  • quark makes a very nice mini 123 thats smaller than that even and there preon 2 pen lights are just as awesome as the one your holding . Great review

  • Thanks for the nice in-depth review. Just got the same setup and it works great!

  • Wow, cool to see a fellow flashaholic loving Quark as much as we do, and some of your knives are awesome as well!!! I'm a knife and light addict, & it doesn't help that I live in the NW, about 20 minutes from SOG, & 2 hours from Benchmade. I just got my Titanium Q Mini AA today, and I agree, it's fantastic! about 2 minutes into your video I reached over and swapped out my Eneloop for a AW 14500, WOW!!!!! Did you know your light does strobe, SOS, etc? Turn on... low,med,high,low,med,high,strobe..

  • @geoff538 Always great to hear from another flashaholic. Congrats on the Ti AA purchase! Yessir, the 14500 is just mindblowing, on a light of that form factor! Yes I knew about the special functions, you're more thorough than I am ;) Take care, and thanks for watching - Spydiechick

  • i wanted to get this light but i never got around to it. great review!.

  • Do you know if 4sevens sells a pocket clip that fits this model?

  • @fjfjrfjfjr As far as I know 4Sevens does not sell a clip for this model.

I'm personally thinking about getting a TecP7 Clip however with the nice accessibility and its simplistic look.

  • @spydiechick Might I add that some individuals have noted some pretty creative alternatives. For example, some simply purchase the Fenix LD01 clip (ID: [FX-LD01PC] ) and place that on the Mini AA (costs: $5 USD). It apparently is a tight fit however. I have not tried this but it is worth considering. Cheers

  • Absolutely outstanding review! Wish I had seen this before I went overseas....this would have come in much handier than my Stylus Pro...but there's always next time! You rocked it...nice job, Thanks!

  • @HamBeau That's right, there's always next time! Thanks a lot for tuning in. Hope you had fun in your travels. Cheers

  • nice little bugger!

  • It's kind of interesting that 4sevens says that this torch has a voltage range of 0.9-4.2V. It adds a bit of versatility. According to my calculations though, the Li-ion cells you have give 2.8 Wh while the Eneloop AA cells give 2.4 Wh. If you use the lithium AA cells (L91 primary), you can get about 5 Wh of power which is quite nice. Assuming equal efficiency at all levels (rarely true), you will get the most out of the L91 lithium cells.

  • The 4sevens mini line is such a versatile group of flashlights. Compact and tough, with great f&f, these lights are really worth the money. I own the mini cr2 and 123 and they are perfect little edc lights. I'll have to look at the mini AA with the 14500 power cell. Great review and keep them coming.

  • damnit now i might need to get one of these you should try the maratac AAA love mine...great review as aleays!

  • Useful and fun review. In your demo the Mini AA beam had better color rendering than the AA2's slightly washed-out beam.

Interesting that you mention the [Fenix] LD10. I have been playing with a couple of LD10s. One failed soon after unboxing -- the clicky stopped working and the light wouldn't activate! Unsettling.

The other works well. It is bulkier than the Mini AA. Its advantages are a good pocket clip, and a clicky, which is preferred for defensive use, but a wash for ordinary EDC.

  • @classof77 I love clicky style lights, specially when they are paired with a nice solid clip like you said. Interesting to hear about your experience with the failed LD10s. Yea, I was rather pleasantly surprised at the nice colour rendering the Mini AA provided :) Thanks for sharing, take care.

  • Your review was brilliant, and very thorough. I see the flaw in the on/off function. But the trade offs in performance make it a reasonably minute annoyance. I hope you are happy with your light. 4 Sevens is very good equipment. Thanks so much for the captivating review = ) You rock. ~Wolf

  • @FatDaddy4Fun Thanks for the kind words, I'm a bit late in my reply so please excuse ;) Cheers

  • @spydiechick I am honored...late or not. Keep those incredible reviews coming. ~Wolf

  • @rgv78586 If it were versing the Mini AA in the same XM-L LED that would be a neat comparison for sure, comparing both in their respective 14500 and 16340 cells! :D Can't wait for their future LED releases :)

  • I can tell you're very smart.
