  • I came across this quote which I like to share with you:

It has been my observation that being beaten is often a temporary condition ; giving up is what makes it permanent.( Marylin Vos Savant)

  • Wiz, such a long time! for quite 15 years now, I've put 2 rules in my mind for the pain:

    - when the day is bad, I've to think tmrw will be better (or not so bad) and when the day is good I say it the whole day and remind it forever.

    - plans for the next days or months have to be not built the bad days.

This 2 rules help me to live and to not think to the fareway future: no need!

you're young, your disability is different from mine, but we're courageous and can find yet some happiness!

  • Thanks everyone. Going to be a while before I can follow any of the work suggestions, spent this morning in the ER. And thanks Jimm, I have to admit it feels more like a war of attrition than victory haha, but I'm a stubborn bastard, and I have more things to do on this planet, so I won't be backing down.

  • Wiz, i remember 1st reading your comments on cody's pad. That long ago! I agree with gary. You show a lot of compassion. Any type of work in a hospital setting, esp with youngsters. Even volunteer, if possible. Hang tough. I know it's hard, but every day you persevere, that's your victory.

  • Forget about pumping gas, Wiz, become a therapist instead. You're pretty good at it. And if it works for you, it'll work for others. I'll do what I can to promote your vid. It's the best you've made.

  • I love when you talk about your experiences, and how you feel. Thanks for sharing your life. ;)

  • I am lucky with a ground floor appartment. No stairs. I havn't seen a 'freind' for about a year now which I am OK with, other people seen to think that I am depressed and unmotivated though I correct them that it is hard to get a job when I keep falling and having seisures. Some people just don't give a toss.

I hang in on life always trying to fix things. I'd rather try and die than die in bed.

I have spent most days in bed my body hurts so much.

    Good luck with that book!
