The CTS series along with the C6 Corvette are the best cars to ever roll out of GM. I'm still surprised by the supreme execution of the CTS line. If only GM could be more consistent with this level of execution throughout all its brands.

Super cars= are your basic Porsche turbos and Corvett's. Hyper Cars= cars that preform differently after 110. thats the difference. People think super/hyper cars mean 0-60 times. But really the main difference is how they do after 110. example Nissan GTR fast 0-60. SHitty after 110. Mclairin f1 decent 0-60 great after 110. get it? Mclairin=hyper. GTR=super.

G8 looks plain, Cobalt is too low market, not a fan of the new Camaro styling, and the Corvette isn't enough of an everyday car.

I like the way the g8 looks but yeah the cobalt is supposed to be cheap but it makes a great track car and driver, the vette works great as a daily driver my dad has been driving them everyday for 5 years.

new malibu is nice,,all cars i would buy new from america are GM made, cobalt ss (most powerfull 4 banger today) malibu, cadillac (my favorite) g6, g8, impala, ,, oh only non gm american car i like is that new lincoln mks or whatever its called

the lincoln is just a taurus, so dont be surprised if it feels like it. but yeah GM is all i buy, i would never buy a Ford or a Chrysler product unless it was a cheap Charger SRT-8 Daytona or if they actually put a good engine in the Crossfire. But the Cobalt is a beast (not the most powerful 4 banger, but definately the quickest track coupe besides the mazdaspeed 3), that's what i want and the performance parts are a heck of a lot cheaper for it than any other car out there.

The Cobalt is a fun car, I actually took one out when I was looking for a new car, but you gotta realize that in ten years, the Mazda will still be carving corners while the Cobalt may very well be out of commission. The lifespan is too short for the price.

Why would I drop $23k for the Cobalt ,when a little more gets me a Subaru with AWD that will last twice as long and hold it's value better?

Cobalt SS's were available at a couple big dealers on Ebay a few months ago for 19K, brand new. A steal if you jumped on them...they seemed to sell very quick.
