Great drill Jeremy, We see this drill in variation all the time at all levels of hockey. Pass to an area is great advice. What do you think about F1 Skating off the BL towards the intended pass and then curl to the wall to create gap ?
having F1 skate off the blue line toward the passer works very well - particularly if the pass is slightly behind him, or if he has to "take back ice" to make the timing work properly.
by far the best i have seen on teaching the drills will the video chalk board with the you explaining is amazing
