Looking at these physics makes me kinda wish that SCS would implement a system where, instead of doing missions and stuff all the time, you could freely roam the map with/without a trailer, or hell, even in one of the AI cars. Surely it wouldn't be that hard to make a system where the game would decide whether or not it's semi-truck or regular civilian vehicle.

That's the problem. Where the hell do you see any car simulators out there that has the physics similar to ETS? That's what I dont' undertand. "It's a truck simulator" DUH! I KNOW THAT! But if you're implementing amazing physics, why not have a mode to drive regular civilian cars too? It's really not that hard to do if you ask me.

From the outside it looks great, but the inside view still unrealistic beacause the camera -your eyes in the game- are always still. When the truck moves your neck tries to keep your head straight and your eyes focused in the road, compensating the truck's moves in any direction. The camera has to respond to the bouncing and move in the opposite direction of the cockpit moves.

ok,is a great progress in phisycs but still there are some mistakes:the acceleration of the truck is quite much(i think it would do 0-100 in 8 sec).it should accelerate vrey little,getting to 90 km/h in about 2-3 mins.

The gear shifting is a big piece of crap.Extreme trucker 2 got the exact ratio of the gears but there the trucks go too slow.Anyway,if you would introduce a MANUAL clutch in the game ii think the gear shifting will be 10 times more realistic!

Hi I'm a fan of the series of euro truck simulator and derivatives, my question is could cause the graphics are good but at the same time without slowing down work? this question because I have many friends complain about this problem in German truck simulator, the second reason why this question is that it works without problem on computers that do not approach the requirements demanded.

@ziomek344 I drive a Iveco Stralis, EU trucks doesnt use long time to gain speed without cargo on. Usualy a truck has 400 Horse powers or more, Even 760 on some. It doesnt take so much time gaining to 100 KM in a truck :P

Single problem with shifting gear is the high RPM...in SCS's simulators trucks works between 1.800RPm and 2.100RPm.Since HAULIN SCS did't change this detail.In USA this RPms are ok but in EU trucks works between 1.300 and 1.500...if SCS will fix that I'll order 100 ETS2 DVDs :))
