It is hard for me to compare two great films made by the same maker. Each is great in it's own right. Now, if Titanic was being compared to ANY other love movie, this would take the cake hands down. There is no greater love than that of Jack and Rose, two people from two totally different worlds that should have never met, but did. This is indeed the best love story I

Completely copies Book of Days by Enya.

Don't get me wrong, this film and soundtrack are iconic...

But James Horner steals A LOT of hooks and big chunks of tracks from Enyas back catalouge. She kindly said 'No thanks' to being involved in the film when she was asked, but they went ahead and used the music she created anyway.

@intheendgirl Believe me, i love Titanic and it's music is inspirational. However, the songs are just different versions of Enya songs. It's interesting really, because James Cameron was desperate for Enya to make the soundtrack, so to persuade her, he made an example one using her songs. For this part of the film he used Book of Days etc. She still couldn't do it, but when Horner came to making new music, you can't blame him for being inspired by Enya songs, as they had already used them. :)

How does Avatar and Titanic even remotely compare? They are vastly different movies that coincidentally may or may not have similar style tracks in the OST, but i hardly see how that constitutes comparing the quality of film. Titanic is a love story within a terrible tragedy that we'll never forget, and Avatar is a story of a hostile takeover by humans on an alien planet and the Protagonist happens to meet a chick and exchange googly eyes. The focus of each movie is just not even close...
