I agree, but the only of these movies show here that was kind of branded as a "LESBIAN love-story" was "Losing Chase". "The Hunger" is a vampire-film, but the press got all hung up on the lesbian (or, actually bisexual) scenes between Deneuve and Sarandon.

In response to your comment about artificial differences in lesbian and gay relationships as portrayed in movies: I think that the writers exploit such differences for dramatic effect. Successful couples -- be they straight or gay -- tend to be fairly well matched. Opposites supposedly attract -- but they also fight and fall apart. The latter is harder in life, but more more interesting on screen!
(I agree that spammers are major *****.)

just curious why these movies always have to have the moniker "lesbian" instead of just being a romance or whatever. it would be nice if america took a european turn and not be a nation of "6 year old who scream and giggle when they see pee-pee parts" (bill maher)

I agree, but the only of these movies show here that was kind of branded as a "LESBIAN love-story" was "Losing Chase". "The Hunger" is a vampire-film, but the press got all hung up on the lesbian (or, actually bisexual) scenes between Deneuve and Sarandon.

There are many categorizations of the persons that of being absolutely majority there might be thought that they would make collapse the society: the rich ones, the intellectual ones, the nomads, the intellectuals (who work?)... But in addition, "gays" can have children, in fact many of they has them. Then, to where do you want to come?

Nice compilation !..BTW,I remember listening to this background opera music on my walks back from University in the snowy sky in the late '80's, but I can't recall the name. It seemed to go well with the snowflaked sky. The Hunger was a well produced film indeed. Bowie should have done more films.

The flaunting of sexuality is, statistically and behaviorally speaking, a reason to hate straights. I'm not suggesting that we become heterophobes for this reason, but I have no sympathy with the offended sensibilities (nothing to do with sense) of types such as crankysing.
