yours is ALOT better the 100 is a POS it has a bolt on neck yours is set, it has crappy pickups, yours are amazing, it has crappy quality, yours is great quality

ok, i have this guitrar. sucks ass. its pickups suck compared to an original standord gibb. this things neck is screwed in so many places and positions and its sound is like amouse dieing :)

u can pretty much get them anywhere but i recomend u get it online bc the guys at guitar center or anyone else will rip u off... my friend bought a standard from guitar center and they gave him one that was for display and he didnt even know it until he got home and plugged it in and it was not working.

Have you played an LP100? The quality is exceptional and the guitar is actually $270.

And if you tweak it right, an es339, a les paul jr, and an SG can all sound like a Les Paul.

the wood will always be different thats why you buy a gibson, mainly because of the quality of the wood wich is very high wend. Epiphones have low end materials, and the humbuckers are much better on a gibson. its worth payin like 2.5grand if u hve the money for a gibson les paul standard. I hve one and its amazing

these days It won't really matter, if you got your hands on a gibson that's been manufactured 5 years back or earlier good, recent american guitars are shit, they're getting a worse rep than chinese guitars and that's stretching it

I got this exact guitar from Long and McQuade for 99 dollars. It's not bad, but I found the feel of it awkward. I ended up selling mine, and getting an LP Standard instead, i can honestly say there is a world of difference between the guitars. But the LP-100 is not bad for what it is. Who knows, maybe i just got stuck with a bad one.

Epiphone les paul: lp 100 is cheaper than studio and studio is cheaper than standard (plain or plus)... I want to buy a les paul standard but here in peru where I live the les paul series are too expensive... at least $670 for a les paul standard =S ... I don't know what to do because if i try to buy it in other country the price is similar adding other payments. Some advice?
