I LOVE Mac and his girls. They have to be the best family unit in GH. I think second after them is the Spencer/Cassidine sibs. Gotta love when soaps actually implement the warmth and love of family in their stories.
Patrick and Leyla address each other professionally; Dr. Drake and Nurse Mir as it should be. Although Leyla is no longer a threat to Scrubs she has served her purpose in Robin and Patrick's relationship. Leyla can find her own friendships w/o being in Scrubs life. I don't understand why ppl thin it is rude if she is not invited to the wedding. What purpose would it serve? Leyla wished Patrick and Robin best wishes and IMO that's sufficient.
Writers having Leyla wish Patrick and Robin well is the closest they came to making her seem sincere for Robin. Seems writers want Leyla to be accepted by viewers, but the way they wrote her was painful to watch (Patrick too - late 2007 to early 2008 scenes - painful!). Even in scene where Leyla gives Robin her opininion of baby blanket did not make Leyla likeable cuz she still did not take responsibility, nor apologize and ended the conversation snotty to Robin. If she did, would be good start.
I don't understand why there is concern for Leyla being invited to wedding. She was a source of pain in Scrubs relationship. And yes... Patrick was the one who created that triangle. It took Robin some time to get over that and trust Patrick again. I think it's unrealistic for ppl to think Robin should invite Leyla to her wedding. In the real world I don't think ppl would invite the woman who was partially responsible for a painful time to share in their wedding. They are co-workers NOT friends.

Hiya jonneshia! I agree! There was a time when I deeply RESENTED Leyla cause she was after me and Robin's boy, P! But now that P's completely devoted to Robin- I no longer dislike Leyla. In fact, I've grown rather fond of her! IMO, she's a good hearted person who made a GINORMOUS mistake by getting in between P/Robin/baby's destiny! She's respectful of their relationship now and even helped them when Anna misunderstood P and Matt's confrontation over her! I wouldn't mind if she attended! <]8[)

Hiya moonp! Indulge me one final word about Leyla and the wedding invite? It is wonderful that there is no residual animosity or forbidden lust lingering between P and anyone SAVE HIS ROBIN!! Leyla even strikes me as a bit "protective" of their relationship! She fully grasps, appreciates and admires the specialness of P and Robin's bond!
Ooh, and I so LOVE the brotherly bonding that has begun! Already Baby Scorpio-Drake's working her magic on uncle Matt and she isn't even born yet! Ha! <]8[ )

Why in the world did they stick Leyme in one of the most important days for Scrubs! I really want Matt to go to the wedding, and the church looks gorgeous!
