when I didn't think I could have any more respect for Dallas, I stumbled upon this song.

I respect religious people and their "Beliefs," but I really dislike how people can be so ignorant about how their belief is 100% certain to be true. No person on earth has ever known exactly what happens when you die, or how the Earth/Life was created and no one ever will. People really need to stop wasting their time and start living their lives. Saying that God exists is like saying unicorns exist. NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW. Well until they die that is.

I've been really confused about religion lately.. I'm not the type to accept something with no questions asked. The big man in the sky who loves you as long as you get on your knees and give your life to him never sounded right to me. Life shouldn't be all about worshiping a deity we're not even sure exists. This song helped me realize that.

the truth is, all we can do is believe, and have faith that the outcome is what we believe in. in reality, no one can be 100% sure that God is real or a falsity created by man. but i choose to believe that there is something greater than us out there, and i accept the fact that i might not ever know for sure who/what he/she/it is, but i have faith that whatever is out there, it will lead me to a safe place after my departure. thats really all any of us can do.

I've been wondering if/when I'd ever get to hear it since. Thank you for giving me at least a bit of hope that someday we'll get to hear it in its entirety. Apparently it's name is "Young Lovers" right now, however unfortunately it's not ready yet... why tease then? I dunno.

@dingosatemybabies it might be one of the songs that just did not make the cut for this album. if you follow him as closely as i do (which i'm sure you do lol) then you'll remember he said he had about 15 songs ready for an album but was only going to use about ten. I'm sure he will be saving it for the next album. its a great way to keep fans hungry though. you can see how popular the unreleased song is
