I think, Effy has always been that smart, deep character she was at the beggining of Skins, only that the way she had to evolve towards life, and everything isn´t very optimistic, she´s never gonna be with the right person and if she finds him she´s not gonna love him, cos shes like sad, unhappy i mean iknow she was mental & all that jazz but even though her personality is uncapable to see the bright side i think thats why she´s so smart and deep and viceversa... if it makes any sense...

Here are my thoughts:ok,so,even if its hard for us to understand why,Effy's in love with Fred(everybody has made that clear)but she cant live without Cook.She does love him..but maybe not in the same way he loves her(a truly romantic way)From my point of view, she loves him in an even more powerful way,cause she needs him to be herself, but at the same time she cant BE with him, because(using Naomis words to Emily)hes the only person who can ruin her life, because of the hook he has on her

Don't hate me on this, Hanna, but, their relationship, when it comes to love, was onesided. Of course Effy loved Cook, but she wasn't "in love" with him. Freffy didn't work out because of Effy. Because she "couldn't stand the love" in Cook's words. With Cook she didn't have such problem because she didn't really love him that way.

I believe they cared for each other, yes. But they did not love each other. Cook may have loved Effy but Effy only loved Freddie. She felt alright with Cook because that was part of her routine. She was used to that life. But she didn't like it. The reason she couldn't be completely happy with Freddie was because she felt so vulnerable with him, something she wasn't used to. She always took control. Freddie gave her sth far more deep than anything she experienced with Cook. TRUE LOVE.

But you can see that Effy is genuinely herself and is literally happy when she is with Cook. Freddie just tries to change her, make her more mellow. Cook just ACCEPTS her.
I had to comment on this again. I don't even know where to start...it's just hauntingly amazing. Beyond words. It's like a story behind every clips you include. A deep feeling.
You proved once again that vidding isn't just about cutting clips on a timeline and add some music. It's so much more. The voiceovers are outstanding and the whole video is just pure genius. I'm like blown away. So much love and passion. You captured fairly why their relationship isn't onesided. Both love each other.

I loved all the emotion you compiled into this one video. The scenes you choose fit perfectly. I especially liked the fact that they weren't the scenes everyone use in Ceffy vids. The voiceovers were great; loved the repition of Panda & Effy's argument.
You can totally tell that Effy loves Cook just as much as he loves her, but being Effy she tries to mask her emotion the best she can. Luckily, us Ceffy fans know that her love for Cook can't be masked, and you prooved that with this video.
I'm more of a Freffy BUT I never believed for a second Effy didn't love Cook back. It was a very complicated relationship the three of them had. Sometimes I have difficulty with Cook but when he's around Effy I really do love him because HE loves HER and SHE loves HIM. He's his best and his worst around her. *punches Cook in the arm affectionately*

Of course Im not saying that they wasnt epic and tha didnt have all that things, all that chemistry and strong feelings. But Cook really loves her, Cook would die for her and everything and im sure that the feeling isnt the same for both. I wish someday (maybe in the movie *hope*) Effy could love him like really, and they become together and be happy (not that happy lol) but I think she'll have in peace bcause she'll be the person that she really is with him :) They should have a real endgame <3

I think Effy really loved Freddie, thats why she become mad. Really mad. Cook is her friend... she doesnt love him like that. I wish...but she doesnt. They are too similiar, too simples, and she needs something more. A lot more.. but dunno ;)

Don't hate me on this, Hanna, but, their relationship, when it comes to love, was onesided. Of course Effy loved Cook, but she wasn't "in love" with him. Freffy didn't work out because of Effy. Because she "couldn't stand the love" in Cook's words. With Cook she didn't have such problem because she didn't really love him that way.
I have no words for the video. It is mind blowing really. I love your faith in this couple. It pulls emotion out of all your videos about them.:PP

Maybe Kaya & Jack had more chemistry on screen because they were dating at that time. However, the writers gave it to Freffy. I mean it's all over season3&4.

I believe they cared for each other, yes. But they did not love each other. Cook may have loved Effy but Effy only loved Freddie. She felt alright with Cook because that was part of her routine. She was used to that life. But she didn't like it. The reason she couldn't be completely happy with Freddie was because she felt so vulnerable with him, something she wasn't used to. She always took control. Freddie gave her sth far more deep than anything she experienced with Cook. TRUE LOVE.

@dazzleme7 totally agree with that comment actually. For freffy, it felt like they kept tugging at each other. They were never really happy, they just assumed happiness when they are together.
But you can see that Effy is genuinely herself and is literally happy when she is with Cook. Freddie just tries to change her, make her more mellow. Cook just ACCEPTS her.

I had to comment on this again. I don't even know where to start...it's just hauntingly amazing. Beyond words. It's like a story behind every clips you include. A deep feeling.
You proved once again that vidding isn't just about cutting clips on a timeline and add some music. It's so much more. The voiceovers are outstanding and the whole video is just pure genius. I'm like blown away. So much love and passion. You captured fairly why their relationship isn't onesided. Both love each other.

I loved all the emotion you compiled into this one video. The scenes you choose fit perfectly. I especially liked the fact that they weren't the scenes everyone use in Ceffy vids. The voiceovers were great; loved the repition of Panda & Effy's argument.
You can totally tell that Effy loves Cook just as much as he loves her, but being Effy she tries to mask her emotion the best she can. Luckily, us Ceffy fans know that her love for Cook can't be masked, and you prooved that with this video.

I'm more of a Freffy BUT I never believed for a second Effy didn't love Cook back. It was a very complicated relationship the three of them had. Sometimes I have difficulty with Cook but when he's around Effy I really do love him because HE loves HER and SHE loves HIM. He's his best and his worst around her. *punches Cook in the arm affectionately*

I've always loved freffy but I have never believed that the ceffy love was onesided. Cook is just more about the way things effect him than effy.

i commit: i've never been a ceffy-fan during the series. i mean, effy and fred were perfect... but vids about them are so boring to me... but due to your "i would wait for you" i realized how amazing ceffy-vids are... i dont think that they could end up together after fred*s dead, but sometimes the most amazing the relationships are those that never come true. cook was in effys ep purely amazing and eff in cooks ep... hm... i start forgetting me xD

This is amazing.There is no doubt that freddy and effy did love each other but because she was psychotic while together people go on and on about how epic they are If Effy was with Cook, Cook would be seen as a saint, thats why they piss me off.Actually if she was with Cook, he may have been able to help her. Cook had a way with her that Freddy never did.Cook and Effy understand eachother and even if they're with someone else they want eachother.Their relationship is not one sided! Amazing :D

beautiful! i love the scenes you chose--most ceffy videos focus on cook's POV and effy's POV is always the one that's sort of up in the air so this was fantastic.
there is something incredibly unique about your editing, i can't quite put my finger on it. it isn't very effect-heavy but somehow, your use of colors, voiceovers and transitions are so much more emotionally powerful.
