Seit wann darf man denn nicht mehr stolz darauf sein Deutscher zu sein?
Jede Nation macht Fehler und ob man nun Bomben über'm Irak oder Afganistan nieder lässt, jemanden zum Staatsoberhaupt wählt obwohl man weiß, dass der nicht mit offenen Karten spielt oder nen freakigen Österreicher das Steuer überlässt. Das nimmt sich alles nicht viel.
bohr wie mich das immer ankotzt... diese gleichstellung von "deutsch sein = nazi sein" ... oder das unser volk immer mit der vergangenheit in zusammenhang gebracht wird, Die USA fürht seit insgesammt über 200 jahren kriege und bekommen n orden dafür. und ja wir habe nunmal das sagen in europa und wenn die merkel sagt "schnauze halten" dann hält der sarkozy auch die schnauze. wir leben in nen verdammt geilen land und wir dürfen das auch ruhig zeigen nicht nur alle 2 jahre wenn die WM oder EM is.

french tanks --> german soldiers are inspecting or doing whatever with it.... us paras with captured soldiers.. italian stuka --> who built it? aaaand last, for whom did the ostlegion fight? ... so you where curious because of what?
@Chefgott the French tank is a Char 2C, the Germans made sure they bombed them using Stukas before they had the chance to enter battle. They were VERY big tanks, bigger than any of the German ones.

Sry i have no time at this moment for icq, i work at the moment ( videoconverting work ). But if have some questions to me about germany, ask me. I was good in school in german history and know something about german policy. But i dont know much about the britain history, so it could be very interesting for me, too.
I don't know much about British history either. I studied history in primary school a bit (when I was about 6-10 years old) but I didn't study history when I was older.
I've been thinking recently, maybe I should spend less time watching comedy/sci-fi and playing video games, and spend more time watching the discovery channel and reading on wikipedia etc.
I've always had a thirst for knowledge, but I also have a thirst for fun and relaxation =/

I'll have to ask someone who lives near me how voting works. I've never done it before as I only recently became old enough to vote. You'd think they'd teach you a bit about politics at school, but they don't, at least not at the schools I went to.
@Mars19741 I had 5 years history lessons in school in one block. And 5 years economy lessons. I was on a special school for economy and got the highest school competition in it called " Abitur ". In your country its the high school competiton, one step before you will get study.
You learn history in mainstreams schools, but I couldn't cope in those because of my autism, too much bullying, over crowding, shouting and peer pressure. So I didn't go most of the time, and then went to a special school where what you learn is very limited. I did well in science, math and computers, but that's about it. I also took English, art and physical education, but I failed those. Retook English in college and passed.

Watch news and read newspapers. Inform about your parties and what they want to do. Then go voting and hope that your party will win for your interests. And shouldnt they win, wait for the next vote. This is demogracy, you have to accept this vote. But its the only one correct system in policy. And try to learn more about your history, your family and so one. Learn to argue.

You should know something about demogracy, votes, your goverment, how law was made and so on. You should know which political positions are in your goverment, there are diferent ministers and so on. You should know the names of your policy parties and for what they make their policy and so on.

You could say its for every army. But in the lyric there is one text part of nazi propaganda " Wir müssen uns vermehren " We have to increase " in english. I already know that most people are stupid and society is fucked up. But I'm one man, there's nothing I can do to change it.
The way I see it, for every smart person who votes (I'm smart, so if I voted I'd be 1 of them) there's also 5 stupid people voting.

@Mars19741 I had 5 years history lessons in school in one block. And 5 years economy lessons. I was on a special school for economy and got the highest school competition in it called " Abitur ". In your country its the high school competiton, one step before you will get study.

You learn history in mainstreams schools, but I couldn't cope in those because of my autism, too much bullying, over crowding, shouting and peer pressure. So I didn't go most of the time, and then went to a special school where what you learn is very limited. I did well in science, math and computers, but that's about it. I also took English, art and physical education, but I failed those. Retook English in college and passed.

To the video : Very nice picture at the end, the bavarian one :D This is the typical picture or symbol for a german one. But its only a part of germany / Bavaria, but the famost part and culture. The germans " The krauts ", because of " Sauerkraut " :D I'm a little amused about it :D .

@IamLaurieful Sry maybe we have total different school systems. I am german and i learned early in school something about economy and history. After 6 years in school you will learn it. And every person learn it. So i cant believe why he never learned something about this in england.

@gothboy2991 This is good. Inform you with wikipedia, watch TV documentations, read books.
Watch news and read newspapers. Inform about your parties and what they want to do. Then go voting and hope that your party will win for your interests. And shouldnt they win, wait for the next vote. This is demogracy, you have to accept this vote. But its the only one correct system in policy. And try to learn more about your history, your family and so one. Learn to argue.

Sure. I know who Obama is, and who Gordan Brown is, but I don't know their policies. I've never taken an interest in politics, because in my experience all modern polititions are pretty much the same, but I do find it interesting to hear about other poeple's opinions on it :D

@gothboy2991 You are young. In your future policy will get more important for you. But one thing you must understand about policy. You should know something about demogracy, votes, your goverment, how law was made and so on. You should know which political positions are in your goverment, there are diferent ministers and so on. You should know the names of your policy parties and for what they make their policy and so on.

This is song is very full of german propaganda about a tough german army and sounds like Rammstein. For german soldiers it could be a nice song. But its not especialy for the army of second worldwar. You could say its for every army. But in the lyric there is one text part of nazi propaganda " Wir müssen uns vermehren " We have to increase " in english. Its a little bit like " Deutschland braucht Land " , Hitler. Translated : We need more area .
