  • no splashes

  • looks good but by now most better processors can do that real time, if this can be done on an 8800 nvidia ought to make a higher res fluid for a 580. anyway, the fluid seems a bit off to me, it seems to be compressing at the beginning.

  • 0:08 Penisattack!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • My bloods NEVER done that

  • Omg this is realtime? Great!

  • The only obvious problem I can spot is that it doesn't conform to boundaries very well.

  • NICE, it DOES look viscous.

  • kinda looks like old pepto bismal

  • this is more like a water based gel not blood

  • *blob* *blob* bloodah!

  • this made my hungry :3 awsome

  • Holy crap, very nice! Best I've seen in a while!

  • wow

  • i'd love to go swimming in that!

  • Nice collection of blood you have there, it would be a shame...

Nah, that is just too evil to be destroyed.

  • Jello :3

  • is look like a.. lava

  • way to go cuda.....cant wait to see those on games...

  • @houdini3dLegend same here.. but i doubt even crysis 2 will feature that kind of stuff.. maybe crysis 3

  • epic giant penis at 9s

  • more like heavy HEAVY paint

  • GPU fluid simulation - Slightly coagulated blood.*

    :P

  • GOD DAMNIT, THIS VIDEO MADE ME FORGET WHAT I WAS ORIGINALLY LOOKING FOR! RAAAAGE -.-

  • 0:08 better view of the dick penetrating the surface.

They should do this again, with 1 zillion x more particles.

And less viscosity, that water is like ketchup.

  • Looks like ketchup. Yum (^_^)

  • pause at 0:09, dick

  • this makes me wanna play bioshock

  • nvidia took 8 peoples blood

  • Very impressive!

  • Looks more like red paint, but its still cool.

  • This looks exactly liek the re and pro pulsion gel from portal 2! the gels are also not animated. maybe source 2 is using physX

  • To be honest, looks like a bunch of red paint.

  • Keen.. do you think i can use your blood model for my cadiovascular simulation? I've concept how to make this blood flow on blood vessel realtime and user can modified it. Include increase or decrease particle account. Need your help. Thanks

  • A little disgusting

  • i would say paint

  • looks crimson, behaves like chocolate syrup... hmm... maybe this is what the zombies are after :)

  • Oh my... If that's not amazing, what is?!

  • @TeTRoSeX It's not amazing, it's red ink.

  • me like

  • 0:10 ... KNow what i mean?

  • @Alexeriks1 wow are u mentally ill? u used my comment which by nothing has any relation to what i said... were u calling me stupid no learn to read and write sentences ur trying to act smart right now because i called u dumb like u are but yes u got it right the second time he was trying to say that BUT

you said that do you really think your smarter then 90% of ALL humans? i know 99.99999999% of all humans that watch this video know how to read and understand what u just said better than u do.

  • @Alexeriks1 people like you only try to comment on other comments like kerogre's because u h8 the fact that ur being called stupid when u dont understand somthing...

he clearly didnt imply he was smarter than 90% of humans im reply to this because you need to learn to read....

  • its paint

  • I like waffles! ^_^

  • u collect wat comes outa my ass? LOL

  • @surfysammy

if that came out of your ass......GET TO A DOCTOR

  • i dun know but i think it´s named like this... (my english ist bad) blood is very viscous and this is only looking like red water

  • :O DICK AT 1:09 pause

  • Look's like tomato soup.

  • has anyone even read the description? This can be done in real-time.

  • @ MustNotRead

Dude.. Seroisly.. Stfu, How is he immature for doing fluid testing.. you the one that is acting mature... But people like you ruin youtube... Aka Flamers.. anyone who wants to have abit of fun and show other people what they can do... But u sir are immature.... Grow the fuck up...

  • @MustNotRead

Look at his channel you fucking idiot.

I hope to god your comment was a joke.

  • shouldn't the blood create drops on the glass ?

    it would be more realistic.

  • nice sim :)

  • ketchup...hmm.....

  • wtf were did u do that

  • what program is this

  • that blood must be thick

  • i think you should lower the vicosity just a tad right now it is much too thick

  • better to buy a console because its som much better and easier

  • @jagexfailshard If a PC is too hard to use for you you shouldn't be using technology at all and I don't know what you mean with "better". They have worse hardware and a PC can do everything they can do.

They are cheaper though and have some great exclusives.

  • Easier maybe, better no.

  • looks like paint

  • @tehdaza Yeah, but we can say the same for xbox 360 too...PC's are far more powerful than any of the consoles.

  • @Ultimatetigernet PC's that cost a lot of money today are, but about 85% of the pc's in this world aren't, UNLESS upgraded which is not possible on a console

  • It's Alive!

  • Lol. Let's see a PS3 do this without exploding.

  • It could. Little Big Planet has a very similar effect controlling global water levels.

  • LOL. Not even close.

  • @tehdaza It probably could do that in real time if it's optimized properly.

  • excellent!

  • creamy blood.

  • wow! thats really smooth. i like

  • could you please share this??? oohhh pls pls pls =(

  • Folks, this is in FACT realtime. It was not rendered. This is REALTIME. Look at my video, it is also realtime.

  • oh gawd.....0:09

  • ROFL

  • amazing

  • This is 120-180 fps? That's amazing. With some tweaking, this could look much better than some of the paticle water animations that took hours to render... It looks a bit too much like paint right now though

Can't wait to see something like this in game of the future.

  • If it was a little more transparent, it would look a little more like blood.

  • Who the hell thumbed you down?!?! Cause i agree with you man. I cant wait to see what PhsX would be in a game of the future. But i guess we have to wait till it IS the future to see what it would look like

  • awesome!!

  • If your blood looks like that, you have some problems ;3

  • @NewlyWrittenSaga He's probably a heavy smoker lol!

  • @NewlyWrittenSaga That is about equal to the consistency of blood..

  • @NewlyWrittenSaga well... if your blood is in a fish tank... you seriously should consider death =D

  • Ehhh 90% people don't understand what they looking at. sad..

  • That 4th one was clearly a liquid penis shooting out of the water...

  • LOLL

  • LOL SO FUNNY TRUE

  • semi-Lagrangian advection with BFECC and i bet SIMPLE(C?) pressure coupling, right? And written not on CUDA but on cg.

  • It doesn't leave stains on walls, looks bad.

  • its not supposed to...damn your stupid

  • This is written in Cuda, correct? Can it be used to export animation for 3D apps such as blender 3D?

  • I don't think Blender could handle it :P

  • just imagine it with a brown color... like a deliciuous warm juicy chocolate.... mmmmm-mmm!

  • It's good work although it is more voscous than regular blood.

  • Looks like thick red paint. Still, it's awesome.

  • Not actually blood, but some type of red paint, with a bit of water mixed in it.

  • or kinda red chocolate xD but stil it's so awesome

  • you worked at nvidia?

  • 0:18 vengence skull from rs!

  • lol it is!

  • what program is this

  • read the description.

  • I think I saw a face in it.

  • Is this demo in real time, I read the description but am still not quite sure if this is the slow render or the one where they made some minor compromises in visual quality.

This looks a million times better than particle water

  • OK, but could be better for color. It's also thick, but I blame that on the tech at that time. But in the PC world you can defy the laws of physics. YAY

  • nice, what program is this?

  • the blood would get on the glass.

  • no drops or splashing? i know its hard but cmon

  • Comment removed by author

  • Not red enough, blood is much darker.

  • regarding the gaps between the 'glass' in the side of he blood, you could extend the barrier of the glass(not the visual layer) and make whatever extends out of the visible layer of glass, invisible, fixing those gaps.

  • pause it at 0:00 at the right time, and it looks like a dick lol

  • hahaha yeah it does, that funny, I noticed that too, only because it paused right there, while the video was loading, lol

  • lol the whole vid looks like it and it gets bigger

  • xD

From a point of view, it's *always* the blood what makes it grow bigger... xD

  • I WANNA EAT IT!!!!

  • xD

Would you also have sharp canine teeth? ;)

  • However, blood has a low surface tension and splatters/atomizes much easier

  • Seems a bit too creamy and/or milky... And blood isn't opaque...

But I don't know how to fix that. Wish i could help.

  • blood absolutely IS opaque

  • No, it's not. It's translucent. Have you ever looked at your own blood?

  • If you smeared some on a microscope slide, it might appear translucent. Large quantities appear opaque. Blood is not translucent like fruit punch.

  • (Googles it for an image)

Bah, I guess you're right. However, it is a bit too viscous.

  • I don't think it's too viscous. I think blood has a very low surface tension, so it spatters easily. I don't think Navier Stokes equations take into account for surface tension. Maybe you could write a program that does?

  • Ach, if i could program, I wouldn't spend all my time on YouTube. (I tried learning Ruby... Sort of. Never actually ran the thing.)

  • Comment removed

  • The title said that it was blood, which isn't as viscous as that.

  • im sure you've seen a bathtub full of blood at one time..

  • this brings true meaning to "it makes my blood boil"

  • penis at 0:09

  • lmao.. this completely faggish, but hes right.. at .09 theres a friggin penis..

  • yeah Lol xD

  • there's something in the water... but what???

  • I have an odd feeling that the next "ragdoll physics" is going to be blood physics. Anyone else see it coming?

  • looks like red paint

  • I've messed with pools of blood and that's not how it looks like.....

  • "messed with pools of blood"!?

  • (joke)

  • That's what all the serial killers say!

  • ooo thanks....now I know what to look for.

...and why do yoo know this?

by the way, I know where you live.....

  • Is it me, or do I see a giant penis jump out of the blood at 0:08?

  • Actually, it was at 0:09 seconds, and yes, I saw it too.

  • And, just realized, at 0:01 as well.

  • it wasn't just you man it did

  • Its super cool but looks nothing like blood...

  • ya, it looks more like a cross between magma and silly putty. it still looks good tho.

  • make it into a rlly gore game with this kinda blood ^^

  • Cool stuff!

Your project page isn't there anymore. Did you mirror it anywhere?

  • (Never mind, found it!)

  • Walls don't get dirty, but awesome effect anyway.

  • True true..real blood is infinitely more water-like then ever depicted in any film. Check out the televised Suicide of Budd Dwyer. Looks like someone turned on a tap, and a river of (very watery) blood comes out his nose.

  • It looks like thick paint more than blood but its still an awesome effect

  • too thick for blood, but pretty realistic.

  • no individual water droplets

  • yes, increase the size of the mesh and get what you want

  • Blood is awesome!

  • well blood is think....

  • looks like very thick oil

  • I don't know why, something about it doesn't seem so realistic.

  • That's because of the uncanny valley. It looks too real so you're brain declare that it's not.

  • No, that's not it. The thing is it shouldn't 'fold' like that in the side there, where it hits the glass. Ignoring that, it really is surprisingly realistic.

  • Maybe the lighting is playing trick on you, have you tried the water simulation?

  • Lighting would make that name sense, but since blood isn't transparent it does not. The blood seems to 'fold' on the edges there, which does not make any sense.

The water one is a lot better, except on one side it looked weird.

  • Now that I take a more careful look at it, it somewhat looks like some kind of metallic red paint... How well I think we are nitpcking, it's in real time while doing this kind of simulation in cinema4d would take hours....

  • Yeah, I wasn't complaining I was just saying.

  • celderian: You took that straight from zero punctuation. Pff.

  • The chances I took that from zero punctuation as are high as my chance of ever meeting a triple cunted sluts. More seriously the concept of uncanny valley was not invented by Yathzee.

  • simply amazing...we love it

  • is this in real time?

  • thats like a smothe or paint o.O

  • Smoothies are delicious

  • It is a bit too opaque to be blood

  • at 00:09 lol

  • wow amazing

  • are you kidding me?!?! this can't be realtime. Stunning!!
