ohk so when i have my kinky twist done i put the rods in and i boil a pot of water and i dip it in the pot and i get beautiful curls oho and when you said you dont like the scraglly look i feel it!

No, I have not tried that, but I will try. It's the ends of the twists that concern me the most

Have you tried doing a braidout on your twists? When I wore box braids and wanted a wavy look, I'd plait my hair into big--maybe 12 or so--braids, dip them in hot water, leave them in for a few hours (overnight if possible), and take them down when they were almost dry. It gave that big beach wave effect that's so pretty for summer...and all this talk is making me want to get some twists instead of the tree braids I'm struggling to get done, lol...
