There is nothing really toxic. Unless sulphur dioxide only, but it isn't so dangerous.

SO2 is extreamly toxic, along with all the other sulfur oxides produced (S2O3, S7O2, S6O2, SO3, SO, and all the higher sulfer oxides) its a toxic soup, the only good thing is low exposure causes no cronic damege, but you can die from high exposure, sorry

No, this gas han't fantastic toxicity. To poisoning yourself you need to do this experiment with a lot of mix in a small room. Its highly unlikely, even if you are absolutely crazy.

So this experiment is almost safe.

a lot of nitrates are good oxidizers so u can use sodium nitrate basically even with sugar and charcoal 5/5 for trying ;)
