neighborhoods that are looking for somebody that doesn't treat New York as a business. Where is the love? Right here baby!!! Vote for REVEREND BILLY TALEN FOR MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY!

  • There is no doubt about it!!! Reverend Billy is the man for the people. Not Mayor No Lips Bloomberg or Wimpy Bill Thompson!!! Reverend Billy will save New York from the corporate BigBoxers and CondoLovers!!! Enough is enough!!! Sure, It's going to be a David vs. Goliath fight. But guess who has the slingshot and the aim to take them down? Vote RevBilly Now!

  • This is beautiful! Thank-you!!! You give us courage to work for the everyday people in our neighborhood.

  • well done billy,

i think it is even important for non new york residents from all over the world to get behind this campaign, as any break through there can help with our neighbourhoods here and elsewhere in the world,

    paul, UK

a mayor for PEOPLE, and not another mayor for money

  • I am with you Billy! All the way!!!! Oh, now I am so excited to vote this year!

  • Agreed.

Living in Honesdale, PA, which is a retirement area for NYC workers and former residents, I can see the good that Bill Talen could do as Mayor.

The Democrats and Republicans have enslaved our souls and sold us up the proverbial river. We do not have enough manufacturing jobs to make items to fill the big boxes that go to the big box marts to pay our own people to shop there. Flip the White House over, and you'll probably find a "Made in China" stamp on it.

  • Reverend Billy - we need you in AUSTIN, TEXAS!!! CVS, SUBWAY, TARGET, and OFFICEMAX are taking over the town. We're fighting the good fight and people like you give us hope that it's making a difference!! REVEREND BILLY FOR NYC MAYOR!!!!

  • Oh YES!!!!!!

    Here is our neighborhood salvation.

We will not be forgotten On east 5th Street.....

    Cheers for Rev Billy!!!!!

    Keep Singing!

  • Rev Billy is the people's candidate. He is voice for the voiceless. He is the conscience of the City. Rev needs to read a page from the Kinky Friedman campaign. But he needs to beef up his public administration skills and start getting some people on his team who actually know how to run things if he should win. Hey! It could happen.

  • KISSSSSSSSSSSES

  • I'm a small person & I know we ALL need Rev. Billy in Gracie Mansion! He, Savitri D & the Church will turn it into a people's place, a commons. No more mansions for rich men to hide their wives from mistresses (or in Bloomberg's case, beards). Let's open the doors for decency and equality for all, i.e. real democracy.

BTW--aren't you sick of Bloomberg's ads all over the place already? Let's prove they can't buy our votes. Rev. Billy Talen for Mayor!

  • They're transforming Manhattan into a suburban mall... The day I saw the GAP plant shop on St. Marks Place I knew that was the end. Welcome Billy, and please, make the shut down of Indian Point a pivotal issue in your campaign!

  • good luck Rev Billy!

  • Good luck in the election, Billy; and send some missionaries over to us here in the UK, we need leadership to challenge the might of Tesco!

  • Good work, Billy. Bring up the volume of the singers so we can hear the words better? Excellent campaign video. Joan

  • Vote Billy!

  • Rev. Billy is the MAN! When a CVS opened in my 'hood (Sunnyside, Queens) where 5 local businesses once stood, I protested... and was the only one. The corporations have poisoned the public's minds, man! We need a change-a-lujah!
