Just for the record. I am a full blooded native-american from the Navajo tribe in NM and i love this song. I don't find it offensive at all. Its actually inspiring since there aren't a lot of native-themes found in mainstream media in a modern sense. It has the tee-pees of the plains tribes, the decor inspired by the northwestern tribes mixed in the "old hollywood" indian colors. Its super neat. I just wish natives would make a music video like this, except in our own languages. Sarang hae EYK!

i dont really find the dance offensive; though i can see why some people might since it stereotypes the culture. i think they were just trying to emulate what they saw 'natives' as, and might not realize the cultural context it has to americans.
I'd like to say that everyone interprets things differently, therefore something that is offensive to someone might not necessarily be offensive to others. I thought the choreography to this song was lacking and offensive, since it incorporated something that I thought was offensive to the Native Americans and used it as a promotional effort asset. Later on, I saw comments from Native Americans who said that they weren't offended. So, I finally concluded that this tolerable, but not at all okay.
I think T-ara's next video would be something we didn't expect from them. It would be cool if they turned it into a super short mini-drama and sang during different parts of it. All the members break up with their boyfriends in different ways, then they meet each other while they're out drinking alcohol(XD), and then they get together and plot to ruin their ex-boyfriends' lives. In the end, they'd figure out they're better without them and go adopt pets like Spudgy. I'd like to see that! :D

Rakkun you obviously FAIL. Even (and probably) if they didnt mean it to be Offensive, The content in the video itself can be seen as offensive no matter what you say. Simon and Martina know it, I know it, a bunch of other ppl know it and deep down you know it too that in the video they are trying to portray Native people in the stereotypical way and that can be seen as offensive. If someone made a Video portraying your race using all these bad stereotypes you'd prob feel offended too.

@Scionofgreyhaven Actually Korean ancestors , the indigenous people of Siberia , (Evenks) Actually live in teepee's and do dress similiar. and they actually have alot of similiar cultures as with natives americans, such as gathering around in circle and dancing and singing.

i dont really find the dance offensive; though i can see why some people might since it stereotypes the culture. i think they were just trying to emulate what they saw 'natives' as, and might not realize the cultural context it has to americans.

I'd like to say that everyone interprets things differently, therefore something that is offensive to someone might not necessarily be offensive to others. I thought the choreography to this song was lacking and offensive, since it incorporated something that I thought was offensive to the Native Americans and used it as a promotional effort asset. Later on, I saw comments from Native Americans who said that they weren't offended. So, I finally concluded that this tolerable, but not at all okay.

I think T-ara's next video would be something we didn't expect from them. It would be cool if they turned it into a super short mini-drama and sang during different parts of it. All the members break up with their boyfriends in different ways, then they meet each other while they're out drinking alcohol(XD), and then they get together and plot to ruin their ex-boyfriends' lives. In the end, they'd figure out they're better without them and go adopt pets like Spudgy. I'd like to see that! :D

i think it's kinda wrong to say all that.. you're just giving your opinion on the lyrics and the mv's but it's not like t-ara thought of the concept,lyrics and mv. They just did what they were told to do. Although it is good that you mention the dance choreograph and not t-ara. you should clearly say the writer composer choreographer clothing artist and such. cause how you're saying it now is a bit demeaning to t-ara.
