Wait until the summer, you aint seen nothing yet....Corruption of the highest order awaits this game.
The only way it will slow down(not stop) is tough prison sentances like we are seeing in Cricket games that are corrupt.
This sport is rancid and will only get worse.
50% of each race that takes place is dodgey.....I for one was a gambler, by backing, now ive followed the crowd, and lay the horse....8/10 i will be correct...
He should be aware of what's over 2 shoulders not 1. Sorry, but I still think it's bent. Kirsty's behaviour doesn't exactly inspire confidence in Fallon does it? Also, what about the unusual betting moves pre-race? Ballinger Ridge drifted like a barge in the minutes before the off.
the equivalent in football terms would be a goalkeeper trying to fix the match by taking a goal kick and turning around and booting it into his own net!! "hey everyone im fixing the match, gather round and see!!". its laughable. Look this is a really simple case. The worst Fallon can be accused of here is going off too fast on the horse. he had no reason at the furlong pole to ride the horse right out, when he realised he needed to, he did it and got chinned by a neck.
anyone saying he threw this race is having a laugh. First of all, if hes trying to fix it he'd never have gone 15 lengths clear to make it super obvious. Secondly, he looks his shoulder at the furlong pole to see a scrubbed along 2nd 8 lengths down, when he looks again he's closed to 4 lengths and proceeds to ride the horse out, to lose by a head. How on earth can anyone believe he would "fix"/"throw" a race by a head in that manner is beyond me
Horse racing is the most corrupt sport in the world , I stopped betting on the horses years ago because of that reason. When you look at some races its so obvious there is nobbling going on , the top jockeys are the biggest culprits cos they make it less obvious , McCoy , Fallon , Dettori , Hughes they are all at it !!
@Sunburst75 where's the winner when he looks the first time? On the rail in his inside & Fallon's looking into the centre of the course over his right shoulder & doesn't see him. Where's the winner the next time he looks over his shoulder? The course centre & you decide now from Fallon's reacts what he does once he sees the other horse, does he carry on coasting in or does he get the shock of his life & try to start riding the horse again & then tell me if it's still obviously bent.
I watched this race live at the time. I was convinced then and am still convinced to this day that Fallon threw the race. He judged it well though, I'll give him that much. However, he is clearly blatantly throwing the race from a furlong out.
@tamaria6564 I think sum1 didn't like the fact i said Fallon cheated in this race lol.Anyways im in real happy mode today Snow Fairy did my money proud as i had been backing her E/W ante post for weeks,i also had a sneaky bet on Tangereine Trees only down point was not putting a lot more on Dream Ahead.Hows your luck been?
when opinion poll turns into the staight he continues to pull away from Saddlers rock before the furlong marker comes Frankie had already kicked on also before Saddlers rock moves upsides again Frankie had already used his whip i fail to see what Frankie does wrong as if you watch the race in detail Saddlers rock momentarily gets outpaced then he has to be switched to make his effort most would say if he had a clear run he would have won by an even bigger distance than he actually did?
You have said im desperate losing the arguement etc etc but you resort to using a staying race where the victor won going away as a comparison as to what happened with Ballinger ridge this is pure desperation as the 2 races are incomparable Opinion Poll was never 10 lengths clear in its race it also never had the race won Opinion poll was travelling really well granted but when the eventual winner moved upsides it Opinion poll pulled half a length out of it before eventually going down
Fallon was given a 21 day ban for dropping his hands which broke the rules of racing dont try taking my words out of the context in which they were written if you break a rule in any sport then you have cheated thats why rules are there.you have called Dettori incompetent the words Fallon and incompetent have never been used in the same sentence by you i have asked you why u refuse to be critical of Fallon and you bring Opinion poll where only 1 person has said anything about the ride it got
Now you are clutching at straws Connolly and your flaws are well documented. It WAS pilot error and it happens all the time and the "handicapper" can be fooled ie Prescott Curley Akehurst blah blah The authorities in racing are toothless tigers and corruption is rife coz its worth 6 billion a year in profits for the fat cats and well heeled trainers with shieks lining their bank accounts
MrConnolly you have contradicted yourself in respect of Fallon was on a non trier as it drifted and the winner was gambled. Then you say it was jockey error. So what the hell is your real opinion or do you just go with the flow
@tamaria6564 i think my opinion is clear to all in my opinion he threw the race he had no reason what so ever to ease up you could hardly say it had a hard race and off course jockey error comes into it as he stopped riding the horse. at the end of the day fallon cheated whether you or any1 else likes it or not as he received the mandatory 21 day ban for failling to ride out the horse.how could you say i go with the flow iv pointed out numerous times the things i thought were wrong
Here's an idea jockeys are not the bad guys. They do what they are told and if a bent owner or trainer does not want their horse to win then it won't. And that happens from the lowly tuesday meet at hexam or the high profile meets at Ascot etc
not wanting to intrude on others disagreements but frankies derby winner was called authorized who won at odds of 5/4 fav the only time he won at 25/1 was in the racing post trophy as a 2yr old.also fallons derby winners were oath 13/2 kris kin 6/1 and north light a 7/2 jf
I did see it but I've never heard of R Wilson and amateurs are not perfect especially at 2 miles with kickback. I had a major punt on blue bunting and the ballydoyle team had another 2 even money shots stuffed at tipperary today so sumthins up in the stable. Time to go godolphin shiek mohammed
hope people witnessed the 5.00 at southwell today check polly holder out this was an amateur race but if horses continue to be given rides like this then your everyday punter has no hope lol its an amazingly inept ride trully fecking awful amateur or not it was the best case for banning amateur races at pro meetings you will ever witness punters even mug ones should'nt be subjected to this fare amateurs have meetings there called point to points or pony racing please any1 try and watch it
Maybe but gio was held up far too late and waited till cape made his move. Just my opinion and the two ballydoyle hotpots were well beaten today with an amateur on board. Maybe a stronger jock could have got closer or were they false favs
Fair comment mate and its always going to happen. I watched cape blanco "beating" gio ponti in the man o war and arlington million. Cape was all out and whipped to death but gio walked over the line and never really tried too hard. I've never seen a non trier in group one races but that's as close as it gets. What's your opinion?
@tamaria6564 yes i watched both too an got 9/5 cape blanco 2nd time.it left me a bit shocked after the 1st race i really thought gio would win and the differance in 'ride' was incredible as i would say gio was given a very tender ride 1st time and blanco was battered by his jock 2nd time blanco was described as a little lazy by spencer.the only feasible explanation i could give is that american jockeys tend to ride races in sectionals unlike ours or maybe our jocks are stronger??? good point tho
thankfully howard johnson has been banned and decided to retire he in my opinion ought to face criminal charges as he put the horse and any1 who rode it in grave danger however i cant see it happening and i agree fully that running a horse 3 times and then winning with it in a handicap is as basic as owning up it has'nt ran to its real potential which falls into the 'cheating' category but this also will never change until the bha wake up and dish out proper bans. heres hoping lol
Granted its not in the same category as ridge. But if your nag is tailed off 3 or 4 times and wins at evens what does that say about corrupt trainers and bookies. Ie nicky henderson howard johnson and micky quinn who was found guilty of cruelty and neglect but now he's one of the guys and a scouse drinking buddy with the jocks

are you for real? punters keep the racetracks and bookies in buissness who in turn keep racing going with large sponsership deals generated from mainly punters losses all of racing revolves around punters from the bottom to the top as rich investors would not invest if money wasnt to be had.as for getting real and being a muppet its ignorant know nothings like you who have less than a basic idea of gambling and racing in general who end up destroying the whole image of racing
And also mr connoly punters have no bearing whatsoever in the racing game they are mugs and the bookies only handle their cash. The real winners are the elite rich and wealthy investors. They don't give a shit if you have a 10p yankee and you lost 20 quid. Get real muppet
I would refer any self respecting punter to the cases of sir mark prescott and mr barney curley who can turn out no hopers at 100 to 1 in their first 3 races and get tailed off. Then open at 5 to 4 in a handicap and win by 8 lengths. Explain
@tamaria6564 this idea is the oldest trick in the book run a horse 3 times normally twice over inadequate trips the third time usually near its optimum distance ensuring a workable allotted handicap mark.most self respecting punters fully understand the plot and join in the 'gamble' this however has nothing to do with a horse being given an appaling ride and is rarely punished by the stewards as trainers invairaibly respond with 'the horse was green or still learning'
And yes who ever said look at the head on INSIDE THAT DISCGRACE OF A FINAL FURLONG FALLON ON NO OCCASION USES HIS WHIP AMAZED66 yet another uneducated FOOL why would he not use his WHIP???????????????????????????????????????????????????
@MrConnolly25 don't you just love it when people start trying to belittle others with petty name calling & only succeed in making themselves look even more stupid? Fallon looks over his right shoulder at the 1f pole & doesn't see the winner on his inner and so is coasting to the line. He then looks again with around half a furlong to go, sees the winner and moves his arms out to try to get the horse to pick up the bit and run on again after losing momentum.........
@amazed66.....apart from the fact he loses vital time it takes to get organised to use the whip ,it's too late in the race for that and he needs to get his horse running again first as the whip is as much to keep a horse up to full speed once it's going at that pace. Maybe you can explain in your wisdom why if he was supposed to be throwing this race that he chose to make all the running & then how with his one and only chance he timed it so close to only be beaten by the minimal distance.
@amazed66 im no conspiracy theorist and have seen lots of horses lose that should'nt have never however 1 like this which is easily the worst i have ever seen and your argument for him is easy to pick apart fallon has an abundance of experience as a 6 time champ jockey also frontrunning is the easiest way to lose a race as the jockey will have a good idea how capable a horse and how fast it can go also if it was an accident any normal man would panic and instinctively hit the horse he did'nt
@MrConnolly25 hitting a horse once its dropped the bit doesn't make it go any faster, Fallon pulls his reins out wide to get the horse to take hold of the bit again & besides, it's so late in the race when he notices the winner that he barely had time to get organised by putting both reins in one hand & getting his whip in a position to use. You see quite clearly at about 1:33 he looks and doesn't see the winner on his inside, he looks again at 1:38 and tries to get the horse going again.
@amazed66 if you think like i have said in numerous occasions a jockey as experienced as fallon who also knows the track well needs the kind of excuses you are giving which to be fair are well thought out you are deluding yourself your excuses would carry weight for an amateur fair enough.you also must remember almost every expert/pundit roundly stuck the boot in to fallon also the fact the eventual winner was so heavily backed an that b ridge drifted so badly i mean come on what more do u want
@MrConnolly25 that's quite an achievement for me, to post something well thought out & deluded. :) It doesn't matter how experienced you are if you make a human error and that's what Fallon did here by looking over his shoulder and not seeing the other horse. Is Fallon the only one to drop his hands and then lose a race? I've seen jockeys celebrate or stop riding at the wrong post when they have thought they have won. Oh & W Carson said no jury is going to convict Fallon on that video evidence.
@amazed66 the fav won at 8/11after op 4-7 & tchd 1-2 so that was drifting more than Fallon's horse which op 7-4 tchd 9-4 & 5-2 in places and ended up back into 15/8 with one more runner at 9s, then everything else between 20s and 66s. It was a 2 horse race but why nobble a 2nd fav and not the fav? The RP post race comments were:
Led, soon 10 lengths clear, shaken up briefly over 1f out, jockey looked round and stopped riding, ridden final 100yds, caught on line.
@amazed66 well we will never agree but royston french completely stopped riding mina's boy the other day after mistaking the 1/2 furlong pole as the winning line he immediately upon realising used his whip and got back up on the line also using willie carson is proposterous and not well thought out as this is the man who told the CHEAT graham bradley he handled the infamous parnorama interviewer well and how he (willie) could not save him from what happened so carson cant be called trustworthy
@MrConnolly25 the Royston Ffrench was just me giving another example of a jockey making a human error, it wasn't to focus too much on the details but if we do, he stopped riding for a second or so when he stood up in the irons with half a furlong to go and the speed of his horse never really dropped significantly. Fallon slows down quite a bit on his horse and from farther out too, so it took longer for him to get going again and gave the other horse longer to get its head in front.
@amazed66 I don't rate Carson at all as a pundit & remember that Panorama thing with Bradley but he is still an experienced ex-jockey & knows when someone throws a race or not but just answer me this please, on watching replays of this race & especially the head on angle at the end, are you honestly saying you can't see Fallon look over his right shoulder once & not see the other horse so still takes it easy but then looks a second time, sees it & then tries to get the horse going again?
@amazed66 i think as carson defended bradley he would also defend fallon and of course when have you heard carson ever call any1 a cheat?or for that matter any other former pro?its extremely rare to hear former jocks call any current jock anything other than a good lad.as for looking over his shoulder he had no reason to do anything other than ride out to the line and he clearly did not do that in my opinion he threw it.you think otherwise and arent for changing fair enough we agree to disagree
@MrConnolly25 You know full well (or I hope you do) jockeys look over the shoulder to see where the others are to try to win by as little as possible so not to affect their handicap mark . He clearly doesn't see the winner first time & then you visibly see him try to get going again once he does. I honestly think you know on watching the replays & by what I've pointed out that you can see it now yourself but are too far in to go back on it now but if you still can't see it then that's worrying.
@amazed66 i dont really understand what you are trying to put across are you seriously trying to absolve fallon of any wrong doing on all counts?my opinion will never change on what i believed happened how do you not know he was looking over his shoulder so the eventual winner would catch him?YOU DONT! as for winning by as little as possible this idea rarely works as the handicaper is not blind and see's what happens also sheikh hamdan al maktoum refused to use fallon after a string of his rides
@MrConnolly25 what I'm putting across is anyone can see that Fallon didn't see the winner the 1st time he looked, then saw him the 2nd time & tried to get his horse to quicken & only just failed by the smallest margin. Regardless of what the handicapped does, you previously said he had no reason to look over his shoulder & I merely pointed out jockeys do it all the time to ease down & win by the smallest margin & no doubt if he won by a street then they would have the trainer to answer to.
@amazed66 Frankie Dettori lost a race yesterday on Opinion Poll where he looked and didn't see the winner first time, then looked again and did so started riding but despite using the whip as you were calling for with Fallon, he couldn't get his horse going again quickly enough as the other horse had all of the momentum. Dettori also lost 3rd place in the Oaks this year by not riding to the line, again human error unless you are suggesting he is the the pay of crooks?
@amazed66 It was Saeed Suhail who first stopped using Fallon when he felt he gave his horse a bad ride. The same Saeed Suhail for who Fallon won a Guineas on King's Best & Derby on Kris Kin . I can't remember the horse's name but it was a dog & other jockeys failed on it too after. Maktoum Al Maktoum then followed a couple of days later but then they both have the same racing manager. R Hughes also lost his job with Abdullah after Stoute was unhappy with his ride & he's not looked back since.
@amazed66 You are trully an idiot. Opinion Poll was giving lumps of weight away and Dettori did nothing wrong you are easily the the biggest argumentative prick i have ever spoken to on here you think every1 should agree with what you say.You are bringing other jockeys and owners into a fallon debate????and i don't know about the Saeed Suhail bit but i know that Al Maktoum was unhappy with a string of Fallon rides so refused to use him.You need need to take your nose out of Fallons arse
@MrConnolly25 LOL you know someone is desperate & has lost the argument when they resort to abuse & as for you calling me an idiot, at the risk of sounding conceited but when it comes to intelligence, I'd lose you & find you again. To help prove it, what difference does what weight a horse carries make if a jockey looks for another horse & doesn't see it so doesn't kick on & win his race, because that's exactly what Dettori did on Opinion Poll. Oh forgive this idiot but what does trully mean?
@amazed66 as for me being the "biggest argumentative prick" maybe you should go back & count exactly how many posts you have on here & how many you have argued with. The easiest way to clear this up though is if you have watched the replay & especially the head on at the end & then you still think Fallon did anything wrong (as in illegal), then there really is little point going any further as you are totally clueless & will have just bolded & underlined your stupidity for everyone to see.
@amazed66 your argument just keeps losing weight, he did not have to look behind him the handicapper would have raised him by a maximum 7lbs whether it won by 10 lengths or a neck. horses generally get raised less when they come from behind as they are harder to assess it was obvious the horse was hacking up also it was clearly an awfull race. so far i have not heard you even be critical off the ride which is ridiculous you are either just argumentative or fallons biggest fan
@amazed66 how have i lost any argument? you refuse to accept any1 other than you can have an opinon opinons are free to all iv said loads of times we will never agree you continue with the anal comments any1 who watched Opinion poll would agree Frankie did nothing wrong and the ballinger ridge affair is completely different in all aspects.weight is a big factor in most races as well as the conditions also Opinion poll ended up well beaten.
@MrConnolly25 well why have you once again had to resort to abuse if you are happy with your line of argument? As for Dettori doing nothing wrong on Opinion Poll, he was running all over the leader & knew he had it beaten so looked between his legs for challengers but just as he did so the winner had moved to the outer & with a restricted view Dettori didn't see it, then he looked again & saw it the second time & tried to ride it, including using the whip but couldn't get it to quicken in time.
@amazed66 so in both instances not a lot of difference really in that both jockeys made a human error when their horses were going by far the best of any in the race but each tried to win cosily and didn't see other horses until it was too late, then both tried to get their horses going again but the momentum was with the other horses. Nothing at all dodgy by either rider, just incompetence, as Dettori was incompetent when he dropped his hands for 3rd in the Oaks this season and was banned.
you may be brighter than me fair do,but in racing i have forgotten more than you will ever know i can also criticise any1 for being wrong whilst you have never once said a bad word about Fallon or his 'ride' what reason can you possibly have for that? i have lots of words for you 'conceited' aint 1.you will have to excuse the amount of posts but i and plenty of others think what happened was wrong you yourself have posted plenty i dont see many agreeing with you so who's stupid and clueless
@MrConnolly25 maybe that's your problem then as there's not much use in forgetting things is there? As for weight being an issue in Opinion Poll's race, does your racing knowledge stretch to understanding weight for age? If so then you will know Opinion Poll is a 5YO & Saddler's Rock is only a 3YO so there will obviously be a weight carrying difference. Yes I've posted often but I haven't accused you of being "the biggest argumentative prick " have I? Oh and I think you will find other do agree.
@amazed66 ok you think the ballinger ridge affair was human error i dont i think he threw it.i think Opinion Poll was just beaten by the better horse on the day, there are many occasions where weight or weight for age counts Kingsgate Native won the Nunthorpe as a 2yr old because of this.I dont agree their is any comparison between Opinion poll and Ballinger ridge as the 2 races were completely different in all aspects thats my opinion
@MrConnolly25 3 weeks ago I wrote this: You see quite clearly at about 1:33 he looks & doesn't see the winner on his inside, he looks again at 1:38 & tries to get the horse going again. Did you actually go & watch the replay again & take note at what happens at the times I mention? If so & you still think it was anything other than human error then you clearly are biased against Fallon, or maybe you did see it & now see what I'm saying is correct but you are too far gone to admit it.
@amazed66 Fallon practically jumps out of his skin after the 2nd look when he sees the horse & the head on camera at the end shows this even more. Dettori did similar in that he doesn't see the winner first time & he even uses his whip on the horse like you were asking Fallon to do but it made no difference because you can't quicken again instantly when another horse has the momentum. Also search on here for Doncaster Cup 2011 and read the first comment it shows.
@amazed66 I'm also not quite sure what your point is about Kingsgate Native and weight for age as you mentioned Opinion Poll was giving weight to Saddler's Rock and so I pointed out that he was expected to as it was a weight for age race. Just pointing out another horse like Kingsgate Native winning another WFA race doesn't really add much to things as sometimes the younger horses win and sometimes they don't. Although with 2YOs more often than not they don't win against the older horses.
@amazed66 i was only poining out kingsgate native received lumps of weight as it was a 2yr old vs tough g1 older sprinters and only won the nunthorpe because it recieved so much weight.i have looked at this video plenty of times and just refuse to accept why Fallon had any reason to be looking over his shoulder. You still refuse to accept i cant think differently to you which is sad on your part,to say i have a problem with Fallon is pathetic as i dont know him and have only seen him at the races
@amazed66 To say i dislike Fallon or am biased against him or that i refuse to admit what you really think because im too far gone is pure ignorance. You clearly stroke your ego far too much as me and many others disagree with you.Back in the real world this season alone i have placed multiple bets on Fallon mounts i also never ever back in races as poor as this race was i have also never moaned on here about a loss or about a Fallon ride other than this1 so being biased is tripe.
@MrConnolly25 These are all things you've said about Fallon on this thread: at the end of the day fallon cheated whether you or any1 else likes it or not - INSIDE THAT DISCGRACE OF A FINAL FURLONG FALLON ON NO OCCASION USES HIS WHIP AMAZED66 yet another uneducated FOOL why would he not use his WHIP? - You need need to take your nose out of Fallons arse - i have not heard you even be critical off the ride which is ridiculous you are either just argumentative or fallons biggest fan and.....
@amazed66...ok you think the ballinger ridge affair was human error i dont i think he threw it - None of which make you come across as liking him and if anything as quite bitter. Then puzzlingly you also say at one point - the ride or lack of ride may have been a mistake. Plus you don't actually have to like a jockey to back one of his mounts if you are serious about trying to make money at this game. Oh and I was critical of the ride, although I said he was incompetent and made a human error.
ballinger ridge was not the favourite for this race as the winner was odds on due to fallons horse drifting in the market in the morning this caused a lot of the fixing allegation and dont try to defend fallons ride as he clearly had the race won and he as a 6 time champion jockey would know perfectly well never to ease off a horse in a seller as a selling race by its descrition means the horses are poor to say the least
thats a really interesting story but its totally made up and you dont even remember the odds so its shit. its not fixing coz he made a mistake and thought he won.
@tamaria6564 the ride or lack of ride may have been a mistake but the evetual winner was heavilly backed and ballinger ridge drifted alarmingly and mistakes happen but as i posted earlier fallon as a 6 time champion jockey should have had the nouse to know selling quality horses are poor by the describtion of the race 'seller' your apparent ignorance to what actually happened is appaling and similar to being a member of the bha disgraceful comment and lack of respect to us idiot punters tut tut
wow i can remember this one, it cost me a lucky 15 up my first horse won and i had this for my second, my other two horses won getting me a trebble if this one won i would of got over £300, its was 13/8 or 15/8 fav, fallon the muppet
If i had a bet on fallons mount here id have been up at the payout before the race was over because the horse had the race won all that changed that was fallon had other ideas. .the man cheated the punters that day for which he should have received a lifetime ban from british racing.i can take what losses i have in betting as long as i lose fair and square.play fair and get the corruption out of the sport
Anyone who can defend that is pretty stupid imo 1min 32 he has a look and CLEARLY stops riding if he was worried he was getting caught surely he should have thrown everything at the horse he stops riding for a few seconds and then has another go when it;s all too late. Imactually a fan of Fallon but that looked incredibly dodgy to me.
@Nathan084 yes you're right he clearly has a look at the furlong pole, a look over his right shoulder to the horses on his outside and eases his horse when he doesn't see the winner on the rail because it's hidden from his view. The winner then comes out towards the middle of the course and Fallon sees it when taking a second look again over the same shoulder and panics and tries to get his horse going again. The head on view at the end shows this best of all.
Horse had plenty gas. What happened is Fallon eased off becuase he thought he had the race won and undernormal circumstances he would have but his mount instead of slowing slightly like any jockey would expect he all but downed tools completely. Realising his mistae he tried hard to recitify his mistake. I believe he was lucky to get off in court but little wonder if this is the kind of evidence they came up with. There was nothing corrpt about this ride.Only an idiot would say he stopped it.
@nuipret Guess you missed English class at school and lack a decent education hence you resort to substituting proper adjectives with swear words. Bad enough having no respect for others but when you have no respect for yourself then that just makes you a good excuse for condoms. Now go smack someone across the chops with your handbag it will make you feel better :0)
@FIST2k8 you seem to defend a lot of currupt in raceing with the graham bradley video too its all fixed simple as your probly in the middle of it since your defending so much!
fallon is a coke head and owed the wrong people money. He clearly stiffed that horse and if he did that in the usa you would find his body. If he would have done that to my horse I would have personally taken him out
does nyone know the name of the horse hes riding because i am looking for my horse wich is a x racer and i am serching all the jockeys that rode him my horses race name is M for Magic and i cant quite tell if that horse has a white star on its head or not
i hate this cunt fallon. he is a twisting mother fucking cock sucking low lifed little heap of shit that deserves only one thing....to die in agony of cancer. the thieving cheating irish fuck is hated by true racegoers. and you cunts that defend him are the same as he is, conniving cunts that wake up every morning with only the thought of how much money they can make today by robbing the racing punters. you packs of filth deserve to get your throats cut. and i'll do it if i meet you.
u can't be too bright because I have told u the book it's in and u haven't even listened to my first comment, which was: " Dettori has ridden more classics and group 1 winners AROUND THE WORLD! Rest of the world is far bigger than ireland, britain and Europe which u have only considered! Think about America, breeders cup, and Japan etc.
If Fallon comes to the USA and pulls that crap like he did here he will be killed and you will never find his body. Fallon is a druggie and a cheat that has been proven in court so to see this why are we shocked.
Fallon is a little Irish midget who, as rich as he is , does not give a fuck for anyone but his wee self. He would take a brown envelope filled with lots of lovely punts, and fuck up doe's daft wee punters .
Classic betting exchange coup. Those on Ballinger Ridge in the Betting shops who don't use Betfair etc must have been cursing the day the internet got hold of British racing. Fallon was like a drunken conjourer in this race - it looked awful but why should he give a shit if the result was as it needed to be?
betting in running ..the easiest way to cheat the punters . fallon would have been trading at very short odds and that is when those in the know either lay him or bet the winner at long odds ..just made it a bit too obvious this time !
without doubt guilty but at the end of they day they had to prove fallons guilt and i think the whole trial was handled in a very shambolic and amatuerish way
Kieren i have meet a couple of times and i tell you for one thing this man is surley the best flaft jockey of his genertion..yeah you can all go on about how franky did this and that, but keiren wud ride rings around him,,,, They all go on about how keiern can only dream about frankys famous 6 winners,,, well fallon has rode more group 1 winners that franky will ever do, and you can ban keiren for another 5 yeras and franky still would'nt get up there..
Great jockey? He cheated the ordinary punter and was banned over here! Steve Cauthen, Frankie and Lester were true geniuses! lester rode his first winner aged 11? Kieren wasn't known in the early 90's so where was his talent then?
I seem to remeber he was 6 times champion jockey over in england, and when he was at Sir Micheal Stoutes yard he rode a Derby winner for him, and 2 other derbys, a breeders cup mile on turf,, Irish derbys.. The ARC over in france.!! and his last group one win was the Arc 2007 on dylan thomas!! Keiren Fallon has rode winners from BALLINROBE to HONG KONG so he has talent... I wud'nt rate Fallon above lester but i wud always have my money on keiren over frnakie...
@PMcM1007 Yes but Fallon will always be remembered as a cheat! Steve cauthen won more prize money and rode a record breaking number of rides in 50 days, but Frankie doesn't have to ride great horses to win races! He can be boxed in and create miracles; only a magician could win 7 on the bounce! Could fallon?
@copperpotbaby You talk about been box in a create miracles... Ryan moore, Richard Hughes, J spencer, Ted durcan, J murtagh, and of course Kieren Fallon have all done the same. Look at the ride Kieren gave dylan thomas in the ARC 2007. Master at work.. Im not saying Franky aint a good jockey, in fact this season he was on top of his game. your rite 6 wins in one day is unreal. But i think Fallon is a better horse man than franky. Rayn Moore has just said resently that Fallon is the best he saw
@PMcM1007 We will never agree on this but wanna say that frankie was the first teenager to ride 100 winners since Lester and his first winner over here was on his 16th birthday! Fallon doesn't match that! Eddery rode many great winners so this shows that the horse must be more important than the jockey? Also, Frankie won 7 on the bounce and not 6!
@PMcM1007 Frankie always'd give a horse every chance to win and sometimes even increased their chances! He rides with a flair that is great to watch but skilled enough to aid a horse's performance. Fallon just sits on a superior horse until the rest slow down and pass him; only one jockey of this generation will be remembered-guess who?
Your Damn rite we will never agree. But i hink your comment that fallon just sits on best horses in that race is pushing it to far. Fallon has rode winners from no were and at big prices to.. Maybe its an Irish thing that Fallon is getting such a bad rap... If your such a big horse race fan you will have to be aware that Fallon has rode some masterfull races like the ARC in 2007 were he beat franky who was on the derby winner that day. Anyway we should get payed for PROMOTING the 2 JOCKEYS. lol.
it's nothing about an irish thing but I realise that the irish usually see no wrongs in their own people. Now a couple of facts for you: Which jockey has ridden more group 1 and classic winners around the world than any other jockey? Check this out because it is frankie! Also, Fallon won the Arc and beat Frankie but he lost to the same horse in the derby. riding winners doesn't define a great jockey because Eddery would had passed Lester's total if he had not retired!
Fallon has the pick of the rides because he usually rides for Michael Stoute and and Aidan O'Brien! Frankie has ridden for luca Cumani and peter Chapple-Hyam!
@amazed66 re-read my comments because you'll find that O'Brien and Stoute have the best horses! Who has ridden more group one races around the world? FRANKIE!
@copperpotbaby Fallon only rode a few seasons for O'Brien/Stoute, Frankie's been riding for top stables like Cumani, Gosden, & Godolphin for 20+ years since he was a teen. He also rides other Maktoum horses all ove rthe world including when jocking off others or when bought from other owners & he gets on them. Fallon might be older but he didn't really start riding regularly in group races until he went to Cecil's & had spent about 10 years riding in the northern UK courses before that.
@amazed66 Don't u think because Fallon has been such a bad professional has caused him to miss rides and not to be trusted by both owners and the establishment? I remember him being banned in 1994 and, i think, it was something to do with him attacking another jockey called Webster! He's had several betting scandals and should be banned for life right now! Would u expect him to keep his place as stable jockey? I have a book, called Racehorse, and Frankie is featured on at least 10 page; Fallon-1
@amazed66 While 17 years of age, Frankie rode 17 winners in Italy before coming to Britain; Fallon rode 29 winners in Britain as a 26 year old! Fallon rode 3 winners in Derby; Two for Stoute and one for Cecil, don'y u think he had the best ride in the race? All of Fallon's were fancied and one was fav; Dettori's only Derby win was 25/1! Frankie is the best known jockey of the 21st century, the most trusted, the entertainer the crowds want to see! He won 7 in '96; When will Fallon match this?
@nellie1912 Where is ur evidence for this fact? Mine's from a book called "Racehorse" forwarded by Richard Dunwoody, written by Elwyn Hartley Edwards! Please go to page 93, line 26 and become enlightened! Look it up on the net if u don't have this advantage!
@nellie1912 Please type in: " Which jockey has ridden more group 1 and classic winners around the world" A page in the book I have will appear so read this to realise it is dettori! Yoiu should buy this book because it is filled with facts about all forms of racing!
@copperpotbaby Please type in what? Piggott is far ahead of Dettori on classics and group one winners 30 Engish classics alone 24 in Ireland 18 in France so r u seriously telling me Frankie has ridden 72 European classic winners and this is not including Spain Italy don't know what book your reading but its a crock of shit.
@nellie1912 u can't be too bright because I have told u the book it's in and u haven't even listened to my first comment, which was: " Dettori has ridden more classics and group 1 winners AROUND THE WORLD! Rest of the world is far bigger than ireland, britain and Europe which u have only considered! Think about America, breeders cup, and Japan etc.
@copperpotbaby Am you posted this three times and you called me not bright. I am not going to even entertain talking to such a misinformed twat, but i'l bet you 500quid that dettori does not even come near Lester piggott evn if you want to discuss the rest of the world.

For all Fallon's many championships and classic wins, please check his totals for the amount of winners he actually rode when he won each championship! He was unable to record the same amount that Frankie rode in two of those years, this is a truer way to show who is the better hoprseman!
The race that soured Fallon's name more than anything off the course. I backed Ballinger that day and the shop manager shook his head in disbelief-the whole shop were counting their 2/1, no one could believe the ride he gave it.
when a thoroughbred is at maximum flight, along with fallon so far clear of d rest of d field, Kieran may have felt it prudent to ask the mare for maximum effort when he noticed second place closing rapidly. As it was the closing stages he done d right thing and just squeezed for the last bit in the tank.
The greatest modern dat flat jockey has got to be Frankie! He can ride a horse like no other; fallon doesn't do anything spectacular, only gets the chance to ride great horses. The only other difference is that he is a bloody cheat!
how many long shots does franky ride and win on compared to kieran fallon,,, he is back a month and 30 winners already,, franky will only in a blue moon ride anything over 4/1 to win,, while fallon will always have a chance on any shot..!!!!!!
You're saying that Fallon didn't cheat here? Also, do you remember when Frankie rode all 6 winners in a meeting in 1996? Bet Fallon can only dream about doing this! frankie always rides an honest race unlike that Irish thief. He was banned-enough said!
yeah you said it 1996, long time ago,,, Fallon has rode more group 1 winners than Franky can ever imagine,, have a look at the race when Fallon rode dylan tomas,,2007, his rides in SAN ANTINA USA a couple of weeks ago , when he struck a double a master at work,, and you say IRISH thief like you something against the irish in racing, with out the irish in racing, well there would be no racing. NUFF said..
Frankie actually rode 7 winners. But Fallon is a better jockey without doubt, Frankie will only win when he feels like it, or if he's on a roll. He'd never have won the derby if it wasn't for Authorized, Rick Waller would've won on the horse that day.
What i dont get is if you want to guarantee losing a race then the last thing you would do is go to the front, you'd stick it out the back and just run up the arse of another horse and then just claim the horse was unlucky and got stopped in the run.
The way he did it looks as if he tried to just knacker the horse by setting crazy early fractions but maybe the horse was just lit up by the blinkers and lasted longer than he expected.Lets just hope all these dodgy stuff is behind Kieren now.
looks behind him twice and slows down and the guy who catches him uses the whip and fallon doesnt.
The Fallon fans on here remind me of the Michael Jackson zealots. It would just burst their sad little bubbles too much if it were all true so they deny it even though its obvious to most rational people.
My arse...Tony McCoy is head and shoulders above anyone else, how many times has Fallon won the jockeys title and besides McCoys in the more dangerous world of jumps,he is by far and away the greatest jockey this country or world has ever seen... Fallon got caught cheating, done his time, but will be tainted,McCoy on the other hand is as honest as the day is long, flat jockeys are wimps compared to jump jockeys
if kieren really wanted to lose this race he would have missed the start and got his horse boxed in.Anybody who thinks there is foulplay here knows sweet fuck all bout racing. There are plenty ways to stop a horse and this isnt one of them.its comical that the mets case was based on this. What a discrace
i couldnt care less wat people think of kieran fallon he is a racing legend in his own right and has done his time so leave him alone to fuck as if any of ye people even know what its like to be a jockey the man risks his life every day to do what he loves and know one has the right to judge him...... come of the fallon cant wait till friday
@mylesgoodbody you're a prick. ignorant and deluded. fallon is the biggest fraud and twister in the world. he robs the punters at every available opportunity, and you defend him, that makes you a dumb cunt. the problem we have is that racing has too many crooks AT THE TOP , not just bent jockeys but twisted officials too. that's why he's still riding today. but i'm a happy guy because fallon has lost his derby ride today!!! brilliant!!! he wants a bullet in his one cell brain, and so do you mug.
It looks really stupid, but there's certainly no skullduggery involved here. You can clearly see that just before Fallon checks to his right behind him, the eventual winner ducks in to the rail and obscures himself from Fallons view; he then emerges to Fallons obvious surprise but it's too late. School boy error and nothing more. I really can't believe that an 'expert' can see any wrong in this apart from it being a simple cock-up on Fallons behalf.
No I'm not having a laugh. Tell me what you saw then? I've seen this happen many times over the years and it'll keep happening for as long as me and you have an arse-hole. No-one ever questioned Carson or the others for doing the same thing. Do you really think he'd have 'pulled' one in this fashion? You're probably one of those people that says "Did you see that?! He jumped off it!" and "Look! he wasn't fucking trying on that!" when your horse gets beaten a nose! Apply some logic pal!
You should have gone to spec savers .. you are talking about the race in the video on this page aren't you and not another one. How will the write up read for this .. 'pulled clear 3 out, eased down last 2 furlongs beaten a sh-hd .. ?'
Forget about 'in running comments' - I prefer to judge what I see with my own eyes. Now Fallon may well be a shyster - I wont deny that - and racing is, and always will be, as bent as a bus full of faggots, but this was as honest a mistake as a dodgy bloke could make. Look on the Attheraces website to see the comments in running, not that it will make much difference!

@maxmaxmax976 Why the summer?
alfriendo2008 1 week ago
He should be aware of what's over 2 shoulders not 1. Sorry, but I still think it's bent. Kirsty's behaviour doesn't exactly inspire confidence in Fallon does it? Also, what about the unusual betting moves pre-race? Ballinger Ridge drifted like a barge in the minutes before the off.
Sunburst75 2 weeks ago
@TheEnglandWC Shut up you fucking twat , who asked your opinion ?
Muirton66 1 month ago
Fallon is a good jockey but what a wanker for doing this, and his girlfriend Kirsty has just been done for cheating! Assholes

the equivalent in football terms would be a goalkeeper trying to fix the match by taking a goal kick and turning around and booting it into his own net!! "hey everyone im fixing the match, gather round and see!!". its laughable. Look this is a really simple case. The worst Fallon can be accused of here is going off too fast on the horse. he had no reason at the furlong pole to ride the horse right out, when he realised he needed to, he did it and got chinned by a neck.
publintown 2 months ago
anyone saying he threw this race is having a laugh. How on earth can anyone believe he would "fix"/"throw" a race by a head in that manner is beyond me
publintown 2 months ago
truly, a great ride
thefonze007 2 months ago
Horse racing is the most corrupt sport in the world , I stopped betting on the horses years ago because of that reason. When you look at some races its so obvious there is nobbling going on , the top jockeys are the biggest culprits cos they make it less obvious , McCoy , Fallon , Dettori , Hughes they are all at it !!
Muirton66 3 months ago
@Muirton66 Ignorance is bliss and a little knowledge is a dangerous thing ....
Geenalucille 2 months ago
@Geenalucille I have a good knowledge of the sport , and frankly anyone who is in denial that horseracing is corrupt needs to take a reality check !!
Muirton66 2 months ago
This is a joke. He even looks round twice near the end, laughable. BENT, obviously.
Sunburst75 3 months ago 2
@Sunburst75 where's the winner when he looks the first time? On the rail in his inside & Fallon's looking into the centre of the course over his right shoulder & doesn't see him. Where's the winner the next time he looks over his shoulder? The course centre & you decide now from Fallon's reacts what he does once he sees the other horse, does he carry on coasting in or does he get the shock of his life & try to start riding the horse again & then tell me if it's still obviously bent.
amazed66 2 weeks ago
I watched this race live at the time. I was convinced then and am still convinced to this day that Fallon threw the race. He judged it well though, I'll give him that much. However, he is clearly blatantly throwing the race from a furlong out.

tamaria6564 4 months ago
@tamaria6564 I think sum1 didn't like the fact i said Fallon cheated in this race lol.Anyways im in real happy mode today Snow Fairy did my money proud as i had been backing her E/W ante post for weeks,i also had a sneaky bet on Tangereine Trees only down point was not putting a lot more on Dream Ahead.Hows your luck been?
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
when opinion poll turns into the staight he continues to pull away from Saddlers rock before the furlong marker comes Frankie had already kicked on also before Saddlers rock moves upsides again Frankie had already used his whip i fail to see what Frankie does wrong as if you watch the race in detail Saddlers rock momentarily gets outpaced then he has to be switched to make his effort most would say if he had a clear run he would have won by an even bigger distance than he actually did?
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
You have said im desperate losing the arguement etc etc but you resort to using a staying race where the victor won going away as a comparison as to what happened with Ballinger ridge this is pure desperation as the 2 races are incomparable Opinion Poll was never 10 lengths clear in its race it also never had the race won Opinion poll was travelling really well granted but when the eventual winner moved upsides it Opinion poll pulled half a length out of it before eventually going down
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
Fallon was given a 21 day ban for dropping his hands which broke the rules of racing dont try taking my words out of the context in which they were written if you break a rule in any sport then you have cheated thats why rules are there.you have called Dettori incompetent the words Fallon and incompetent have never been used in the same sentence by you i have asked you why u refuse to be critical of Fallon and you bring Opinion poll where only 1 person has said anything about the ride it got

Now you are clutching at straws Connolly and your flaws are well documented. It WAS pilot error and it happens all the time and the "handicapper" can be fooled ie Prescott Curley Akehurst blah blah The authorities in racing are toothless tigers and corruption is rife coz its worth 6 billion a year in profits for the fat cats and well heeled trainers with shieks lining their bank accounts

tamaria6564 5 months ago
MrConnolly you have contradicted yourself in respect of Fallon was on a non trier as it drifted and the winner was gambled. Then you say it was jockey error. So what the hell is your real opinion or do you just go with the flow
tamaria6564 5 months ago

And that happens from the lowly tuesday meet at hexam or the high profile meets at Ascot etc
tamaria6564 5 months ago
not wanting to intrude on others disagreements but frankies derby winner was called authorized who won at odds of 5/4 fav the only time he won at 25/1 was in the racing post trophy as a 2yr old.also fallons derby winners were oath 13/2 kris kin 6/1 and north light a 7/2 jf

tamaria6564 5 months ago
I did see it but I've never heard of R Wilson and amateurs are not perfect especially at 2 miles with kickback. I had a major punt on blue bunting and the ballydoyle team had another 2 even money shots stuffed at tipperary today so sumthins up in the stable. Time to go godolphin shiek mohammed
tamaria6564 5 months ago
hope people witnessed the 5.00 at southwell today check polly holder out this was an amateur race but if horses continue to be given rides like this then your everyday punter has no hope lol its an amazingly inept ride trully fecking awful amateur or not it was the best case for banning amateur races at pro meetings you will ever witness punters even mug ones should'nt be subjected to this fare amateurs have meetings there called point to points or pony racing please any1 try and watch it
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
I hope gio runs a stinker just before the breeders and I can get 10 to 1 coz it will win and I will buy a maybach lol
tamaria6564 5 months ago
Maybe but gio was held up far too late and waited till cape made his move. Just my opinion and the two ballydoyle hotpots were well beaten today with an amateur on board. Maybe a stronger jock could have got closer or were they false favs
tamaria6564 5 months ago
Fair comment mate and its always going to happen. I watched cape blanco "beating" gio ponti in the man o war and arlington million. Cape was all out and whipped to death but gio walked over the line and never really tried too hard. I've never seen a non trier in group one races but that's as close as it gets. What's your opinion?
tamaria6564 5 months ago
@tamaria6564 yes i watched both too an got 9/5 cape blanco 2nd time.it left me a bit shocked after the 1st race i really thought gio would win and the differance in 'ride' was incredible as i would say gio was given a very tender ride 1st time and blanco was battered by his jock 2nd time blanco was described as a little lazy by spencer.the only feasible explanation i could give is that american jockeys tend to ride races in sectionals unlike ours or maybe our jocks are stronger??? good point tho
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
thankfully howard johnson has been banned and decided to retire he in my opinion ought to face criminal charges as he put the horse and any1 who rode it in grave danger however i cant see it happening and i agree fully that running a horse 3 times and then winning with it in a handicap is as basic as owning up it has'nt ran to its real potential which falls into the 'cheating' category but this also will never change until the bha wake up and dish out proper bans. heres hoping lol

MrConnolly25 5 months ago
And also mr connoly punters have no bearing whatsoever in the racing game they are mugs and the bookies only handle their cash. The real winners are the elite rich and wealthy investors. They don't give a shit if you have a 10p yankee and you lost 20 quid. Get real muppet
tamaria6564 5 months ago
I would refer any self respecting punter to the cases of sir mark prescott and mr barney curley who can turn out no hopers at 100 to 1 in their first 3 races and get tailed off. Then open at 5 to 4 in a handicap and win by 8 lengths. Explain
tamaria6564 5 months ago
@tamaria6564 this idea is the oldest trick in the book run a horse 3 times normally twice over inadequate trips the third time usually near its optimum distance ensuring a workable allotted handicap mark.most self respecting punters fully understand the plot and join in the 'gamble' this however has nothing to do with a horse being given an appaling ride and is rarely punished by the stewards as trainers invairaibly respond with 'the horse was green or still learning'
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
And yes who ever said look at the head on INSIDE THAT DISCGRACE OF A FINAL FURLONG FALLON ON NO OCCASION USES HIS WHIP AMAZED66 yet another uneducated FOOL why would he not use his WHIP???????????????????????????????????????????????????
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
@MrConnolly25 don't you just love it when people start trying to belittle others with petty name calling & only succeed in making themselves look even more stupid? Fallon looks over his right shoulder at the 1f pole & doesn't see the winner on his inner and so is coasting to the line. He then looks again with around half a furlong to go, sees the winner and moves his arms out to try to get the horse to pick up the bit and run on again after losing momentum.........
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66.....apart from the fact he loses vital time it takes to get organised to use the whip ,it's too late in the race for that and he needs to get his horse running again first as the whip is as much to keep a horse up to full speed once it's going at that pace. Maybe you can explain in your wisdom why if he was supposed to be throwing this race that he chose to make all the running & then how with his one and only chance he timed it so close to only be beaten by the minimal distance.
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66 im no conspiracy theorist and have seen lots of horses lose that should'nt have never however 1 like this which is easily the worst i have ever seen and your argument for him is easy to pick apart fallon has an abundance of experience as a 6 time champ jockey also frontrunning is the easiest way to lose a race as the jockey will have a good idea how capable a horse and how fast it can go also if it was an accident any normal man would panic and instinctively hit the horse he did'nt
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
@MrConnolly25 hitting a horse once its dropped the bit doesn't make it go any faster, Fallon pulls his reins out wide to get the horse to take hold of the bit again & besides, it's so late in the race when he notices the winner that he barely had time to get organised by putting both reins in one hand & getting his whip in a position to use. You see quite clearly at about 1:33 he looks and doesn't see the winner on his inside, he looks again at 1:38 and tries to get the horse going again.
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66 if you think like i have said in numerous occasions a jockey as experienced as fallon who also knows the track well needs the kind of excuses you are giving which to be fair are well thought out you are deluding yourself your excuses would carry weight for an amateur fair enough.you also must remember almost every expert/pundit roundly stuck the boot in to fallon also the fact the eventual winner was so heavily backed an that b ridge drifted so badly i mean come on what more do u want
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
@MrConnolly25 that's quite an achievement for me, to post something well thought out & deluded. :) It doesn't matter how experienced you are if you make a human error and that's what Fallon did here by looking over his shoulder and not seeing the other horse. Is Fallon the only one to drop his hands and then lose a race? I've seen jockeys celebrate or stop riding at the wrong post when they have thought they have won. Oh & W Carson said no jury is going to convict Fallon on that video evidence.
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66 the fav won at 8/11after op 4-7 & tchd 1-2 so that was drifting more than Fallon's horse which op 7-4 tchd 9-4 & 5-2 in places and ended up back into 15/8 with one more runner at 9s, then everything else between 20s and 66s. It was a 2 horse race but why nobble a 2nd fav and not the fav? The RP post race comments were:
Led, soon 10 lengths clear, shaken up briefly over 1f out, jockey looked round and stopped riding, ridden final 100yds, caught on line.
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66 well we will never agree but royston french completely stopped riding mina's boy the other day after mistaking the 1/2 furlong pole as the winning line he immediately upon realising used his whip and got back up on the line also using willie carson is proposterous and not well thought out as this is the man who told the CHEAT graham bradley he handled the infamous parnorama interviewer well and how he (willie) could not save him from what happened so carson cant be called trustworthy
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
@MrConnolly25 the Royston Ffrench was just me giving another example of a jockey making a human error, it wasn't to focus too much on the details but if we do, he stopped riding for a second or so when he stood up in the irons with half a furlong to go and the speed of his horse never really dropped significantly. Fallon slows down quite a bit on his horse and from farther out too, so it took longer for him to get going again and gave the other horse longer to get its head in front.
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66 I don't rate Carson at all as a pundit & remember that Panorama thing with Bradley but he is still an experienced ex-jockey & knows when someone throws a race or not but just answer me this please, on watching replays of this race & especially the head on angle at the end, are you honestly saying you can't see Fallon look over his right shoulder once & not see the other horse so still takes it easy but then looks a second time, sees it & then tries to get the horse going again?
amazed66 5 months ago

I honestly think you know on watching the replays & by what I've pointed out that you can see it now yourself but are too far in to go back on it now but if you still can't see it then that's worrying.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 i dont really understand what you are trying to put across are you seriously trying to absolve fallon of any wrong doing on all counts?my opinion will never change on what i believed happened how do you not know he was looking over his shoulder so the eventual winner would catch him?YOU DONT! as for winning by as little as possible this idea rarely works as the handicaper is not blind and see's what happens also sheikh hamdan al maktoum refused to use fallon after a string of his rides
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@MrConnolly25 what I'm putting across is anyone can see that Fallon didn't see the winner the 1st time he looked, then saw him the 2nd time & tried to get his horse to quicken & only just failed by the smallest margin. Regardless of what the handicapped does, you previously said he had no reason to look over his shoulder & I merely pointed out jockeys do it all the time to ease down & win by the smallest margin & no doubt if he won by a street then they would have the trainer to answer to.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 Frankie Dettori lost a race yesterday on Opinion Poll where he looked and didn't see the winner first time, then looked again and did so started riding but despite using the whip as you were calling for with Fallon, he couldn't get his horse going again quickly enough as the other horse had all of the momentum. Dettori also lost 3rd place in the Oaks this year by not riding to the line, again human error unless you are suggesting he is the the pay of crooks?
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 It was Saeed Suhail who first stopped using Fallon when he felt he gave his horse a bad ride. The same Saeed Suhail for who Fallon won a Guineas on King's Best & Derby on Kris Kin . I can't remember the horse's name but it was a dog & other jockeys failed on it too after. Maktoum Al Maktoum then followed a couple of days later but then they both have the same racing manager. R Hughes also lost his job with Abdullah after Stoute was unhappy with his ride & he's not looked back since.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 You are trully an idiot. Opinion Poll was giving lumps of weight away and Dettori did nothing wrong you are easily the the biggest argumentative prick i have ever spoken to on here you think every1 should agree with what you say.You are bringing other jockeys and owners into a fallon debate????and i don't know about the Saeed Suhail bit but i know that Al Maktoum was unhappy with a string of Fallon rides so refused to use him.You need need to take your nose out of Fallons arse
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@MrConnolly25 LOL you know someone is desperate & has lost the argument when they resort to abuse & as for you calling me an idiot, at the risk of sounding conceited but when it comes to intelligence, I'd lose you & find you again. To help prove it, what difference does what weight a horse carries make if a jockey looks for another horse & doesn't see it so doesn't kick on & win his race, because that's exactly what Dettori did on Opinion Poll. Oh forgive this idiot but what does trully mean?
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 as for me being the "biggest argumentative prick" maybe you should go back & count exactly how many posts you have on here & how many you have argued with. The easiest way to clear this up though is if you have watched the replay & especially the head on at the end & then you still think Fallon did anything wrong (as in illegal), then there really is little point going any further as you are totally clueless & will have just bolded & underlined your stupidity for everyone to see.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 your argument just keeps losing weight, he did not have to look behind him the handicapper would have raised him by a maximum 7lbs whether it won by 10 lengths or a neck. horses generally get raised less when they come from behind as they are harder to assess it was obvious the horse was hacking up also it was clearly an awfull race. so far i have not heard you even be critical off the ride which is ridiculous you are either just argumentative or fallons biggest fan
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@amazed66 how have i lost any argument? you refuse to accept any1 other than you can have an opinon opinons are free to all iv said loads of times we will never agree you continue with the anal comments any1 who watched Opinion poll would agree Frankie did nothing wrong and the ballinger ridge affair is completely different in all aspects.weight is a big factor in most races as well as the conditions also Opinion poll ended up well beaten.
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@MrConnolly25 well why have you once again had to resort to abuse if you are happy with your line of argument? As for Dettori doing nothing wrong on Opinion Poll, he was running all over the leader & knew he had it beaten so looked between his legs for challengers but just as he did so the winner had moved to the outer & with a restricted view Dettori didn't see it, then he looked again & saw it the second time & tried to ride it, including using the whip but couldn't get it to quicken in time.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 so in both instances not a lot of difference really in that both jockeys made a human error when their horses were going by far the best of any in the race but each tried to win cosily and didn't see other horses until it was too late, then both tried to get their horses going again but the momentum was with the other horses. Nothing at all dodgy by either rider, just incompetence, as Dettori was incompetent when he dropped his hands for 3rd in the Oaks this season and was banned.
amazed66 4 months ago
you may be brighter than me fair do,but in racing i have forgotten more than you will ever know i can also criticise any1 for being wrong whilst you have never once said a bad word about Fallon or his 'ride' what reason can you possibly have for that? i have lots of words for you 'conceited' aint 1.you will have to excuse the amount of posts but i and plenty of others think what happened was wrong you yourself have posted plenty i dont see many agreeing with you so who's stupid and clueless
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@MrConnolly25 maybe that's your problem then as there's not much use in forgetting things is there? As for weight being an issue in Opinion Poll's race, does your racing knowledge stretch to understanding weight for age? If so then you will know Opinion Poll is a 5YO & Saddler's Rock is only a 3YO so there will obviously be a weight carrying difference. Yes I've posted often but I haven't accused you of being "the biggest argumentative prick " have I? Oh and I think you will find other do agree.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 ok you think the ballinger ridge affair was human error i dont i think he threw it.i think Opinion Poll was just beaten by the better horse on the day, there are many occasions where weight or weight for age counts Kingsgate Native won the Nunthorpe as a 2yr old because of this.I dont agree their is any comparison between Opinion poll and Ballinger ridge as the 2 races were completely different in all aspects thats my opinion
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@MrConnolly25 3 weeks ago I wrote this: You see quite clearly at about 1:33 he looks & doesn't see the winner on his inside, he looks again at 1:38 & tries to get the horse going again. Did you actually go & watch the replay again & take note at what happens at the times I mention? If so & you still think it was anything other than human error then you clearly are biased against Fallon, or maybe you did see it & now see what I'm saying is correct but you are too far gone to admit it.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 Fallon practically jumps out of his skin after the 2nd look when he sees the horse & the head on camera at the end shows this even more. Dettori did similar in that he doesn't see the winner first time & he even uses his whip on the horse like you were asking Fallon to do but it made no difference because you can't quicken again instantly when another horse has the momentum. Also search on here for Doncaster Cup 2011 and read the first comment it shows.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 I'm also not quite sure what your point is about Kingsgate Native and weight for age as you mentioned Opinion Poll was giving weight to Saddler's Rock and so I pointed out that he was expected to as it was a weight for age race. Just pointing out another horse like Kingsgate Native winning another WFA race doesn't really add much to things as sometimes the younger horses win and sometimes they don't. Although with 2YOs more often than not they don't win against the older horses.
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66 i was only poining out kingsgate native received lumps of weight as it was a 2yr old vs tough g1 older sprinters and only won the nunthorpe because it recieved so much weight.i have looked at this video plenty of times and just refuse to accept why Fallon had any reason to be looking over his shoulder. You still refuse to accept i cant think differently to you which is sad on your part,to say i have a problem with Fallon is pathetic as i dont know him and have only seen him at the races
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@amazed66 To say i dislike Fallon or am biased against him or that i refuse to admit what you really think because im too far gone is pure ignorance. You clearly stroke your ego far too much as me and many others disagree with you.Back in the real world this season alone i have placed multiple bets on Fallon mounts i also never ever back in races as poor as this race was i have also never moaned on here about a loss or about a Fallon ride other than this1 so being biased is tripe.
MrConnolly25 4 months ago
@MrConnolly25 These are all things you've said about Fallon on this thread: at the end of the day fallon cheated whether you or any1 else likes it or not - INSIDE THAT DISCGRACE OF A FINAL FURLONG FALLON ON NO OCCASION USES HIS WHIP AMAZED66 yet another uneducated FOOL why would he not use his WHIP? - You need need to take your nose out of Fallons arse - i have not heard you even be critical off the ride which is ridiculous you are either just argumentative or fallons biggest fan and.....
amazed66 4 months ago
@amazed66...ok you think the ballinger ridge affair was human error i dont i think he threw it - None of which make you come across as liking him and if anything as quite bitter. Then puzzlingly you also say at one point - the ride or lack of ride may have been a mistake. Plus you don't actually have to like a jockey to back one of his mounts if you are serious about trying to make money at this game. Oh and I was critical of the ride, although I said he was incompetent and made a human error.
amazed66 4 months ago
ballinger ridge was not the favourite for this race as the winner was odds on due to fallons horse drifting in the market in the morning this caused a lot of the fixing allegation and dont try to defend fallons ride as he clearly had the race won and he as a 6 time champion jockey would know perfectly well never to ease off a horse in a seller as a selling race by its descrition means the horses are poor to say the least

thats a really interesting story but its totally made up and you dont even remember the odds so its shit. its not fixing coz he made a mistake and thought he won.
tamaria6564 5 months ago
@tamaria6564 the ride or lack of ride may have been a mistake but the evetual winner was heavilly backed and ballinger ridge drifted alarmingly and mistakes happen but as i posted earlier fallon as a 6 time champion jockey should have had the nouse to know selling quality horses are poor by the describtion of the race 'seller' your apparent ignorance to what actually happened is appaling and similar to being a member of the bha disgraceful comment and lack of respect to us idiot punters tut tut
MrConnolly25 5 months ago
wow i can remember this one, it cost me a lucky 15 up my first horse won and i had this for my second, my other two horses won getting me a trebble if this one won i would of got over £300, its was 13/8 or 15/8 fav, fallon the muppet
dozn01 5 months ago
If i had a bet on fallons mount here id have been up at the payout before the race was over because the horse had the race won all that changed that was fallon had other ideas. .the man cheated the punters that day for which he should have received a lifetime ban from british racing.i can take what losses i have in betting as long as i lose fair and square.play fair and get the corruption out of the sport
strumfellow 8 months ago
Anyone who can defend that is pretty stupid imo 1min 32 he has a look and CLEARLY stops riding if he was worried he was getting caught surely he should have thrown everything at the horse he stops riding for a few seconds and then has another go when it;s all too late. Imactually a fan of Fallon but that looked incredibly dodgy to me.
Nathan084 8 months ago
@Nathan084 yes you're right he clearly has a look at the furlong pole, a look over his right shoulder to the horses on his outside and eases his horse when he doesn't see the winner on the rail because it's hidden from his view. The winner then comes out towards the middle of the course and Fallon sees it when taking a second look again over the same shoulder and panics and tries to get his horse going again. The head on view at the end shows this best of all.
amazed66 6 months ago
Horse had plenty gas. What happened is Fallon eased off becuase he thought he had the race won and undernormal circumstances he would have but his mount instead of slowing slightly like any jockey would expect he all but downed tools completely. Realising his mistae he tried hard to recitify his mistake. I believe he was lucky to get off in court but little wonder if this is the kind of evidence they came up with. There was nothing corrpt about this ride.Only an idiot would say he stopped it.

BlueOrderRedMarauder 1 year ago
betting in running ..the easiest way to cheat the punters . fallon would have been trading at very short odds and that is when those in the know either lay him or bet the winner at long odds ..just made it a bit too obvious this time !

Fallon to be champion jockey 2010
PMcM1007 2 years ago
Great jockey? He cheated the ordinary punter and was banned over here! Steve Cauthen, Frankie and Lester were true geniuses! lester rode his first winner aged 11? Kieren wasn't known in the early 90's so where was his talent then?
copperpotbaby 2 years ago
I seem to remeber he was 6 times champion jockey over in england, and when he was at Sir Micheal Stoutes yard he rode a Derby winner for him, and 2 other derbys, a breeders cup mile on turf,, Irish derbys.. The ARC over in france.!! and his last group one win was the Arc 2007 on dylan thomas!! Keiren Fallon has rode winners from BALLINROBE to HONG KONG so he has talent... I wud'nt rate Fallon above lester but i wud always have my money on keiren over frnakie...
Thats my opionin..
PMcM1007 2 years ago
@PMcM1007 Yes but Fallon will always be remembered as a cheat! Steve cauthen won more prize money and rode a record breaking number of rides in 50 days, but Frankie doesn't have to ride great horses to win races! He can be boxed in and create miracles; only a magician could win 7 on the bounce! Could fallon?
copperpotbaby 2 years ago
@copperpotbaby You talk about been box in a create miracles... Ryan moore, Richard Hughes, J spencer, Ted durcan, J murtagh, and of course Kieren Fallon have all done the same. Look at the ride Kieren gave dylan thomas in the ARC 2007. Master at work.. Im not saying Franky aint a good jockey, in fact this season he was on top of his game. your rite 6 wins in one day is unreal. But i think Fallon is a better horse man than franky. Rayn Moore has just said resently that Fallon is the best he saw
PMcM1007 2 years ago
@PMcM1007 We will never agree on this but wanna say that frankie was the first teenager to ride 100 winners since Lester and his first winner over here was on his 16th birthday! Fallon doesn't match that! Eddery rode many great winners so this shows that the horse must be more important than the jockey? Also, Frankie won 7 on the bounce and not 6!
copperpotbaby 2 years ago
@PMcM1007 Frankie always'd give a horse every chance to win and sometimes even increased their chances! He rides with a flair that is great to watch but skilled enough to aid a horse's performance. Fallon just sits on a superior horse until the rest slow down and pass him; only one jockey of this generation will be remembered-guess who?
copperpotbaby 2 years ago
Your Damn rite we will never agree. But i hink your comment that fallon just sits on best horses in that race is pushing it to far. Fallon has rode winners from no were and at big prices to.. Maybe its an Irish thing that Fallon is getting such a bad rap... If your such a big horse race fan you will have to be aware that Fallon has rode some masterfull races like the ARC in 2007 were he beat franky who was on the derby winner that day. Anyway we should get payed for PROMOTING the 2 JOCKEYS. lol.
PMcM1007 2 years ago
it's nothing about an irish thing but I realise that the irish usually see no wrongs in their own people. Now a couple of facts for you: Which jockey has ridden more group 1 and classic winners around the world than any other jockey? Check this out because it is frankie! Also, Fallon won the Arc and beat Frankie but he lost to the same horse in the derby. riding winners doesn't define a great jockey because Eddery would had passed Lester's total if he had not retired!
copperpotbaby 2 years ago
Fallon has the pick of the rides because he usually rides for Michael Stoute and and Aidan O'Brien! Frankie has ridden for luca Cumani and peter Chapple-Hyam!
copperpotbaby 2 years ago
@copperpotbaby so the Godolphin horses are donkeys are they?
Plus Frankie was riding for top stables like Cumani and Gosden while Fallon was riding poor horses at northern gaff tracks.
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66 re-read my comments because you'll find that O'Brien and Stoute have the best horses! Who has ridden more group one races around the world? FRANKIE!
copperpotbaby 5 months ago
@copperpotbaby Fallon only rode a few seasons for O'Brien/Stoute, Frankie's been riding for top stables like Cumani, Gosden, & Godolphin for 20+ years since he was a teen. He also rides other Maktoum horses all ove rthe world including when jocking off others or when bought from other owners & he gets on them. Fallon might be older but he didn't really start riding regularly in group races until he went to Cecil's & had spent about 10 years riding in the northern UK courses before that.
amazed66 5 months ago
@amazed66 Don't u think because Fallon has been such a bad professional has caused him to miss rides and not to be trusted by both owners and the establishment? I remember him being banned in 1994 and, i think, it was something to do with him attacking another jockey called Webster! He's had several betting scandals and should be banned for life right now! Would u expect him to keep his place as stable jockey? I have a book, called Racehorse, and Frankie is featured on at least 10 page; Fallon-1
copperpotbaby 5 months ago
@amazed66 While 17 years of age, Frankie rode 17 winners in Italy before coming to Britain; Fallon rode 29 winners in Britain as a 26 year old! Fallon rode 3 winners in Derby; Two for Stoute and one for Cecil, don'y u think he had the best ride in the race? All of Fallon's were fancied and one was fav; Dettori's only Derby win was 25/1! Frankie is the best known jockey of the 21st century, the most trusted, the entertainer the crowds want to see! He won 7 in '96; When will Fallon match this?

when a thoroughbred is at maximum flight, along with fallon so far clear of d rest of d field, Kieran may have felt it prudent to ask the mare for maximum effort when he noticed second place closing rapidly.

The way he did it looks as if he tried to just knacker the horse by setting crazy early fractions but maybe the horse was just lit up by the blinkers and lasted longer than he expected.Lets just hope all these dodgy stuff is behind Kieren now.
nemeth2009 2 years ago
looks behind him twice and slows down and the guy who catches him uses the whip and fallon doesnt.
The Fallon fans on here remind me of the Michael Jackson zealots. It would just burst their sad little bubbles too much if it were all true so they deny it even though its obvious to most rational people.

The greatest jockey in the world today.

Fair point, I meant FLAT jockey.

if kieren really wanted to lose this race he would have missed the start and got his horse boxed in.Anybody who thinks there is foulplay here knows sweet fuck all bout racing. There are plenty ways to stop a horse and this isnt one of them.its comical that the mets case was based on this. What a discrace

FALLON THE LEGEND RETURNS
BABAK06 2 years ago
i couldnt care less wat people think of kieran fallon he is a racing legend in his own right and has done his time so leave him alone to fuck as if any of ye people even know what its like to be a jockey the man risks his life every day to do what he loves and know one has the right to judge him...... come of the fallon cant wait till friday
mylesgoodbody 2 years ago 2

I really can't believe that an 'expert' can see any wrong in this apart from it being a simple cock-up on Fallons behalf.

lol .. your having a laugh mate !!

ISBAILEYDEADYET 2 years ago
