  • Great AR for $649 here in Cali. I work at a gun store and always get some know it all who puts this rifle down due to not having a forward assist, dust cover, and chromed lined barrel. Those three things are simply not an issue when the average Joe that buys this is just going to customize it, take it to the range and have fun with it. I own one and also and S&W 15-22 and both rifles eat up all kind of ammo and have no issues. Buy one and spend the money you save on ammo and mods.

  • I own one Ive had it about 6 months now and love it. Takes a few rounds to break it in but I was still able to zero it at 100 yrds using the iron sights with in 9 shots.

  • Your price is wrong.

  • Has anyone put quadrail on one of these?

  • @Bamabarrett Yes I put a quadrail on 2 days ago.

  • @Bamabarrett yes came out beautifull

  • Two questions did he say forged upper and lower receivers? And does the flash hider screwed on? Or forged as well

  • after shooting multiple rounds through it the bolt would get hot. How will you utilize the notch for the forward assist then?

  • @kevinnguyen92

exactly i have seen this gun promoted to just use that bot as the forward assist before. some idiot who dosent think will burn their finger......and well you wouldn't be able to use the bolt directly after firing many rounds by using your finger

  • @kevinnguyen92 gloves....lol

  • bet it feels nice to tap that "forward assist notch" after about 300 rounds.

  • @SpookeyEyeGhost i dont know if you got one yet but check out stag they have nice rifles for not too much money i think the model 3 is around 850ish but you get alot of nice features railed gas block, option to put different length rails ect..

  • @Jake93r17 You're right. It's hard to choose between S&W, Stag, DPMS, and Del-Ton at this price range. my budget will be between $700-850. Gotta leave a little money for extras such as ammo, spare mags etc. Thanks for the comment. Stag is def. one of the guns i'm torn between. What i end up getting will depend on what my local store has in stock at the time. Have a nice day and thanks again.

  • @SpookeyEyeGhost I spent 3 months set on the stag model 3 and came to a decision to buy this, great gun. I have no regrets getting this over stag, as well as i saved myself $300. This one also came with sights, when the stag did not. Love my M&P.

  • @EvolutionSportsCA hows the performance of the M&P 15 compared to other ar's

  • @peytonthegunnut

dont own one but for average range shooting should be just about the same

  • wtf that gun is $7709 thousand

  • @MrDaredevil559 Miss-type. He ment $709. that's what i thought to...it was like DAMN.

  • @SpookeyEyeGhost wow that is so freaking cheep.....a sw mp 1522 almost cost the same thing maybe 100 dollars more and i got my mp 15 22 for 640

  • @MrDaredevil559 I saw that to. They have a review of this(sport) and the M&P 15-22 in the new issue of Complete AR Rifleman. They gave both of them a great review. Nice to see an article about useing an AR for duty'defense, and an Ar 15-22 for practice. Great article. Look for it at newsstands, or at your local grociery store. They are both really great deals for the money. Keep safe Bro.

  • @sharedeth. Thank you so much. I appreciate it.. Very much..

  • So the melonite is on the inside of the barrel? I take it that this is better than chrome lined? or as good?

  • @SeymourHoosierDaddy Not as hard as chrome but almost. Also it has a lot more corrosion resistance. In fact it is pretty much the same thing glock does to their barrels!

  • Nice video. Does anyone know how these compare to similar priced models from DPMS, Bushmaster, ETC. ? Chooseing between the various makers is a real pain, especially on a budget of around 900-1000 bucks.

  • So it cost an extra $800 for a forward assist, dust cover, and a shitty two piece trigger area!! Im sold!!

  • I love it. I think I just found the newest addition to the family.

  • I prefer the dust cover. Otherwise, I like it.
