Screwed up as the Justice sytem in the game is, I doubt they will give him death. Self-Defense and all that.

The real problem is Godot having the will to keep living after all this.

@ToonLinkHox There's a story called "Waiting for Godot" where two men stand around waiting for a man who would never show up. Most likely he has that name because he wasn't there when Mia needed him. He never showed up for her. :(

I'm really glad that the cases in Apollo Justice strayed away from the involvement of spirit mediums in the cases. Nevertheless, this is one of the most epic story conclusions I've ever had the pleasure to experience.

The tears of blood is by far the best moment in the entire series. It's rare to capture such emotion in a videogame and I found it breathtaking how well they handled the events from when you began to accuse Godot.

Whenever I think of Phoenix Wright games, I always think of how epic the last cases were in each game and this moment is always the first thing that pops into my head. Beautiful.

I thought it was sad that Godot goes to jail at the end of this game... I was thinking maybe they could have taken it as sort of self-defense but for someone else, the way they made it sound Godot only stepped in when Maya was being stared down by a knife-wielding assailant.

He doesn't just go to jail, he dies. The penalty for murder is death, no less. That's why getting accused is serious business.

Kristoph Gavin doesn't die. Plus; it's justified self defense...err...something like that. If you remember from PW: JFA, the second case, Phoenix thinks out loud that Maya will be branded a murderer for the rest of her life and it will be ruined; something like that. So if we treat Maya the same as Godot, ya know...I don't think he dies. Even if he does, then he's with Mia, and that is happy. No matter what the case, Capcom doesn't give us a definitive answer. Make your own story!

Most likely it is, but the writers of the game can bring him back anyway they want by just saying he was put into jail. I would like to see him brought back. Possibly in a new phoenix wright game that isn't Apollo Justice. I am wondering where they are taking Apollo though, considering Phoenix can become a lawyer again.
