ive got a golf mk4 same 2.0 motor. is this the throttle by wire 2.0? and what was the install time? also what pulley system did you go with.

Watched it again, and I think I saw the serpentine belt is double-ribbed, both sides. My bad. That noise sure sounds like a bearing going out to me, either the belt tensioner or the alternator.

Your serpentine belt appears to be on upside down. The ribs on the belt should be facing down against the ribs on the alternator and A/C pulley. Did you bypass the A/C compressor? The belt is not wrapped around the A/C pulley at all. That could be the source of your squeaking...

engine cover mod? That's the neuspeed supercharger, it replaces the upper intake.
