He failed to matchup against centers like Patrick Ewing, Hakeem, Shaq on the Magic, Horace Grant, etc.

Defensively, unless guarding another point guard, that's a little guy's goal. When a center flops, it shows two things: it shows that they can't play defense against their opponent and it shows that they are weak and/or pathetic for being around 7 feet tall and trying to draw an offensive foul on their opponent.

THAT DOESN'T MAKE HIM A GOOD PASSING CENTER! Shaq, who was double, sometimes triple-teamed would know that because he had an extra man on him, he needed to pass the ball to the open man, and he did. Vlade was never double-teamed because no one ever needed to. He wasn't a force of nature like Shaq or even Hakeem was.
