Standard impreza would have a vRS no problem simply because of the 2.0 T vs the 1.8T and fwd vs 4WD. Being a vRS owner myself i dont really have any problems saying that lol. Allthough if you map the octavia you have a little edge on a standard impreza. I upset a WRX driver earlier. All noise no bark, he looked miffed being done over by a skoda octavia LOL! The octavia still returns me 45mpg on a steady run :)

@RatchetMonkey as a vrs owner myself you cant really say that! you have no idea what that muppets impreza is like, most old impreza's are shit nowadays as the younger gen have got them n have thrashed them to death, so you cant really say that a subaru would have a vrs, it depends on the individual car and on the driver wether a car wins..and i agree with a comment above, colin mcrae and R.Burns will be spinning in their graves, but then these dicks wont know who they are will you guys? x

@16shipton No matter how much you stick up for the skoda, an impreza WILL have you off the mark! My octavia spins up into 3rd. Really annoying with no LSD. A few friends of mine have an impreza 2000 and a WRX STi and off the line, they dont hang about. I admit if you did a rolling start then im sure the outcome would be different. The octavia's are more refined and better built where as the imprezas are more aggressive. I'll go fetch the ladders so you can jump off that high horse of yours..

@13crue because its hard to get the power your runin in a scooby? im guessin youve got somethin about 300bhp-400? your car is lighter, its has more torque and they wernt gunning it.. whack the skoda up to the same spec and weight and stick some fancy 4wd system in, then see whos being mouthy... they use the same engine as the audi s3.. if im right, theyre quite capable of pusshin 800bhp? so, tell me mr amazing mechanic who tuned this scooby up themselves.. ( obviously ) hows is this "shit?"
