Z is a good car, but the 911 is simply on another level. Even when comparing a ZR1 to a GT3 on the ring'(911 with almost 1/2 the torque, and 200 less HP), the GT3 is not only faster, but the 4 people doing the testing for EVO mag had nothing but praise...5 out of 5 stars. ZR1 3.5 stars...

Unlike others, the 911 race-car does not trickle the technology down...it POURS down into it's production cars. Drive one, and it is an epiphany.

Just because a professional race-car driver can drive the doors off a piece of crap, doesn't make it a benchmark(which the 911 is, and the Oldsmobile isn't).

You could put a turbine engine in a Yugo, with Bilsteins, and it's still a POS.

yes i do run with bob stefanowitz, loran beggs and eric obertz. i dont claim to be fast as the 3 names i listed. They have the highest HP turbo cars out there, but i run the times that i run...it is what it is! also i run 1:39 's at fontana.

protrader6, that is 2 bad esp considering the great lap time you churned out. as 4 loren and eric, competing against those cars is almost not fair. i know a little about what's in them and all i can say is that they r terrifying. i find it amazing that the times they turn r still well-off of what cars like those r capable of doing, and that is no disrespect 2 them but rather a testiment 2 how fast those toys r. i know less about Bob except hes really fast. enjoy in good health.

Have you ever raced? It takes a great deal of time, skill and effort to get times as good as that. The fact that he can get consistent times without crashing or hitting the rest of the field says a lot about his own personal skills...

Thanks for the support BrianB170. I think Karlt10 was driving one of the slow cars in the back of the field. This was the first lap of the race so it takes time to get thru the group of slow cars safely. Karlt10 may have the to skill to drive a good slow line with 75 hp. .. Karlt10 this car turns 1:37's at sears point with me driving the CORRECT LINE!.. you are the one that the driving schools talk about, that drives over their head and crashes on the start of a race.

The line is something you practice in DE, racing is the line you take to run fast and get through traffic. it can be different every lap! why dont you post a video of your "line" so we can see how fast YOU are! :)
