I like how this game is close to classic megaten in story. Also P3 really isn't that dark. Believe it or not it's one of the more lighthearted games at least in comparison to say P2, this game, nocturne, and soul hacker.

YT won't let me write everything I have to say about P2 because of the character limit. I just wanted to say that unlike popular belief, Persona 2 IS and EP aren't really as dark and serious as other SMT games. Actually, barring the first game, the Persona series is quite the SMT "lite" if you understand what I mean. Characters act silly at times, a lot of comedic scenes and that stuff. They were meant to appeal to the mainstream of jRPGs unlike the other SMT games.

yeah I understand and I agree with you, but P2 is still a dark game for the most part despite the anime quirks. Hell, the more lighter games in the SMT series such as P4 and the two Raidou games have some darkness.
