I have one more question for Pastor John and this one holds a lot more weight for me. I believe in Jesus as the only way to the Father and as my only Lord and Savior however sometimes I get these thoughts that despite that my faith may not be genuine; in fact that it might be the result of pride. Sometimes even blasphemous thoughts appear in my head out of the blue. The most disturbing one is that Jesus is so angry at me that He just wants me in the pit and my failing to resist temptation....
@BritneyAddicted4EVA ...even when I'm totally relying on the word of God it might only be the sign that my doom is inevitable. It gets me down sometimes but fortunately, God has been good to me so far and each time such thought occurred it went away after some time. So far... one thing still remains. I might blow it someday in the future that all that's God going to say to me is: I'm done with you!!!!!!!!!
:,(
HOWEVER! I believe (well, honestly, strongly hope) that He's going to keep me. :)
@BritneyAddicted4EVA - He will never abandon you, never forsake you, never turn His back on you. Because you're never gonna surprise Him. We, as human, cannot surprise God, we're bad. So He knew what he was dealing with when He sent His only Son to die for us. Keep that in mind.
What if I was, per say, tempted so much and spent days trying to resist the temptation but it still gets me? What's on my mind in this case is anger. I'm not often angry at people but sometimes I find the arrogance of my dad impossible to ignore and I get all these urges to shove it into his face. Most of the time (over 95 percent) I manage convince myself that frustration is only temporary but sooner or later it gets me. :(
if your view of sovereignty gives you an excuse to sin then you have the wrong view of sovereignty......agreed ? because if the doctrine of sovereignty is making sin less of an issue in your life then what your actually doing is holding God responsible for your sins and make God the sinner........this would delusional Christianity and you should question you salvation f this is the case.....agreed ?
God's sovereignty is so complex to our human minds.

@nofearinlove418 But that person CAN'T have the "wrong" view of sovereignty, because it's the view that God gave him.
