Not really, you see Obama had a confusing campaign, he switched constantly on certain issues. He used pure charisma and his color (he's half black ironically, and a rich one at that) to sway most people. Hanging out around Hollywood near the election proved it, you saw so many people wearing hip Obama shirts. Face it, most blacks voted for him, because he was black. As ex Navy I supported McCain for his valiant efforts with the troop surge, the only reason why we are winning Iraq.

A case in point- I was on an appointment. There were 2 black women (not knowing each other) were talking about Obama. Woman No1-Asked what the other liked about Obama. Woman No2- said he was a fine looking man, and he would make a great president. Woman No1 then said "you know he's got a sistah's back".
