  • Pack that thing slightly lightly and polietly....

  • You knoe he lit up sfter the show.

  • that hair tho..

  • If cab was white he`d have been bigger than tommy dorsey and glenn miller combines.

  • C walking isn't Crip Walking, It's fucking Cab Calloway Walking!! 1:30

  • Reefer Man "High" quality

  • Ha hahahaha! That's funny!

  • ...That's one classy reefer man... ;D

  • Dad's Home!

  • The Wiz Khalifa of his day.

  • @hossahunter22 How dare you compare Cab Calloway to that...whatever it is?

  • @Afterburnzz Just a joke because Wiz always sings about getting high...for that matter so does almost every rapper. Since this was about weed it was just a joke. Cab is definately better than Wiz or anyone else. I worded the joke wrong. It should have said this is why all of the rappers today sing about weed.

  • @hossahunter22 apples and oranges, man... Cab actually had talent.

  • this is what could happen if weed was legal again

  • thumbs up if you're the reefer man

  • The beginning bass line sounds like Laquer Head by Primus. :D

  • This is from the movie 'International House' with W.C. Fields..Burns and Allen..Bela Lugosi..Stuart Irwin...Franklin Pangborn..'drat those 100 year old eggs.'

  • And those feet are neat and fleet..(shut up)

  • Those suits suit, sue

  • Well, the cat's pajamas, anyway.

  • 1:51, 1930 head banging. This is great it's the cats pajamas/ the bees knees

  • Not only was it bc of the black musicians but Mexican ppl as well this 70 year drug war/prohibition started bc of racism pretty fucked up.... _\|/_

  • This was actually made before marijuana was illegal. In that day it was associated with these Black jazz players who supposedly smoked it and raped white women.

  • Love the stand-up slap bass!

  • Oh please, tell me how the music is called at 0:06 !

  • @AnnoyingLe "....Cab Calloway and his Harlem Maniacs (Nickname for Cab Calloway's Orchestra) present a flaming bit of heated Harlem parley."

  • Wish I had some mota :(

  • This is like the "Through the Fire and the Flames" of big band jazz.

  • classic

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cypress Hill and Bob Marley are good and all, but I think this is my favourite weed song.

  • Whenever I find myself romanticizing the 1930's and wishing I'd been around back then, I console myself with the fact that at least the 2010's have the whole economic downturn thing going for us, even if music sucks and politicians are of a distinctly sub-Rooseveltian caliber.

  • Mistrz.

  • What movie is this taken from?

  • Wow

  • If only I had the money to play the upright bass.

  • Look at that hair fly! That's a happy man!

  • Lol at this song being 4:20 long!

  • Fun Fact: Cab Calloway was psychic. He based this song on Afroman, 40 years before he was born!

  • i whip mah hair back and forth

  • oh my god! cab is the coolest guy in the world!

  • Great bass playing on this

  • I can't tell if he dances like a cartoon character or if cartoon characters dance like him.

  • @Ruach The latter. As I understand it, this is due to direct intervention; that cat was rotoscoped for rubberhouse!

  • Cab Calloway sort of reminds me of the Cat from Red Dwarf.

  • Yes, it is wonderful!

  • thumbs up if you just went to see this because of the Nostalgia Chick from "Thatguywiththeglasses"

  • so cool

  • Love pot.

    You?

  • 0:27-28 Guy in the background exhales his CLOUD after exhaling for afew seconds before 0:24 . I bet they made multiple takes and or cut out the parts where they were all passing it aorund hahah

  • I wonder if the editors back then were runing the klips of fast.

    Cous tats aint look normal

  • The Reefer Man HIGH .... Quality.

  • Can anyone tell me se global subject and the goal of this song?

I heard he speak about drugs?

  • @lectho93

    its not about "DRUGZ"

    its about the reefer man

  • WIZ WHO

  • i had no idea my dance style had black heirtage

  • WHATS HE SMOKING

  • the way he moved his body was the introduction to white girls getting wet and curious from the black entertainer

  • This is all reet!

  • Please put this in the next Fallout.

  • @AdamX21198 I cant believe I saw your comment, I could not agree with you more sir. New vegas would have been a little cooler...

  • @pandabearxtream I don't get why it's like 2077, and there's no hip-hop or any modern music. WTF! It's like all the modern shit gets burned but all records are in perfect condition and are on the radio, I was expecting some techno or metal or some shit. It's not 1930 you know.

  • @AdamX21198 The nuclear shit happened before hip-hop or modern music, I guess.

  • @AdamX21198 As I understand it, the '60's never quite happened in Fallout, nor did anything after that. American culture was pretty much locked in that whole time, due in part to the influence of the Enclave. There must have been new music in that period, but there would have been no deviation in tone until after the bombs fell. I would like more post-war music, though, but that would take composing and recording and the like.

  • @GenaTrius I know it's the fallout universe, but I think of it as fallout in our universe. The apocalypse happened and you get out of the vault in 2077, but before then it must've been in 2040 or something. Remember operation anchorage? before bombs fell? They had cloak devices, futuristic stuff. So there should be some cds lying around y'know? While they're fighting the war, there's music genres being created. Did the chinese aim for the cds?? BAM! Instant conspiracy!!

  • ive met that funny refer man(: <3

  • He Was OG I think weed was still leagal when he wrote this.

  • this song makes me think of my dead homie MSGMCMUFFIN, RIP Gangster, <3 you.

  • he would always play it for me making fun of me about being a retarded stoner. WELL, BEING A DUMB ASS POTHEAD DOESN'T MAKE YOU OVERDOSE AND DIE YOU JUNKIE but it's all good. I still a smoke a fat one and listen to this and think about how you are the real funny dope man.

  • i met that funny refer man, he said it was candy and dreams in the rizla, he was right

  • The very first stoner song

  • precursor to every form of music today...

  • how does one hepcat?

  • @jahrastapack first u limp to tha sides like ur legs was broken,. shakin' and twitchin' kinda like you was smokin!

  • @jahrastapack A "hepcat" is a state of being. You either are or you're not. It's that simple. Sort of like having the XFactor for lack of a better term.

  • i wish American was like this now and days!!!

  • I think its coke not reefers these guys are on.

  • Damn. Lovin' that dancing.

  • Some classy mother fuckers, right there. Dig it!

  • This is what kick ass music is all about.

  • imagine being right there watching this band……..amazing

  • Weed brought me here. Dad smoked in the 70's

  • Before it was illegal?

  • The sweet sound of real music.

  • There are so many songs about weed these days, Cab Calloway nailed it before all these modern tossers. Snoop Dog, Wiz Khalfia, eat your heart out.

  • @riptonks I like 'Panama Red' and 'Henry' by the NRPS, but you're right, Cab Calloway did it first and he did it great.

  • @riptonks hell yea cab kills it early on

  • I can't get over his little dance, that is just pure win right there.

  • @1203125 HHHAHAHAHAHA... I think that's how I dance...

  • classic!

  • Still digging that sweet three note transition up the octave starting at 1:40...hoy hoy hoy!

  • Still digging that walk up the scale starting at 1:40...hoy hoy hoy!
