@mrrawrlicious first of all do some arena abusing in the first arena you find, itll get you some money, next there is a ch (ch21 eliwood, 22 hector i think) where you protect nils on your first trip into ostia, there is a secret shop on an odd looking tile above where you find heath, you can get physic staves in there for ~ 3750 each, physic staves lv up your healers FAST, giving you like 30-40 exp each cast to unpromoted classes, you can also get torch staves for 1000, they give you 20 exp

@mrrawrlicious you dont use the healer to abuse the arena, you use some1 else to do it then you heal them, gets you easy exp, but you wont have enough heal staves when you are at the first arena so you cant abuse it too much there, i do all of my arena abusing on this chapter cause you can buy heal staves

@fe7fan249 At the port where the first arena is, there is also a shop with staves. A bit over Fagus. You don't have any problems with the staves-supply there.

ah ok, i dont really play fe6-8 much anymore, i have 7-8 on gba but my DS lites R button doesnt work anymore so i cant check stats and weapons on it, which ruins the strategy part, so i cant play it well anymore, i have to use the emus to play it now, but i play so many kinds of games that i never turn it on any more, i left off on hect hard mode around ch 23

If you train Lyn you have a good SWordmaster and a Nomad trooper.

If you train Eliwood you have like a PAladin with Hero (the strenght and Defense)

If you train Hector you have a WArrior and a General

i always use the main character(s), because they are usually the best, and they have to participate in the final ch. so having some weak guy(s) running around is no good, however in my opinion eliwood sucks, he is too slow, hector has better max spd, not to mention better max str and def, eliwood is good as a lord but when he turns to knight lord he starts going downhill, his good spd gets nerfed by a pitiful max spd of 24, i dont like him, lyns spd and skill rock, hectors str and def rock too

mm Eliwood is not slow, the matter is his constitution... and the weapons (lances and Durandal) are to heavy for him, he has the same max Speed than Hector ( 24 )

But the creators have should made him like a HERO and no like a Paladin xD

to me spd of 24 is slow, 26 is med to me, wyv lords are ok because they get a def of 28 to help make up for the bad max spd of 23, but eliwood doesnt have such a luxery since his def goes to 24 or 25, and i was sure hectors spd goes to 25, but maybe not, still hectors str and def are higher, eliwood i believe gets a str of 27 but hectors str 30 is better, and i would agree with you the creators should have made him more like a hero than pally especially cause his def isnt good enough for pally

actually hector for 1 doesnt suck, he owns, probably 1 of the best characters ever, lyn becomes good when she turns into a blade lord, and eliwood is good till he turns into a knight lord, he gets nerfed really bad
